Hotel Leon d'Oro, Verona1 / 26

Verona, Viale Piave 5 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Had a very warm welcome. The hotel is a little dated, but was clean. Super friendly and helpful staff and a very large continental breakfast. There were cute tiny olive oil bottles, which was very appreciated. The coffee is a self-serve machine and there was canteen serve for all manner of hot foods, lots of bakery variety. I really enjoyed my one night stay after missing a flight at Verona airport...
Nice place to say. No complaints
Rooms were great and the staff too. Close to the Verona train station. But a 20min walk to the main proper. And weirdly, my room was very dusty. So I was sneezing non stop. Not sound proof too. Could hear entire conversation of the room next to me.
Lovely spot. 4 km walk from train station. Room and bathroom were great. Breakfast was soo worth it. Staff spoke great English and were very helpful.
I've had a super relaxing few days in the hotel, a brief visit just before Christmas. The rooms are big and the beds even bigger and wonderfully comfortable. The complimentary items are plentiful and a nice treat. The hotel is very clean and maintained very well, with high quality features. Sky TV is a welcome addition. The breakfast is varied and caters for all tastes and is served in a room, which...
Good hotel for the price, but staff refused to offer early check-in (even if it was only 1 hour early) and said it costs 50€. Also, there are no plugs near the beds!

Verona, Via Belgio 16 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Clean room and helpful staff. The location isn’t close to the city center, and although there’s a shuttle service, it’s not the most convenient if you plan to visit the city often, but that’s understandable. Other than that, it’s a good hotel with everything you need. When I checked out, they mistakenly added a minibar charge I hadn’t used, but it was quickly resolved.
Not very satisfied. There were people running in the gym early in the morning. It was very noisy. The only solution I could ask the staff to solve it was to say sorry.
The hotel was overall good. Clean, good services including free transportation to the center of Verona and back to the hotel. The location was also good, at least for us.
Checked out before 12am, don't know why, around 10:30am, the hotel cleaner opened the door 3 times without knocking🙄 The flowers downstairs of the hotel are beautiful, you can see the flowers while having breakfast💐
Everything is fine. Adigeo is nearby. Breakfasts leave much to be desired.
Nice , comfortable rooms. Good continental breakfast with a large selection of fresh fruit, teas, and so on. Very kind staff. Good location for the fiera zone but it's also near to the centre (4/5 km far). Nice gym zone and swimming pool on the 9th floor

8.0
Verona, Via Carlo Belviglieri, 42 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's hygiene was mediocre.
The hotel says it is a good location to start the city discover, but it is too far. Price is ok, this was the main reason the hotel was chosen. It can be reached by bus from central station or city center, but with heavy luggage really uncomfortable because the bus station is in 300 meters and the surface of the streets is old and partly damaged. Breakfast is ok, have enough, a lot of Chinees people...
Its ok, the old hotel, nice location and parking
Room is big with fancy decorations but some places still have many dust. Got small fridge , only 1 lift is working when we reached. 1.5km away from train station which is not really convenient by walking because the roas not really smooth, hurts your luggage
We arrived at the hotel last night. There was a front desk clerk named Khalil who was really nice. The check-in went smoothly and quickly. He arranged a nice room for us and also took care of the parking garage.
Big old hotel needs maintenance Not nice smell at reception Good breakfast Room size good

Verona, Via Baldassarre Longhena, 42, Borgo Milano (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was not as upto our expectations. There was no vanity in the room, the bed was very stiff and the bathroom was very small, especially the shower space. The lift itself was very slow and there was chlorine like smell in the hallways
The hotel is so nice, the staff is amazing and helpful. It’s very quiet, it has windows, you can hear the birds singing, it’s very quiet. Only few mins to the center walking and they also have a parking for 10 euros the night which is good because finding parking is hard. We loved our stay there and we would go back if we visitVerona
This is not a 4 star hotel. Worst food I’ve ever seen. There is nothing edible in the breakfast buffet unless you are into cold cheap crap! Also the spa was closed the entire time. Disappointed… at least it’s nice inside and rooms are decent. Defo find somewhere else to stay.
Nice property,close to city Center,20 min walking,nice amenities,great breakfast
General ok charge garage extra 15 min walk to center / 25 min to arrena di Verona Nice breakfast no extras like ham and eggs sunny side up
The hotel is kinda dated, you can see and feel that it’s in need of a refresh but the rooms are spacious and clean. The location is okay, you can walk 20min or take the bus/taxi to the historical center. We didn’t go to the spa since it was 25€ extra but the outside pool was all we needed. The highlight of the hotel is the staff, reception and bar are kind and ready to help. Our plane was cancelled...

