Reviews
Our room boasted amazing views of the lake. While the room itself was on the smaller side, it wasn’t an issue at all — with so much to see and do, we weren't looking to spend much time in the room! This minor detail didn’t detract from our overall experience.
We’ll definitely be back
Marco and his staff were very helpful during our stay. Rooms spotlessly clean.
Should be rated higher than 3 ⭐
Would definitely go back.
On reading the hotel rules you cannot put anything in the mini bar as it will be removed by the maids and any plastic has to be removed by yourself not the maids regarding bottled water.
On the first morning at breakfast we noticed all the tables at the window with the beautiful view were reserved we asked Marco could we sit there as they were all empty we were told they are all reserved we said what do we need to do to get one of those tables the answer was we will see if someone leaves, we were their for one week and very few people sat on those tables most people came to this hotel for 2-3days we were never asked to sit there the night before we left we asked at reception why were all those tables reserved who were they for and she said the hotel has them reserved for returning visitors I made it clear that this was extremely disappointing we have never came across this in any hotel and we have traveled extensively, later she said tomorrow when you are leaving we could give you the window table I think that ship had sailed so we declined.
The air conditioning wasn’t adequate you are awake half the night with the heat and it actually goes off completely during the night.
There is also no public toilet in the hotel so you have to go up to your room all the time which is a pain.
Everyone loves Gelato but do not think of eating it on the entrance or at the reception as there are signs all over to tell you not to do so.
On the up side Antonio was very funny and professional as our waiter always aware when people are trying to sleep on the decking
And not disturbing people unlike Marco who constantly was fooling around loudly with guests which was embarrassing to watch and having no concern for those trying to sleep.
Overall this hotel is looking to squeeze as much money from guests as possible to the point of upsetting them. We are a couple that actually looks for people to tip but very few deserving.
The area is super but way too many rules we know this won’t stop people booking but I would check the reviews prior to doing so.
We certainly would never return.

He has made everything by his self. The restaurant view is enchanting, you can see the sun shining on the lake water and it seem to be the perfect place for couples and honey moon, the big plus is the swimming pool with jacuzzi right on the private beach and the private sun deck chairs that offer another wonderful lake view.
I had a great opinion in a such so little time time, and I have loved the clean floor in the hall and at the restaurant.
Great job. Wish you all the best.
Night is settling in. The peace and serenity of listening to the gentle lapping of the waves below us, the ducks gently cooing; a piece of heaven, while folks enjoy their dinner one floor up, the sweet smell of wood fires from all the local restaurantes.
Hertz offered me a step up to a SUV which I gracefully declined. Where we have driven so far, no thank you. Go with the smaller cars to navigate some of the intimate streets of these beautiful Italian towns. I like their roundabouts which eliminates the need for red lights and stopping traffic. Everybody just goes. Mamma Mia! We love Italia. So glad we worked very hard to obtain our dual Italian Citizenship through my grandfather who immigrated to America from Quero, Italy in 1912. Thanks, grandpap!
