A superb traditional ryokan, with a room overlooking the sea. The baths are relaxing, and the lady who runs the place is extremely attentive and kind (thank you so much!). I highly recommend it; we had a wonderful time. And for the geeks among you, the Alien and Predator statues are super impressive.

Very nice stay, peaceful place, the lady is so nice it made me want to learn Japanese to thank her better than I did

Everything is very
A bit small for normal rooms
Because we arrived on the first night
So it's just a place to sleep.
Breakfast is OK
But it will be crowded if you start later.
So eat early

I love the vintage style of the property but still with a lot of character with the life size Alien and Predator standee and small display figures.

It was comfortable.

It was cold inside the building, and even with the heating on it felt a little chilly indoors.

They had hot water in the room, so when I tried to use it in the morning it was lukewarm, so I called to ask for hotter water but no one answered, and when I went to reception there was no one there, and when I called the number that was written for those who had business here no one answered.

It seemed like there were no staff in the building at all.
I wonder how long they had been gone? It was my first time staying at such an accommodation and I was surprised.

A woman who appeared to be in her 80s seemed to be handling the reception and cleaning, the window glass in the room looked like it hadn't been wiped in years, and there was a hairpin on the desk in the reception room that I didn't know belonged to. Yes, the desk was also covered in dust.
The tea was powdered, but when I poured hot water into it, it turned brown instead of green, so I didn't drink it.

I couldn't watch the TV because it hadn't even been set up for the first time.

The bathroom was filthy with hair stuck in the drain.

There is only one convenience store nearby, and there are almost no places to eat.

Since the customers are elderly, I have not reported any direct complaints.

I think the location is good for going to Meotoiwa.

I was able to borrow a hair dryer, but it was weak, so I thought it would be better to bring your own if you were concerned about it.
The restaurant is not specialized for overnight stays, but the restaurant across the street is a restaurant, so I didn't have to worry about that.
The toilet in the room did not have a washlet, but the toilet in the hallway did.
What was especially good about it was that the grandmother was there as the hostess, and I think her young daughter became attached to her and had some fun memories of her trip.
No matter what the facility is, if I can come again, I would like to come see my grandma and watch her daughter grow together.

My personal opinion is,

The landlady's grandchildren (?) were making loud noises and having fun in the hallway for about 30 minutes starting around 8 pm.
I was tired from work, so I had already fallen asleep and was planning to get up early in the morning to work, but I woke up to the loud voices of my grandchildren.

The landlady also gently warned me, ``Let's not do this because it would cause trouble for the customers,'' but there was no sign of it stopping, and I couldn't resist, so she left the room and said, ``Sorry, I'm sleeping, so please be quiet.'' "Are you here?" I asked gently, and I moved the grandchildren from the hallway to another area.

It's something that small children do, so it can't be helped, and since there weren't many guests, they may have let their grandchildren play in the hallway, but I think that an inn is a place where you can rest your body. As someone who is paying for the service, I find it extremely unpleasant that my sleep was disturbed and the noise continued for a long time after I woke up.

I repeat, this is just my personal opinion.
