My non smoking room was actually a former smoking room. Be aware this is an older hotel and you might end up in a stinky room.

Breakfast needs to be improved, everything else is perfect for a short stay in Kobe.

The hotel is in a great location, just across the street from Daimaru Department Store, and surrounded by commercial streets. Nankinmachi is also next door. Luggage can be stored for free in front and back. The downside is that the room is really small.

It was a very delicious morning buffet, but it would have been even better if they had added fukujinzuke to the curry rice.

I like the location very much. It is located at the exit of the Kaigantsu subway. When you come out, you will see the Motomachi business district, the old settlement, and Nanjing Street. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, and you can walk to the Kobe Lighthouse and JR Station.

The price was reasonable, yet the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The facilities were well-equipped, and I was particularly impressed by the wide variety of food and drinks. The staff were also very polite and reassuring.

There are coupons available on the website, so you can stay relatively cheaply. Meals are included free of charge, and the room was relatively spacious despite the low price. There is also a water server, which I was very satisfied with.

This was my second time staying here, and I loved it! I even got to enjoy a bubble bath, which was a real treat. It's so affordable, even on weekends, so I'll definitely be returning!

The bed creaked terribly, but otherwise, I had no complaints.

The value for money was good. Unfortunately, only smoking rooms were available, and the strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke was quite bothersome.

The room had been renovated and was clean. I wish I had the provided kettle and cups. I wanted to send a package to the airport by courier, so I asked the front desk staff, but unfortunately, they didn't seem to understand my request.

I stayed here on a solo trip. The front desk was very friendly and the building was clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it was quiet and I was able to sleep soundly in the calm atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again if I come to Kobe.

The bathroom was renovated and clean. It was a twin room, but there was no table in the room, which was inconvenient. I would have liked a table, even if it was a foldable one. Spacious hotel room, we had the twinbed option. It's lazy but effectively renovated, so the bathroom is nice and the air condition, just the carpet still reminds you of the old days.

Great place and experience if you wanna try a ryokan. Eating kaiseki and sleeping on a futon. Also it was pretty big room with a nice view loggia. For the onsens, I did like the left opened one of a gin water. Although they are switched for male and female thrice a day. It is not necessary to leave it during the day, but if you want to have a stroll, there is Rokko mountain near around.

First, I checked in at a nearby cafe. I was given amenities there. The room was spacious, with a separate shower and toilet, and even a study-like room. Kin no Yu was also nearby, which I was very happy with. It was a great, affordable inn.

Excellent hotel! I really liked the service, the room was large, everything was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Check-in is in the cafe, so check the website to avoid getting lost.

Check-in is at a coffee shop, where the staff will tell you where your accommodation is. It's very close to the Golden Hot Springs, and they provide bathrobes for you to change into upon arrival. The accommodations were excellent, and I'd definitely stay here again if I were to return to Arima.

I was a little worried at first because check-in and check-out were done at a nearby cafe, but the explanations were easy to understand and it wasn't as inconvenient as I thought it would be. I was surprised that the walls were thin and I could clearly hear the sound of the toilet paper being rolled and flushed in the next room. We really loved our stay. The host was great, everything was clean and cozy. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Not a bad option, overall is okay for backpacker. But quite not friendly for those who are old and big body size because their bath room is quite small and the stair is quite dangerous.

The location is very convenient, just one stop from San Gong in the city center. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even helped with luggage upstairs. The overall atmosphere was very satisfying, and the surrounding environment is pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommended! 👍

This cozy hostel is just a five-minute walk from Hakyu Ojiko Park Station! The information was clearly stated during check-in. There's also a 7-Eleven at the intersection for easy access to food, but be aware that the stairs inside the hostel are quite steep, so walk carefully. Overall, it was a very good experience! Perfectly located in Arima between all the Onsen, this guesthouse is a true gem, with spotless amenities and with awesome Japanese style. The host couple are also amazingly hospitable, friendly and fun - the type that become friends overnight.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The owners are very cute couple. They spent time with us at the evening and I have delicious breakfast with them in the morning. Welcome drink is just one of many amazing things you get when you stay there.
