I've stayed in two hostels in Osaka, the other being Acro Capsule. Both are quite close in location, with Acro right next to Dotonbori. At this hostel, the front desk on the first floor has Japanese and Indian staff. The first floor also features shoe lockers (where you take off your shoes), a dining area (with breakfast), and the front desk provides disposable slippers, bath towels, and hand towels...

This was the most satisfying hostel I stayed at in Japan. It was clean and tidy, the vanity room was well-equipped, and I never had to worry about finding space. The capsule provided excellent privacy.

Overall decent stay. Personnel was very friendly. One downside was the air ventilation within the capsule. It wasn’t fully dust free and as I am allergic to that I had a runny nose afterwards. A more thorough cleaning would help. Otherwise I would recommend the place.

Even though the price dropped right after I booked, this hotel still exceeded my expectations. It's quite self-service, but everything is incredibly clean, including the shared showers. The mattress was super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone was quiet, well-mannered, and friendly, creating a really warm atmosphere.

Clean, affordable and in a busy area of Osaka directly next to transit. You have to leave your room key with the front desk which at first is a little weird but staff is attentive, efficient and available 24/7, so it's fine. Two beds, and the room size was decent. We had a comfortable stay! It's great for friends traveling together. The front desk offers free razors, lotion, and facial cleanser. The shampoo and conditioner in the room are Pola brand, which were also very pleasant to use.

The room is quite small but still convenient to access the main shopping areas.

The place is really awesome. Super convenient as its right in the heart of do to ori and only 3 mins from the station. Very easy to move around and there's a few 7 eleven, family mart, mcdonald's nearby. GU and uniqlo is also nearby for shopping. Rooms are very spacious and decently clean. Tried the insen twice as well and it's quite the experience.

The only good about the hotel is its location. The bed and sofa might need a thorough cleaning.

It's close to the station and there's a convenience store right in front of it, which was nice. However, as soon as I entered the hotel, there was a really strong smell... Interesting place to stay, reasonable price for solo trip.

Compared to capsule hotels, the space is similar in size, but there are many books to read and pass the time. The bathroom and toilet are clean. The downside is that the sleeping area is still stuffy in the fall, so it is recommended to improve ventilation.

Although a bit dated, everything else was great. The location is excellent – just a quick right turn after exiting the JR station and you're at the hotel. The public bath facilities offer both hot and cold onsen (hot springs) and a sauna. Cleanliness was also quite good.

I was so glad that I found this accommodation! It is located on a quiet street, yet so very close to convenience stores, restaurants, and Ebisucho station. The amenities provided include an electric stove, microwave, kettle, and kitchenware. Perfect!!

Hotel is well equipped but do note the 15min walk from subway, although there is a nearby bus-stop that can bring you to the subway stations. Also note the room faces a small cemetery. There is also practically no service - no front desk reception, no luggage storage, no housekeeping cleaning.

This is my first time staying at a ryokan but it did not disappoint. I was hesitant to sleep on the floor but it was the equivalent to sleeping on a very firm mattress. The breakfast was hearty and sustained me until I had a late lunch. I would stay here again.

When you have te go tp airport, you cam take a taxi (jpy 800) and go to nearest limousine bus stop, across Hilton hotel which is just 5 minutes from the Apa hotel.

Stayed here for a short timeframe about a week or so, I can say that the staff was super helpful and the hotel itself was very well maintained and clean! My room was next to the train tracks and honestly, I didn't hear it at all, and I'm a light sleeper. When I go back this coming up year I'm staying here again without hesitation. Ask for a room that's not too affected by the noise of train tracks in the evenings and in the early morning. Despite having a room on the 13th floor, I got woken up by trains before 05:00. Earplugs may be a solution if you are not worried about missing your alarm in the morning.

This hotel was about a ten-minute walk from Osaka JR Station, albeit a quite difficult one if you don’t know where you are going. My room was super clean and had everything I needed, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I read complaints about the elevated road right by the hotel, but I didn’t have any problems sleeping. There is also a 7-11 a few steps away.
