Hotel Columbus in Caorle

First and foremost, I am writing this review to give hotel people the opportunity to improve the way they work. In general, most of the staff is friendly and also helpful.
Our family has been going to this hotel for a long time, unfortunately the change of ownership has had a very negative effect.
I booked a hotel room, specified the number of people and got a fixed price suggested for it. The room is then paid directly at the hotel on the last day. The invoice is very complicated, so that at the beginning both receptionists could not tell me how the price is calculated. I then paid an additional daily fee for a crib, which was never in the room during our stay. When I reserve a room for a certain number of people I find it outrageous and incomprehensible how one can demand an additional fee for a crib without feedback, as this is not an additional service!
Please do not charge hidden costs in the future and generate invoices, which are comprehensible and simple such that people (including you) do also understand them!!

My feedback is made with good intentions and I hope it will help the owners think about making some non expensive improvements.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the cleaning ladies make their job really well, the view from the balcony was amazing.
At 08:45 am we could only eat some rests left from the breakfast, although they serve breakfast until 09:30.
The air conditioning stinks and it blows directly to the bed, so it was unusable.
A heavy smell of drainage came from the bathroom.
The drinks were extremely expensive.
There was no fridge and the WiFi was disconnecting every 1-3 minutes on the day we tried to use it.

Poor quality, no fridge, bad smell, breakfast as bad as never seen.
