Stumbled upon this hotel as a destination between Kanazawa and Kyoto - ended up being one of the more magical nights of our time in Japan!
Timeless service, traditional style, unique food. All with an incredible view and cute town. Definitely pricey, but we were treated like royalty. Recommend!

Excellent service, great food and stunning view. A hotel with long history yet still in good condition. Had a good memories staying in this hotel. Will definitely come back next time.

It was wonderful. I stayed in a spacious room called Kongo. The size of the room, the condition, the amenities, everything was the best of the best. The warm hospitality of the staff was also excellent, and the homely service was also excellent. The food was also very delicious, and they even thoughtfully adjusted the portions to suit me, as I have a small appetite. It was a trip that I will always remember. I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

The hotel is in a very good location. You can enjoy the full view of Amanohashidate while soaking in the hot spring. The hotel is on the mountain, and you can hear a lot of insects chirping at night. 😁 Occasionally, small insects will fly over at night. Dinner is Japanese, and breakfast can be Japanese or Western.

A review was deleted by a ryokan! I wonder if the person was really angry because the truth was written? I want to know why... No food! Only the view! I heard that members of the imperial family had visited, but is this a high-class ryokan that has a policy of making a distinction between guests and members of the imperial family?

Stayed in Nyoi room. The view of Amanohashidate from the front desk and the room is amazing. It's the same as the view from Viewland. But... dinner and breakfast are not worth the price! It's the same as a fairly cheap inn. If you don't care about the food! If you want a view, Genmyoan is the best with the best view. But... the food is terrible (lol)

From the time I checked in until I left at 9pm, I couldn't stand it anymore. There were no less than dozens of bugs everywhere in the bedroom, restaurant, toilet, and bath. After repeated inquiries, they said that the environment around the hotel has been like this since November last year. They tried to get rid of the bugs but it didn't work. It's funny that from the beginning to the end, no one responsible came out to explain or apologize. The dinner in the evening was also perfunctory. Your safety and price don't match. In addition, since there are so many bugs that can't be killed, why can you continue to operate normally? Are you asking consumers to pay for it?
