Had a very warm welcome. The hotel is a little dated, but was clean. Super friendly and helpful staff and a very large continental breakfast. There were cute tiny olive oil bottles, which was very appreciated. The coffee is a self-serve machine and there was canteen serve for all manner of hot foods, lots of bakery variety. I really enjoyed my one night stay after missing a flight at Verona airport...

Rooms were great and the staff too. Close to the Verona train station. But a 20min walk to the main proper. And weirdly, my room was very dusty. So I was sneezing non stop. Not sound proof too. Could hear entire conversation of the room next to me.

Good hotel for the price, but staff refused to offer early check-in (even if it was only 1 hour early) and said it costs 50€. Also, there are no plugs near the beds!

Clean room and helpful staff. The location isn’t close to the city center, and although there’s a shuttle service, it’s not the most convenient if you plan to visit the city often, but that’s understandable. Other than that, it’s a good hotel with everything you need. When I checked out, they mistakenly added a minibar charge I hadn’t used, but it was quickly resolved.

Not very satisfied. There were people running in the gym early in the morning. It was very noisy. The only solution I could ask the staff to solve it was to say sorry.

The room was not as upto our expectations. There was no vanity in the room, the bed was very stiff and the bathroom was very small, especially the shower space. The lift itself was very slow and there was chlorine like smell in the hallways

The hotel is so nice, the staff is amazing and helpful. It’s very quiet, it has windows, you can hear the birds singing, it’s very quiet. Only few mins to the center walking and they also have a parking for 10 euros the night which is good because finding parking is hard. We loved our stay there and we would go back if we visitVerona

This is not a 4 star hotel. Worst food I’ve ever seen. There is nothing edible in the breakfast buffet unless you are into cold cheap crap! Also the spa was closed the entire time. Disappointed… at least it’s nice inside and rooms are decent. Defo find somewhere else to stay.

It’s not in the city centre but in the exhibition centre area. No worries getting to the Arena is easy and fast by car. Rooms are ok could do with a refurbishing but the showers are brand new. Good choice breakfast. Beware of the coach loads of pensioners hoarding the buffet at 7AM 😎

It’s a really good hotel, especially if you’re coming there with your own car, but located quite far away from city centre (about 2-2,5km). There’s a boat that’s going each 12 min to the city, so quite easy to get there

Absolutely love this hotel (especially the hotel cat). Good selection of breakfast available, next to the hotel is a Russian mini market so you can get some snacks. Very close to the bus station and easy transit to the train station.

About 30mins walk to tourists attraction in city center. Lidl is 5 mins walk for grocery shopping. Lobby is a bit dated but the room is renovated.

Excellent hotel not far from the historic center of Verona. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and quite spacious. There's a Lidl supermarket just 300 meters away. The breakfasts were fantastic and delicious. At the front desk, they offered us a map and marked all the main attractions in Verona. I highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent Hotel for business travelers.

There is no soundproofing at all, you can hear people going to the toilet. It is almost impossible to regulate the temperature in the room. It is very cold and there are no blankets. Poor breakfast.

Great option to stay if you are going to travel by train.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was phenomenal! We have a large family so we like to find places that include breakfast and this one was amazing! Room seemed clean and we had a nice and cool nights sleep. A little out of the way from the city center (maybe 30-35 min walk?) but, it was only a 15 min walk from the train station. Our family doesn’t mind the walking so it was good for us!

Good sized room and well appointed -- super helpful staff -- while away from the city center, the hourly van service to city center was a real bonus.

If you are driving, I highly recommend this hotel. It is right on the road, next to a gas station. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is large. It costs 10 euros a night, which is acceptable. The environment is also good. The front desk staff speaks good English and can understand it. It is only a ten-minute drive from the hotel to Verona city.

It's just very old and needs modernization. Employees are amazing, however breakfast was horrible with awful pastries and cold eggs.

I expected better for the price. Whilst clean, the AC was not performing well. The bed was terrible ~ super hard mattress (if that suits you then you’ll be happy). Overall the hotel rooms are tired and in desperate need of transportation to today. Only one power point was working there charging our phones was a challenge.

The room was a bit old but it was a self-contained suite. The hygiene was good, and I slept very well. It was nice to have a microwave, induction hob, and cutlery available.

The reception staff members were not particularly friendly. If the luggage storage is unguarded, it should be communicated to guests upon booking.

It was our second stay in Corte San Mattia and this time we celebrated our wedding there. The experience exceeded all of our expectations. A wonderful bed & breakfast near heart of Verona The property is a beautifully renovated house, very close to the historic centre of Verona; an easy 14 to 15 minutes walk to the famous Arena, 20 to 25 minutes walk to the Duomo, with good neighbourhood restaurants only a few minutes away. Verona is a beautiful and interesting old city but was made especially affective by staying here. Located overlooking the river and bridge into the old city it’s a great location.
