The sauna, open-air bath, beautiful scenery and temperature outside were the best experiences. After the bath, you can relax in the big room called the rest room. The food is a buffet and there are too many dishes

We stayed here after hiking Mount Kitayokodake. There were many families with children. I've been on weekdays before, and if you choose your time carefully, the baths and restaurant aren't too crowded

Nice hotel with beautiful hot springs. Both dinner and breakfast were great, although quite a lot of people. Also, it’s a family hotel, so if you don’t like being surrounded by children, cannot recommend.

We chose this facility because it had a large kids' area. In fact, our child played in the kids' park until the very last minute, and we were able to let him play plenty inside the facility as well

Both the buffet dinner and breakfast (first thing in the morning as they get crowded) were delicious and very satisfying! The large public bath and open-air bath were easy to use and relaxing

I stayed in a twin room on September 1, 2025. It was very busy with tourists, and the front desk was congested. The food buffet was more about quantity than quality, so I ended up overeating

The location is great, with many shops nearby. I recommend staying at a hotel here.

The rooms were a good size and very clean. Free parking is available, which is great for travelers with cars. The hotel also has a hot spring, but unfortunately we couldn't use it this time.

This is a popular hotel that is always fully booked. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes and is delicious. And although the bath isn't particularly large, I love the panoramic view from the top floor!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The bath was amazing! The single bed was spacious and comfortable.

The snowy hot spring view was beautiful, and the hotel food was delicious and very healthy, great for digestion. They have private onsen baths that you can reserve for solo use, but you can only book them after check-in

So, I'd recommend arriving a bit earlier to secure a better time slot. We arrived closer to 8 PM, which was a bit late, and all the private baths for that evening were booked

I'd give it more points if I could. I think this is my best experience with a hotel so far. Everything was excellent from the beginning to the end. I am in love with the place and long to be back again someday

Staying for two consecutive nights even gets you a complimentary lunch. The hot springs are relaxing and offer beautiful views, and the service is incredibly thoughtful

The annex has a spa and pool, making it easy to get around. There are no convenience stores nearby, so you'll need to buy food at the station. Tokyu Resort across the street is a 5-minute walk away

His food was first rate! We asked for his recommendations from his menu. His specialty dish eggplant and pork was fantastic. His Naan bread is the best I've ever had. Light and fluffy, right off the grill

The food was so good and the experience was so delightful we came back for a second dinner. We had spinach, curry and lamb. Mr Singh even made us a walnut and raisin Naan to take away for breakfast

I was a little disappointed that the massage machine in the relaxation area near the bath and the coffee in the lobby had to be paid for, but I was satisfied because the staff were so friendly

Wonderful ryoken with amazing meals

Beautiful classic guesthouse with amazing service and great food. The price is a steal! We had ~10 people staying there for running around the lake, and the hotel graciously set out a table and tent to hold our drinks

For dinner, we had Shinshu beef sukiyaki, trout sashimi, and soba noodles. It wasn't too much, but it was just right. Breakfast wasn't extravagant, but it was satisfying. The tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet) was delicious

I was a little worried because there were terrible reviews when I thought that there was a perfect score, but when I went there, the owner had a very nice atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the facilities were clean and satisfied

The large hot spring bath was in a separate building, quite far away, but as soon as I moved to the separate building, it was made of modern concrete with art works hanging on it, suggesting that it was built much later than the main building
