I was able to relax more than usual in the tranquil atmosphere of the guest room, with its scent of comfort. The style where you can take off your shoes, like ours, is the best. Also, since I was traveling with a small child, I was able to rent a baby bathtub, which was very helpful. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. We also enjoyed the smiling pancakes for children. The child was very happy. Thanks to the staff's gentle smiles, it was a wonderful and memorable trip. Thank you for all your help. I want to stay here again.

The room's ambiance and decor were very pleasant, with plenty of indirect lighting. There was a light switch and charging station by the bed, and it worked very well. The room was shared by three people, but it was a suitable size. The room also had essential amenities, including wonderful toiletries, such as luxuriously scented hand soap and skin care products. There were also two large shared baths, and cypress balls floated in the semi-open shared bath, and the pleasant smell healed me. The body and hair care product, called "Osai," in the shared bath had a first-class scent and quality, and even after using it, my hair was moisturized, and I felt amazing being able to use such a nice bath. The shared bath was supplied with well water, so the water quality was very good, and it was very comfortable. It was so nice that I walked in the morning. In the morning, I heard a bird call from the half-shelter and felt very full. For breakfast, you can choose between rice or obanzai bread. I had bread with a dashi egg sandwich, a tuna sandwich, and handmade jam on bread, but it was truly delicious! For the first time in a long time, I've encountered delicious bread. When I go to Kyoto, I'll stay here again!

I stayed with my mom and grandma. It's near Kamogawa, so you can easily go for a walk. There are also a lot of quaint shops near Kyoto City Hall and it's also close to the city center, so I think it's a great location. The building's interior is also decorated to give you a sense of Kyoto's atmosphere. There's also paper with information about Kyoto on display, and at the Matsuya confectionery, you can enjoy sweets that will give you a taste of Kyoto culture, making your Kyoto trip even more fulfilling. I took my grandmother, who is in a wheelchair, but the establishment was barrier-free, making it easy for me to get around. The staff was also very accommodating, and I really enjoyed my stay. I think after some time, I'll be able to sightsee in Kyoto without any problems, so I'd like to use it more often.

The best Marriott experience! The pillows and bedding were incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff noticed we'd bought our own water and thoughtfully added two extra bottles of mineral water to our room. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious! So worth it! My daughter said she wants to stay here again next time we visit Kyoto! Too bad I forgot to take pictures of the amazing breakfast.

The hotel is new and very clean, with comfortable rooms. The only downside is that it doesn't have a window. They offer free coffee and a public bath. Overall, it's excellent.

The hotel's facilities are excellent. The room layout is well-designed and user-friendly, making everything easily accessible. Even after a five-day stay, I didn't feel bored. The hotel also offers a public bath, a mini-gym, and a free Nespresso machine, so all the amenities are really comprehensive.

The location is also very convenient. The hotel is situated in the relatively quiet area of Nijo, yet it's still within walking distance of Kawaramachi. Walking back to the hotel along the Kamo River or the small stream nearby every day was very pleasant.

The only downside was the subpar soft service. Halfway through my stay, my own towel went missing. I suspect it got mixed up with the hotel towels, but this level of housekeeping service is simply unprofessional. The hotel staff only stated that they hadn't seen it and found no abnormalities, nor did they offer any solutions. Overall, only the service level was disappointing.

This hotel felt average. It was also a ten minute walk from the city.

This hotel is fantastic! The decor is new and has a wonderful Japanese aesthetic. When you walk into the room, there's no unpleasant smell at all – it's very clean, and the bedding is super comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the room itself is long and narrow, so it can feel a bit cramped if you try to open two large suitcases. We booked for three people, and the hotel had already prepared a third sofa bed, which was great. The shower, toilet, and sink are all separate, which is a big plus; it's not like the cramped, 'space capsule' bathrooms you often find in traditional Japanese hotels. The hotel's service was also very good. Before check-in, I emailed them to confirm the private shower facilities in the room and the extra bed, and they responded promptly. However, I do want to complain about Ctrip's customer service here. I contacted Ctrip before reaching out to the hotel myself, and all the information they gave me was incorrect.
