We stayed here for 5 nights and it was a real highlight of our trip. On this side of the lake, service is mainly overpriced and disappointing, but here the staff were professional, helpful, and genuinely kind — helped with taxis, gave great local tips, and shared stories about the hotel and its owner. I like it.

Rooms are clean, renovated (also very rare for the area) , with big balconies and good air conditioning. Not fully soundproof, but other guests were respectful, so it was peaceful. Excellent cleaning service with fresh towels daily.

The pool was my favorite spot. Cold and enough space for all guests.
Breakfasts were great — tasty coffee, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Free bikes (including one with a child seat) were perfect for exploring. The restaurant is busy every night, but service is fast, prices fair, oysters unforgettable, and the wine list impressive.

And the best review comes from my son, when I asked him what he liked most, he said: “The little shower for my bum.” I 100% agree.

The location was great, just by the lake and a walking distance to Bardolino and Garda. The rooms were very clean, well designed and the view was amazing. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and the staff was nice and helpful. The hotel has bikes for guests use and a nice swimming pool. There is a very good restaurant in the hotel and there is also free parking. We had 4 rooms so I can say that the rooms in the main building with the porch to the lake were the best, as the pictures show.

Be careful — items went missing

Some of our personal belongings went missing during our stay. The hotel claimed nothing was found, which raises concerns about security and staff reliability.

We won’t be coming back and don’t recommend this hotel. Keep your valuables safe!

This hotel is amazing and we had a wonderful holiday here. The pool is in a lovely, relaxing area. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and we ate there every night! Can't praise the hotel highly enough.

Rooms cleaned every day, cleaners friendly. Some staff were friendly and approachable. Some not so. Room stated river view, however this was completely blocked by overgrown trees.

From the moment we arrived staff, especially Dominic, was very helpful. The few minor issues we had were resolved more or less immediately! Breakfast great. The use of free bikes was a bonus. Excellent location.

Over the road from Lake. Lovely restaurant. Walking distance to Bardolino Centre and Lasize. Free bike rental with lots of bikes. So relaxing.

We really enjoyed our week stay at hotel Maximilian, lovely location 10/15min walk from bardolino along the water front and 5mins from the little cisano in the opposite direction, restaurant which is part of the hotel is brilliant and very lucky to have it on the premises always bus my which can only be a good sign. Staff are friendly and rooms clean with lovely view of the lake, would definitely come back.
