V Hotel in Kobe

I stayed there.
The rooms were kept clean, and there were no issues other than signs of aging.
The location is easy to find, and you shouldn't get lost.
However, depending on the room, the building next door is a Yamato Transport office, so the lights are bright even after business hours, which might be a concern. Although there are blackout curtains, some light still leaks through the gaps.
The service was a bit disappointing.
You can order food and other items from the hotel menu on the TV, so calling the front desk is generally unnecessary.
The menu on the table listed a wide variety of dishes, and I was excited to open the TV menu, but most of the items weren't listed.
Perhaps you can just call the front desk directly...
They might not display many items to avoid overwhelming the staff with large orders, but if that's the case, it would be better not to provide a menu at all.
The room rate was reasonable, and I think it's a good hotel overall, but that was a disappointment.

The bed creaked terribly, but otherwise, I had no complaints.

The value for money was good. Unfortunately, only smoking rooms were available, and the strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke was quite bothersome.
