This was our third visit to Camping Cisano and definitely our last. The accommodation had several problems (BBQ not working, leaking tap, broken decking, and a dangerously inconsistent shower). The kids pool area is unsafe and filthy – loose ladders, moss, dirt, and even unstable bricks. The slide area is unhygienic, and the stage/lake area often smelled awful. Even basic facilities like the dryer were broken. On top of that, the campsite feels unsafe for children, with cars, vans, campers, and even bin trucks constantly driving around – often at speed. Standards have dropped badly, and for the price it’s simply not acceptable. We won’t be returning.

This is a large campsite, effectively two campsites operating as one and also shares some facilities with the neighbouring Siblu lodges, so it does take some navigating. It is well located, right on the banks of the lake. It is around 10 minutes walk to the ferry in Cisano which can take you to any other town on the lake. It has two nice bar and restaurant areas, one as a terrace overlooking the lake, and other bars around the pools and by the beach, so lots of facilities. The larger pool with the slides is quite shallow so very safe for children, two larger slides and a good area with bucket and smaller slides. The smaller pool area has two pools, one very shallow with the two small yellow slides shown in the picture, the other is deep so you can swim in it, also hosts aqua aerobics etc. The lake beach itself is quite small and busy during the peak time, there are steps leading in to the lake or a pier if you prefer. The shop is large and well stocked, including a bakery. Eurocamp lodges were well positioned and central to the site so easy access to the shop, beach and both pools. Entertainment is by the beach so no noise issue on the site. No complaints at all, very pleasant stay.

What can I say?.... Amasing beach.Thats all The san vito camp is crouded and not really good maintened location. Our house was fro "Hu" provider. No coffie, suger, wash or bath utilities. Toster, kettle, nespresso machine and basic kitchen tools. I met insects in the room.Asked to take care, but the smell was horrible. Pool fool and busy. 9:30 opening and immidiately no place. I would not come again Very small and expensive supermarket...

Cisano SanVito is a large campsite, if you want a quiet site then this is not for you. The campsite is 3 sites, there is a main road dividing the 3 sites and we did spend most of our time on the Cisano side as this was the one with the slides. There are 2 pools on the san boot side which are deeper and quieter. We as a family with 3 children aged 15-8 loved the site, it's a good base for exploring Lake Garda. It's easy to walk along the lake to Bardolino and Lazise, although this is a slightly longer walk with small children. You can hire paddle boards and pedalos on the lake or bring your own. The site is clean and the pool areas are kept really clean by the life guards who are also on the ball when it comes to safety. The accommodation is close together, there are a lot of cars going through the site and the activities by the pool make the whole site quite busy and noisy. There is an on site shop, or a spar and Lidl nearby, getting to Verona, Gardaland is really easy with a car, however there did look to be frequent buses.

There a few things to know about this camp site. We booked through Eurocamp which was expensive and poor value. On arrival you have to book in twice, in the heat, with one person on check in, in a very small office. The sight is tight and packed and therefore also hot as the tarmac retains heat. The aqua park is good for primary school children as it is shallow- mid thigh on an adult. It’s really not good for older teens. The pool is very very busy. Lake Garda is beautiful - if you get out of the site the water is clear and it is lovely. Onsite it’s a different experience with cloudy water and a fence across the view. There is a dangerous crossing of a road from one side of the site to the other which would worry me with younger children. The camp shop is expensive and slow. The local area is lovely our advice - don’t take teens and get off site and enjoy the area.

