Really an amazing hotel, had a wonderful stay here. Would come back again but unfortunately its closing down. Wish all the best, thanks for the hospitality.

Very friendly staff and can speak different languages since it's a tourist center. Walking distance within 10mins from stations and right next to a pond. You can see a couple of deers from the window. A convenient store right at B1 which comes in handy - tho it's not 24hrs.
There are many activities you can join during daytime.
Recommended.

Fantastic room, stone throw away from the park and the shopping/food streets, friendly staff, deer visible from your window and you can cook in the shared kitchen when needed. 11/10

Considering what we paid for 3 people to stay a night before moving on from Nara, this accommodation was great.
Had a public bath and even a communal kitchen. Very user friendly.
Too bad the convenience store connected to it was closed during our stay, overall a great stay for the price.

It was pretty good overall, but some rooms had an old, musty smell, probably due to their age. The deluxe Japanese-style room was especially great. However, not being able to control the ventilation was a bit annoying. For the price, the room size was quite generous. Next time, I'd like to stay two consecutive days; checking out after just one night this time was really inconvenient.

The location is excellent, very close to the attractions, and the room is clean and tidy. There's a big lake nearby where you can relax and unwind in the evening.

hotel was conveniently situated near the entrance of nara park and the shrine. deers right outside hotel. hotel staff were very friendly and explained details well.
only down side of the room was that the air conditioning/heater was centrally controlled. we had to open the windows at night or else it will be too stuffy. however there were a few trucks who will come by at night around 4-5am to deliver goods and it will create noise.
overall rooms were great. however will likely choose another place to stay in nara :)

This was the best hotel on our trip to Japan! The Japanese style bedroom was spacious, clean and very cozy. The staff spoke English (and some Russian) very well. We also took part in free activities (cosplay, calligraphy, origami), which was fun. And there were some deer just outside the hotel.

Nice room in a quiet area, kind staff, convenient to the Nara attractions

Lovely hotel gave you a warm welcome feeling. Free parking facility next to the hotel. The Japanese buffet breakfast is available at 1510 Yen per adult, and half price for children. It's very close to the Nara park, deer park, temple, Taisha, etc.

it was really confortable hotel. All of the staffs were kind and friendly to make communicate.
My favourite point of the hotel is a breakfast service, which is provided Japanese and Western style.
As regards a location, the hotel is in close to the central area of the Nara; so easy to go down to many temples and shopping sites.
In terms of the cost, depending of the season, but the cost performance could be absolutely appropriate. The room has clean and enough space, bathroom as well.
But if you want to enjoy staying Japanese style hotel, it could be unsuited slightly for you.
