My husband and I stayed at Auberge Yusura to celebrate a special occasion and visit Ise Jingu, and we are truly glad we chose this ryokan. From our arrival, the hospitality was exceptional. The property is managed in a very professional manner with multiple staff members ready to assist, but the warmth of the hostess left the strongest impression. She welcomed us with genuine kindness and made us feel comfortable from the beginning to the end of our stay. Her attentiveness was of a level we have rarely experienced, even after staying at many ryokan and onsen in Kyushu, Yakushima, Miyajima, Hiroshima, Matsue, and Koyasan. The location is excellent—only about a 15-minute drive from Ise Jingu—yet the surroundings are peaceful on the bank of a river, allowing us to relax in the outdoor private onsen attached to our room. Both dinner and breakfast were elegant and delicious to a palate that had enjoyed several Michelin starred restaurants during the trip. We are sincerely grateful for the memorable experience and recommend Auberge Yusura to anyone visiting the Ise area, especially for a special occasion.

We visited Ise Grand Shrine and combined our honeymoon.

Since each room was built individually, we were able to relax and unwind.

The open-air bath had such smooth, delicious water that we ended up soaking in it multiple times.

Breakfast was also delicious, and dinner in particular was especially delicious. Local ingredients were used, and you could really feel the love that went into every dish.

They also had a wide selection of non-alcoholic options, so even those who don't drink much alcohol could enjoy them.

The landlady and all the staff were so cheerful and kind, and their hospitality was so wonderful it warmed my heart.

The singing by the landlady and the female staff was amazing.

I'd like to stay again in a different season.

Thank you for letting me have such a wonderful day.

I stayed at this inn while visiting Ise Grand Shrine.

I was very satisfied with both the room and the food, but even more so was the exceptional service and hospitality from the landlady and all the other staff. The service was warm and welcoming, not stiff, and dinner was a delight from start to finish.

The meal was a kaiseki course using ingredients from Mie Prefecture, featuring abalone, Matsusaka beef, and conger eel, all of which were elaborately prepared. The broth in the conger eel soup was the best of all. It was a shame we couldn't try the spiny lobster because it was closed season, but I'll look forward to it on my next visit.

The alcohol selection ranged from local beer to sake, and there was a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks, including many refreshing options that didn't overpower the food, rather than the typical sweet ones. The sparkling green tea had a strong tea aroma and was delicious. My companion, who doesn't drink alcohol, enjoyed choosing from the wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks available, making it enjoyable even for those with a low alcohol tolerance.

All the rooms are in separate buildings, so it's very quiet and you can enjoy the sounds of nature. Each room also has an open-air bath, so you can soak in the hot springs as many times as you like. I think I went in five or six times!

They also provide a shuttle from the nearest station, so you don't need a car.

I was very satisfied with my one night stay in every way. Next time, I'd like to stay at least two nights. I'll definitely be returning!

I stayed here to visit Ise Grand Shrine.
I don't think there's any better accommodation in the area. The rooms, food, and service were all top-notch.

What particularly impressed me was the service.
We have two children, and they were loved by everyone. It's not uncommon for only the landlady or certain other people to be loved, but everyone at the accommodation loved them.

I recently lost my father, so when I had a photo of him with me while we were eating, they even gave me an offering in his honor, which was very touching.

Whenever I visit Ise Grand Shrine, I'll definitely stay here again. I hope to see you again next year.

