Front desk is a complete disaster, room descriptions by staff are entirely inaccurate.
My advice to all Best Western gold, platinum or diamond members: Avoid this hotel at all costs.
I had a very spacious and clean room. The room had Mini safe, coffee/tea maker, fridge, black out curtains. Nice bathroom with toiletries provided.Liked the nice touches, slipper, bathrobe etc. Room was quiet with little noise from outside.
Nice sitting areas inside and out.
Some people may prefer to be a bit closer to the city/Arena as its a 35 min walk, but it wasn't an issue for me. The hotel is not far from the train station 20 min walk. Personally I think its a good base to explore the city and would happily stay here on my next visit.
However, worker at the front desk is unkind at all. I don’t know where she is from, but she acts like rasist. Because English is my second language, I’m not able to listen what she said at once. So I asked her to say her word again, and she raised her tone as she wanted to express her annoyance. I felt disrespectful from her attitude, and if I need to visit Verona again, I’ll find other accommodation even though all good points I mentioned at first.
