Unfortunately this hotel was advertised in their Policies page as "Children not permitted at this hotel". On the strength of this policy, I was expecting an adult venue, with appropriate facilities. The hotel was completely the opposite. I would describe it as a family friendly establishment, which, if this is what you are looking for, it's perfect. Great place for children, lots to explore, the staff were super friendly, but because it was school holidays it was full of children. The best thing was the indoor golf simulator (no children here), but it definitely plays to the right, so adjust your feet by 20 degrees. The location is a bit out of the way, but the shuttle bus is very handy. The restaurant was full, so I missed out on a meal, so take some supplies with you, as there are no shops near by, and there wasn't anything available in the way of snacks. It wasn't one of my better experiences, but the views were amazing!!!

This is an excellent Japanese onsen resort. Some of the Japanese-style rooms have private hot spring baths on their balconies, which are incredibly comfortable and offer great privacy, not to mention a sea view!

The hotel offers exceptionally clean rooms and very attentive service. The dining was also excellent, with both dinner and breakfast served buffet style, offering a wide variety of food. However, some dishes were a bit cold, and I suggest the hotel improve their heating equipment. The three distinct bathhouses were all very clean and well-equipped. There were also many communal areas and activity facilities for guests to enjoy. This hotel provides great value for money and will definitely be my top choice when I visit Toba again. 👍🏻👍🏻

I was incredibly lucky to snag a room for my last-minute reservation, especially since it was right before a three-day weekend! This was my first time visiting Toba, and I traveled by car ferry. The hotel was conveniently located close to the ferry terminal, and the views were absolutely stunning! They had three different baths, and the food was delicious too!! For dinner, the Matsusaka beef Ise Udon was a highlight, and in the morning, the white miso soup with mekabu was so tasty!! I also bought some of the delicious nori tsukudani (seaweed paste) that was served at breakfast from their souvenir shop! And some local sake too!! Everyone was so kind, and the atmosphere was really welcoming and gentle, making me want to stay again. I'll definitely be back!!

The hotel service is very, very quiet environment this time when I stayed very few travelers excellent service, hot springs very comfortable, from indoor and outdoor hot springs, high privacy in the grooming area in the hot springs, JR station has a shuttle bus, very convenient.

The hot spring, dinner, and breakfast were all very satisfying. The buffet-style dinner and breakfast, in particular, were incredibly luxurious with a wide variety of options that would appeal to all ages. Especially the seafood – sashimi, sushi, shrimp, scallops, squid, octopus – so much to choose from! There was also Matsusaka beef hot pot and stew, and a rich selection of fruits and desserts. During dinner, we experienced a minor incident, but we were incredibly impressed by the staff's quick response and thoughtfulness. Truly wonderful hospitality and consideration, and the reassuring feeling that staff in every position share information effectively! I am sincerely grateful. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay at Toba Seaside Hotel again.

There are many hot springs to choose from, and the rooms are huge. Although food isn't included, the price is really reasonable! It's great value for money, but there are no convenience stores nearby, and the nearest supermarket is a 5-minute drive away.