On the second night of our 5th wedding anniversary, we stayed at this Japanese auberge that my wife found for us. The 5 villas are limited to 5 groups per day, so it's very private. The beds were twin, Simmons (the same as ours), Japanese-style, and the newest and largest room, "Keyaki," had an open-air bath and an indoor bath at the famous Sakakibara Onsen, but we had to reheat the water. Everything in the refrigerator is free (・∀・) Nice!! Although it's along Route 42, "Keyaki" is at the very back, so it was very quiet (it was raining that day, so we only heard the sound of the rain) and we could only hear the two of us. *The only drawback of the room was that the glass door to the open-air bath, which is a little further away and across the garden, could be opened in the opposite direction. Every time, we entered from the garden without opening the door. Before dinner, we took a leisurely soak in the open-air bath ♨ It felt like we were always in hot springs (lol) And then, the long-awaited dinner. Usually, when you think of an auberge, you think of Western food, but this was Japanese food prepared by someone who trained in Kyoto 😲 We ordered our favorite abalone steak kaiseki 🐚 We made the usual toast with an aperitif containing gold flakes, and then we ordered a unique beer called Neko Nihiki (two cats) 🍻 We also ordered sake. Appetizer: Softly simmered abalone, accompanied by freshly drawn yuba and grilled sea urchin, a nice dish Appetizer: A plate filled with anago chawanmushi, scallops dressed in zunda paste, etc. The anago chawanmushi was really delicious, and of course the scallops dressed in zunda paste were delicious, but the tableware was also amazing 👏👏👏 Soup: Thin kudzu sauce. The mild flavor of the sillago, winter melon, and grilled eggplant matches well with the richness of the sake. Sashimi: Natural flounder, tiger prawns, black abalone, garnish. My favorite black abalone is marinated in abalone liver soy sauce. It's just irresistible 👏👏👏 Appetizer: Eel decorated sushi. I think it's farmed, but it's so yummy~~~ Grilled dish: The long-awaited abalone steak. It can't compete with the black abalone steak from Baysut, but abalone is still so yummy~~~😋 Rice dish: Wakasa sea bream simmered in oroshi. The sea bream is a great marriage of grated daikon radish and dashi stock. The final dish is corn rice, red clam soup, and pickles. For dessert, they included a message for my wife 🙌 As expected from someone who trained in Kyoto, everything was lightly seasoned and it was a wonderful dinner 👏👏👏 For midnight snack, we had sushi rolls 🍣 For breakfast, the charcoal-grilled seaweed was delicious, and the rolled omelet was GOOD. We weren't allowed to have extra seaweed 😥 However, considering that it is an auberge, the breakfast was extremely cheap... One thing that bothered me was that in the evening and in the morning, even when they saw the empty bowls, they never said "Shall I have another one?", but the landlady was working really hard so I guess it all washed out (lol) The landlady was working too hard so I was a little put off 😅 But overall it was a wonderful inn (人''▽`)Thank you☆

I stayed last year.
The open-air bath with a room was comfortable, and I took a luxurious bath after waking up.

The food was delicious no matter what I ate, and some children didn't like it.
If the rice served in Ohitsu is delicious and you have finished eating it, your weight will be ...

I was truly satisfied with the warm response from all the staff, led by the landlady.

I want to stay again.

Thank you for staying at "Kaede" for one night. I took the open-air bath many times. All the dishes tasted good to us and were very delicious. I was greedy, so I enjoyed the spiny lobster, Matsusaka beef, and abalone steak. Since there are only 3 rooms (buildings) in this auberge, I will come to stay at either Sakura or Tochi next time.
We would like to thank all the inns for their kindness.

I visited Futamiokitama Shrine on a leisurely walk. We were warmly welcomed, spent a relaxing time in a comfortable room, and had a very delicious dinner.
I became a big fan of cooking and the landlady.

* Please be aware of two points. Also, please note that it will be described as a personal impression.
1. The contents of 2019. Although it is described objectively, the service etc. may differ at present.
2. The contents of the menu may differ depending on the season, so the contents may differ slightly.

I think that it is the best facility as an impression.
When you arrive at a nearby station from the space of the room (if it is a train), you can pick up and drop off, and the facilities and amenities are very substantial.

Supper is also based on Japanese food, but I was very satisfied with the ingenuity of being able to enjoy local ingredients regardless of the pattern.

Also, I was surprised at the service, but the menu paper with the name of the person who made the reservation printed on it at the time of meal was different at dinner on the day of stay, but it was corrected and written the next day.
I was impressed by the high level of service that I was able to notice without any offer from here. (Because the notation of old characters is complicated, I often make a mistake)
Even at check-out, I was still impressed by the transfer to the nearest station and the fact that the proprietress waved her hand with a big smile and saw her off until she disappeared.

It's been a long sentence, but it was a place where I would like to go first again when the current situation where I have to refrain from doing so is over.

The hearty food was a wonderful and favorite taste. The garden and customer service were good.