Great location. Newly renovated room, very clean, very close to the city center.
Lovely hotel. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast and well positioned for the centre of town and train station.
Very convenient location of the hotel, close to the center and dinning only 10-12 min walk. Spa access is not included into the reservation of the room. Very close to train station. Love experience of exploring beautiful Verona!

Supermarket nearby. Bus station in front of the hotel. Big bed. Furniture a bit old. Nice staff and you can ask for extra amenities at the reception without cost. 40 min walk to city center
Clean and spacious room situated about 30 minutes walk from the centre of Verona. Bus service available. Staff were friendly and helpful, reception is open 24 hours which is great for late arrivals. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Verona
It’s not in the city centre but in the exhibition centre area. No worries getting to the Arena is easy and fast by car. Rooms are ok could do with a refurbishing but the showers are brand new. Good choice breakfast. Beware of the coach loads of pensioners hoarding the buffet at 7AM 😎
It’s a really good hotel, especially if you’re coming there with your own car, but located quite far away from city centre (about 2-2,5km). There’s a boat that’s going each 12 min to the city, so quite easy to get there
Room is clear and comfortable, thanks to nice location, can take bus to downtown easily. However, worker at the front desk is unkind at all. I don’t know where she is from, but she acts like rasist. Because English is my second language, I’m not able to listen what she said at once. So I asked her to say her word again, and she raised her tone as she wanted to express her annoyance. I felt disrespectful...

Great breakfast, location, and service! I will come back when i visit Verona again.

Nice, clean hotel with a couple of good restaurants nearby. Difficulty with the heating and cooling of the room; had to leave the window open to cool it - could not control the temperature. It was winter time so AC was not required it was a matter of less heating. I lost our room key and, according to the hotel rules, it is a 30 Euro charge for a new, plastic room key. This is not noted when booking...
Excellent Very clean & comfortable, great breakfast, close to the train station.
Good location between the station and the old city. Lovely modern hotel with spacious rooms. Only offers breakfast (excellent) but close enough to city bars and restaurants.
Clean and sanitary, good environment
The room was very clean, the ladies and gentlemen at the reception were very accommodating and explained the city map very well to us regarding the sights. Breakfast was very good.

Excellent hotel not far from the historic center of Verona. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and quite spacious. There's a Lidl supermarket just 300 meters away. The breakfasts were fantastic and delicious. At the front desk, they offered us a map and marked all the main attractions in Verona. I highly recommend this hotel!
25 minutes walk from Verona old town, very big and comfortable beds, delicious breakfast with lots of options. Hotel really clean and well maintained. Free undergound car park.
Excellent Hotel for business travelers.
There is no soundproofing at all, you can hear people going to the toilet. It is almost impossible to regulate the temperature in the room. It is very cold and there are no blankets. Poor breakfast.
Room size is OK, location is average, breakfast is decent
Hotel Palace Verona is a fantastic hotel with spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Great location with easy access to the city. Highly recommended – would happily stay again!

Great option to stay if you are going to travel by train.
Staff was very friendly, breakfast was phenomenal! We have a large family so we like to find places that include breakfast and this one was amazing! Room seemed clean and we had a nice and cool nights sleep. A little out of the way from the city center (maybe 30-35 min walk?) but, it was only a 15 min walk from the train station. Our family doesn’t mind the walking so it was good for us!
Good sized room and well appointed -- super helpful staff -- while away from the city center, the hourly van service to city center was a real bonus.
Lovely hotel with a bed for the evening situated on the outskirts of Verona with good bus links into the city centre and train station. Good continental breakfast to set you up for the day, what else would you need.
Very concerning cleanliness, saw a big fly inside food refrigerated cabinet.
Perfect hotel room for business trip and Vinitaly I stayed in Verona for Vinitaly so the location of Hotel San Pietro is very convenient. It takes 15 minutes to talk to downtown. Service, breakfast, travel suggestion are excellent. Hotel and room itself is basic and clean. Do not expect a luxury resort but it is more like a home in Verona. Very impressed with hotel and staff. Will definitely be returning when in town.
Clean, comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff at check-in and check-out. Quiet at night. Zero complaints. Would stay again.
I liked everything, good breakfast, clean. The staff is professional.
It was clean, staff was very nice and helpful with everything. Rooms were cleaned daily, which is good. The sockets in my room weren’t working on the first night, but they fixed it very quickly. The food options in the restaurant wasn’t too good but otherwise, everything else was excellent.
If you are driving, I highly recommend this hotel. It is right on the road, next to a gas station. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is large. It costs 10 euros a night, which is acceptable. The environment is also good. The front desk staff speaks good English and can understand it. It is only a ten-minute drive from the hotel to Verona city.

