First Cabin Midousuji - Namba in Osaka

I travel Osaka alone. The hotel provides Onsen facilities. Which is good for after a long walk. Capable of solo travel

I traveled alone this time and chose this hotel. The location is excellent; from Namba Exit 13, you take the elevator directly to the third floor where the front desk is. There are two self-check-in machines, and you can select Chinese for a smooth check-in process. You can check in after 5 PM, but you can store your luggage and they'll give you a numbered tag.

Both the third and fourth floors are part of the hotel and require key card access. Each floor is divided into different rooms, with about 12 beds per room. On the same floor, there are both male and female rooms, so you might encounter people of the opposite sex on your way to the restrooms or showers.

On the third floor, the bathing area features a public bath with both cold and hot soaking tubs, a sauna, and a member-exclusive room (don't go into the wrong one!). There's also a restroom, a changing area (for clothes and towels), washbasins, and vanity tables – everything you could need. After walking a lot each day, a soak is very relaxing. Afterwards, there's a water dispenser with room temperature and iced water (no hot water).

I stayed on the fourth floor, which has two independent shower rooms. They've thoughtfully provided shower head holders at different heights. The fourth floor also has vanity tables and washbasins, but no stools (the third floor has them). The restroom is next to the washbasins, with a smart toilet that's very clean. You need to change into slippers before entering the restroom.

The room size is quite good; a 24-inch suitcase can be fully opened. On the first day, a bath towel, small towel, and pajamas were provided on the bed. The room has three lights and two mirrors. The brightness of all three lights is adjustable, so you can slowly adjust the lighting when you wake up in the morning, avoiding glare. There's a lockable drawer under the bed for use. You can hang clothes next to the mirror, and there are three hangers.

My stay experience was excellent. The hotel provides a very comprehensive range of amenities (pajamas, disposable slippers, towels (you can get fresh ones daily), toothbrushes, hair ties, earphone cables, earplugs, combs, razors, etc.). The staff were also wonderful, patiently explaining the bed's location and important information. If I travel alone again, I will definitely choose this hotel!

Hotel is situated around dubious establishments - slot machines and there was some girls in skimpy clothes squatting around the back alley. But it is very conveniently located near shopping areas.

As someone who has stayed in many capsule hotels, this one stands out as the best for size, value, and amenities.
• Location: Perfect. Right next to Exit 13 of Namba Station. It's an easy 5-minute walk to the main station and Takashimaya.
• The Room: Surprisingly spacious. Unlike other capsules, there is plenty of room here to actually secure your luggage comfortably.
• Amenities: The facilities are great. Having the option of an individual single bathroom in addition to the public bath is a major plus.
Strongly recommended for solo travelers looking for a high-quality stay. I will absolutely be returning

Very close to Nankai Electric Railway, and it's also convenient for shopping in Shinsaibashi. The front desk offers luggage storage. Although it's a capsule hotel and you can inevitably hear other guests, most people are very considerate, and the private lockers add a good sense of privacy.

Great experience! Much cleaner, safer, and with a hot spring bath than I expected. Definitely worth it. I thought it would be small, but it turned out to be quite spacious. I'd choose this place again if I come back next time.

Super highly recommend, location super good convenient, downstair opposite is Namba hotspot street, the hotel lift B1 can direct to train station, room is quiet & clean, super spacious can open the luggage, also with spacious public bath..

This is a modern capsule hotel which is absolutely a great stay for solo travellers looking at explore Osaka. Its proximity to the Namba station makes this a very convenient stay.

The women's communal showers had a strong smell of urine, which felt very unhygienic. There were only two shower cubicles, so we often had to queue outside to use them.

The room size was adequate, and there were lockable drawers under the bed. However, the room door itself could not be locked, which was a significant safety concern.

I stayed in women's dorm room 422. Throughout the night and early morning, staff members were constantly entering and exiting, performing some unidentified tasks. They were slamming doors and rearranging items, creating a significant amount of noise. To my surprise, in the morning, a male staff member entered the women's dorm room to tidy it up, which made me feel very unsafe.

Before check-in, explicit rules were stated prohibiting noise and eating in the rooms, even requiring headphones for watching TV. Despite these strict rules for guests, their own staff continuously made noise, leading to a very poor night's sleep.

The location, however, was extremely convenient.

The receptionist was incredibly rude. She lacked any warmth or welcoming spirit towards guests. Yet, immediately after she finished speaking with me, she went on to chat and laugh cheerfully with other guests dining in the lobby. It felt like a complete slap in the face.

On the other hand, I was pleased with the cleanliness and convenience. I will definitely return to Namba, but I've promised myself I will never stay at this hotel again.