The Campsite is a weird layout, based across a T junction in 3 parts. We were based on the San Vito site in a Eurocamp mobile. (More on it later) Campsite kids pool is based on the San Vito site (where we were) it was perfect for kids, 0.8 meters depth max with a puddle park, splash park and 2 bigger slides. Pool bar was good and reasonably priced too. There is another pool across the road but I think it was for bigger kids and adults. We didn't bother with it. Gates to the pool do not open until 9.30am, which means no one is making crazy 6am dashes to lay out towels. The lake is just outside the fence on the Cisano side of campsite - this tends to be where the campers and tents are based. There is no pool on this side. So anyone wanting to use pools from here has a bit of a walk. The onsite restaurants are good, the sisan restaurant does a cappuccino, warm croissant (plain, pistachio or Creme) with an orange juice for €5. And is open from 8 am. Which I unfortunately only found out on our last day. The pizza from both restaurants was very good and reasonably priced. (The carbonara was not so good unfortunately) The shop on site was ok, fresh bread in the morning but it's all very hard, so anyone with loose fillings be aware! Typical campsite prices, but there is an ok selection. The campsite is about a 5 minute walk from Cisano with about 6 restaurants and an Ice cream shop. There is also a ferry stop which can take you to Lazise Bardolino, Garda or Peschiera. Lazise is about a 15 min walk to left (worth a visit, a stunning town) and Bardolino about a 20-25 minute walk to right. Downside to the campsite was the strange layout, meaning anyone with kids can't really let them have much independence as walking anywhere involves crossing main roads. Also the traffic on site was very heavy with limited parking so cars were blocking each other in. Our mobile was based on a busy road with bin lorry's and oil trucks passing early in the morning. And very limited room for them to do so because of parked cars. We were in a Eurocamp 'comfort' mobile which was a mid priced one. If this was mid priced I'd hate to see the cheapest option. It was dated and grotty. With no toaster, grill or oven! Just a microwave and stove top to cook on. No coffee machine and the kettle took about 5 days to boil. The outdoor furniture was dated and dirty with our table collapsing one morning with all our breakfast dishes on it. We also had to get the shower head replaced as it wasn't working properly due to being filled with limescale. If staying on this site I'd recommend booking with Roan, Gustocamping or HU Openair their mobiles looked to be far more modern and spacious. The Eurocamp mobiles where all very closely located to each other too, to me they all looked like they'd squeezed 2 mobiles on the pitch meant for 1. There were about 2 meters between our kitchen window and the mobile behind us outdoor table. Meaning we were looking right at them while washing dishes. Ha

We have stayed in many campsites in Italy and this is the worst, it is 2 campsites linked by a dangerous underpass, you still need to cross a busy road which is unsafe for children. Upon arrival at the San Vito reception we were checked in by an extremely rude lady with no patience, while checking us in she let a roar at 2 children who were chatting, their parents were mortified, it was disgraceful. I tried asking a couple of questions and got snapped at. Our mobile was tiny, we were downgraded by Eurocamp 3 weeks before travel, we had booked an XL comfort and then told they had none available, the air con leaked all over the floor and into kids room and the toilet also leaked when flushed. The Eurocamp reps were very helpful and called maintain straight away. The entertainment was non existent with no central point or bar in the evening. The only positive thing about this campsite is its location, it’s easy accessible to Laize and Cisano by bike, there are fabulous restaurants. Molon 3 in Cisano is excellent. I would return to the area but not the campsite.

We booked a week here in Aug with Hu Openair. Our accommodation was excellent but the site is very big so we had a long walk to the main pool & the lake. Hu charge a lot for late check out. Just something to be aware of. On arrival I found the check in staff to be rude & dismissive. I ordered WiFi tourist & the receptionist insisted it had not arrived. She claimed the same the next morning even though I confirmed with the company that it had been delivered. I had to go to her colleague who did check and found my package! This interaction was typical of the receptionist staff. I found the restaurant on site was very good and reasonably priced. I found the supermarket had all the essentials. Prices were reasonable. I found the entertainment was not great compared to camp sites we have visited in France & Spain. I would recommend hiring bikes as a site is very big. We had a very long walk to the main pool. We were beside the second pool which is dated & had a limited snack bar. The main pool was good. Plenty of slides & a good snack bar. The sun bed situation is ridiculous though. The location on the lake is great & there is a good pier for swimming. We used local buses to get around, they were easy to use & plentiful So overall hit & miss.

