I really enjoyed my stay at Kobe Sannomiya Union Hotel. The location in Sannomiya is very convenient — only a short walk from the main train stations — making it easy to explore Kobe.

For my relatives hospital visits, my mother and I use this hotel as a hub to do things. And I enjoy the environment progresses every time I stay. I see Paul ( notable French cafe) is under construction and Korean market is next to the hotel for shopping. For a Japanese hotel, the room size was perfectly adequate. The surrounding area is also great for independent travelers. All in all, I was very satisfied.

Had a nice time staying for a week at this hotel. It is close to Sannomiya station with lots of restaurants nearby. It is also within walking distance to key areas such as Chinatown, Kitano etc. The room is cleaned with relatively good breakfast choices. I recommend it. It was Ebisu Day, so I couldn't get a taxi, but they called one for me. They have separate smoking and non-smoking rooms, and I asked for a smoking room close to the elevator, and they obliged.

Hotel appears relatively new and the room (twin) was small but very clean. Only the complaint is that they charged an adult breakfast rate (not child rate) for my 6 year old child, which I never experienced in Japan.

This was my first time staying at a hotel near Sannomiya Station in Kobe. The hotel was well-equipped and offered great value for money. The only downside was the construction outside the entrance, which made getting around inconvenient and required a bit of a detour. Although the hotel is a bit old, its proximity to Sannomiya Station is a huge plus. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and exploring nearby attractions, and the Kansai Airport bus stop is also quite close to the hotel!

Check-in and check-out were super convenient, and the transportation was great too. The only downside is that the lobby always smelled so deliciously of grilled meat – well, it is Kobe after all!

The room was very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. Check-in and check-out were semi-self-service with staff assistance, making them very quick. We could also store our luggage for free. The lobby offered complimentary toiletries and tea bags, with DHC skincare products and six different types of tea bags. This is the most comprehensive selection I've seen among similar hotels.

During our stay, the construction work is going on around the hotel, so the location is not that convenient. We have to walk longer distance.

I stayed here to see the first sunrise of the year from Meriken Park! It's about a 5-minute walk north from Kobe Station, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble finding something to eat!

The hotel is within walking distance of JR Kobe Station and has excellent access. It's also convenient that there's a convenience store nearby. It was also nice that they included free breakfast. The switch between the faucet and shower was broken, so the shower wasn't usable.

The central air conditioning, even on its strongest setting in winter, is still as weak as a gentle breeze and doesn't provide enough warmth.

It's baffling that the hotel doesn't have a kettle. The parking was advertised as available, but when I arrived, I was told I couldn't use it without a reservation, even though there were clearly two empty spots. They also didn't mention needing to call ahead. Very Japanese style.

The price for the time of the year was reasonable. The room and basic facilties were good. The subway station is 5ish minute walk away and 30 minutes away from Namba, so if you're looking for peace but not too far away from the busy places, I'd recommend this place.

The location is very convenient. Just 2 street away there is a covered shopping alley that sells all kinds of local products and eating outlets. Ramada Encore room is very clean and they provide new and fresh towels and toiletries every day. Airport limousine bus from Kansai stop at Amagasaki station which is only 5 minutes walk. The room was excellent. It's rare to find hotels with sofas in Japan, and the breakfast was superb. You can even choose your own breakfast time. It's only 230 meters to the station, and there's a shopping street right outside the door. Plus, it's a pleasant 20-minute walk to the beach in the evening.

The air conditioning in the corner room on the 9th floor had a strange, intermittent loud gurgling sound. However, I was so tired from sightseeing that I slept soundly, so it didn't really affect my sleep much. People who are light sleepers should be aware of this. I have a lot of trust in Toyoko. The room layout is reasonable and the hotels are widely distributed. This one is basically opposite Hanshin Station, which is convenient for getting around. The only drawback is that my room is close to the elevator, which makes it noisy. Also, the elevator was broken that day, so I had to walk up to the 12th floor.

The facilities are a bit dated. It's a bit of a walk from Sannomiya Station in Kobe, taking about 9-10 minutes, and even with a map, it can be quite tricky to locate. However, it offers good value for money, costing around 320 per person for two nights. The front desk staff were also very friendly. If you're on a tight budget, Kokk Hotel Kobe is still a decent choice.

5 stars location, 5star people service and a space at the lobby where you can sit and work. 4 stars for the room, I love their room is spacious, but the bed is firm but sinks, it’s like a v shape when I sleep which cause sore back every morning, also their pillows are too high.