The room was a bit old but it was a self-contained suite. The hygiene was good, and I slept very well. It was nice to have a microwave, induction hob, and cutlery available.
The reception staff members were not particularly friendly. If the luggage storage is unguarded, it should be communicated to guests upon booking.
The hotel is a bit old and dated; the rooms are just about 3-star level.
Clean and tidy, with a kettle and complimentary bottled water. The front desk staff were nice.
This is a hotel that has everything tourists like me need. But if you want a memorable European hotel stay this might not be the one. If convenience is your top priority stay here.

My stay at Hotel Accademia in Verona was truly excellent. The hotel boasts an extraordinary location in the heart of the historic center, allowing easy walking access to iconic sites like the Verona Arena and Juliet's House in just a few minutes. The property exudes timeless elegance, combining classic Italian charm with refined comfort. The room was impeccably clean, very well-maintained, and tastefully...
The location and check in experience were really smooth. I really recommend if you prefer to stay in in the heart of verona with in walking distance to reach every where.
My wife was on a business trip and needed a quiet place to work on her computer. The hotel had numerous rooms fully set up for quiet work, and for small and large gatherings as well. All in the fantastic heart of beautiful Verona, steps away from all the major tourist spots. We are already looking forward to our return here next year!
A perfect hotel. The best four-star hotel in Verona, right between Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Bra in the city center, only a hundred meters away from the former residence of Giulia. At this hotel, you are only 5 minutes walk from everything you need to see. The reception is welcoming, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was what you need. Easier to get to from the railway station and then you are right in the heart of the city. I would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel within Juliet’s courtyard, even got a key to enter the locked gate outside of public hours- so cool! Cozy and stunning room with complimentary drinks! Would only stay here if we came back. Loved.
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! Decorated beautifully, amazing location and endlessly helpful and friendly staff.
Well decorated, clean, and large room. Staff was friendly and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. Hotel was located in convenient area. There is a hot tub available for guests, but it must be booked in advance through reservations and requires a small fee.
Was a wanderful stay. Staff was so kind. Room was wonderful. We loved the extra amenities. They pay special attention to detail and made sure our stay was perfect.
If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would: what an incredible institution. Staff were first class. Couldn’t do enough. Rooms were fitted to perfection with all you would need. Perfect location: loved being privileged to view Juliet balcony and statue without the crowds. Will definitely recommend and return: iron and ironing board available on request

Beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful with great recommendations for restaurants, navigating the city, etc.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Love the opportunity to just walk to nearby Piazzas Great experience
It's just very old and needs modernization. Employees are amazing, however breakfast was horrible with awful pastries and cold eggs.
I expected better for the price. Whilst clean, the AC was not performing well. The bed was terrible ~ super hard mattress (if that suits you then you’ll be happy). Overall the hotel rooms are tired and in desperate need of transportation to today. Only one power point was working there charging our phones was a challenge.

I cannot fault anything about the hotel. It was excellent. The room was huge.clean and well equiped. Breakfast was all it could be and the staff very helpfull.Anyone staying just needs to be aware that to get into Verona you need to use a car,bus or taxi or its a long walk by a busy road.
Nice mid budget hotel. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Not far from busline. Clean room, eating area and lobby. Outdoor fron would benefit from a little sweep up and maybe a few plants. Francesca at front desk was marvelous! Room was good roomy clean with a little balcony. Just needed extra pillow and blanket.

Relais Fra Lorenzo is overall a very nice hotel, perfectly located and overlooking the city with beautiful views. The outdoor pool makes it especially appealing in summer, and the service throughout is warm and friendly. Parking being included is a real plus. The main downside is breakfast, which felt underwhelming for the price point, and while the rooms have an antique charm, they could be better...
I highly recommend the hotel which has a nice panoramico view. The breakfast is awesome. They kindly gave us away a bottle of local olive. And there is a good shuttle bus service.

Amazing property, we had a view of Juliet balcony from our apartment. Very helpful and communicative staff. Just off one of the main thoroughfares so quiet but right in the middle of things. Will definitely visit again
I absolutely loved this place – it's simply amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.