We booked Camping Cisano San Vito as our first campsite in Italy having stayed in sites in Spain previously. We wanted a campsite near the lake that didn't require a car. The location is perfect with great restaurants a short walk away in Cisano and the beautiful Lazise and Bardolino close by. We booked with HU Openair and the only accommodation available was HU Easy Stay on the Cisano side of the site. The mobile was clean and had 2 bathrooms. We found HU Openair helpful when contacted. The restaurants on site were good and the supermarket is small but well stocked. The staff in the restaurants were lovely and friendly. The staff at check-in, in the supermarket and the security guards on the gates were rude and unhelpful. We had a family member with a disability and asked to use a bathroom on arrival. He was directed down a hill, down 2 set of steps with no handrail to a bathroom that had wet floors where he almost slipped. It was the worst possible start. We had a mobility scooter hired for the rest of the holiday which was the only way he could manage the site. The site is extremely hilly and not at all mobility friendly. When we asked reception for assistance getting our family member from the mobile to reception on our day of departure we were told no even though they had 2 golf carts sat outside (our rep was not on site at the time). Reception were unhelpful and rude considering we had spent 10 days of our hard earned money here. The main pool has slip resistant flooring but is very steep so is very difficult for someone with reduced mobility to enter. The toilets at the pool were dirty and had no showers. And sunbeds were reserved for hours and not used. We had 2 kids and I felt the site was unsafe as the staff drove around at high speed in golf carts and there were cars, campers and caravans driving around the site constantly. It was also the noisiest site I have ever stayed on. The road noise from motorbike and cars revving their engines went on until midnight almost every night. We returned at 11pm one night to a disco/rave taking place in the camping section of the site which went on until well after 1am. There are no facilities for kids other than the pool, lake and a nightly show. The soccer pitch is not maintained and has no lighting when it gets dark. This campsite calls itself 4* - it is nowhere near a 4* campsite. The facilities are run-down, dirty and the campsites only redeeming feature is its location. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Our first holiday to Italy started out quite well with a great trip to the airport, a very short queue through security and on flight take off. Landing left a little to be desired but land we did, at Milano BGY Airport. We even collected our luggage really quickly from the carousel. Then, and we knew it was coming, things started to go wrong.... This review is about the destination so I'll keep this part brief - do not hire a car from Viaggiare Rent at Milano BGY Airport. Not only did they try to scam us out of extra money and payments, us and many others queued for over 3 hours for the pleasure! The staff were slow, rude and argumentative. There were 4 - 5 couples/groups in front of us who also cancelled their car booking and walked away (out of pocket and without car). Once that was over, our only choice was to take public transport to Camping Cisano which takes circa 2hrs 30mins. This was less problematic than we'd anticipated but not what we had planned so our first day did not start well. On arrival, we had revered a bungalow at Camping Cisano, booking directly with them. The images had looked lovely and just that little bit more apartment like than the caravan options etc. After paying €100 deposit for the keys, air con remote and leaving a clean bungalow, and an extra €15 tourist tax, we made our way to our room. This was really quite disappointing. As a family of 4 - 2 adults, a teenager and a young baby, this was not going to be an easy week. There was little to no storage for clothes, shoes etc, never mind baby items, toys, nappies or food/drinks for the week. There was 0 space to manoeuvre in the place, particularly in the bathroom. Plug sockets were damaged and in unusual places such as next to light switches and no shelves nearby to place anything. A single small mirror in the bathroom was all we had and no hairdryer, no iron, no oven or grill, no bbq, no microwave, a tiny fridge and freezer, limited utensils, limited bedding and a single pillow each. I requested an additional 4 pillows from reception 4 times before we finally got them on the second to last night. This was after I had to raise a complaint woth the reception team and highlight that paying €800 for a weeks holiday in a tiny room is unreasonable enough as it is without an extra dig of requesting pillows daily until they eventually arrive. Anyway, there are some pros....the site itself is clean and tidy, there is easy access to the lake and swimming pools etc. There is an onside shop and restaurant which are slightly over priced but are good. Great fresh baked goods around 8am in the shop and lovely takeaway pizzas from the restaurant. As our holiday drew on, we started to consider our departure and return to the airport. Another trip to reception helped me discover that- 1. If you leave before 8am in the morning, the staff don't start that early and so no one can "check" your bungalow and so you automatically forgoe a €35 cleaning fee, regardless of how
