NOT RECOMMENDED
I've stayed at APA Hotels in various areas of Osaka, but this is by far the worst APA hotel in Osaka. Check-in took 30 minutes, and every room had the endless clanging of trains passing by on the tracks directly below every few minutes. This hotel should have informed guests of this condition when accepting reservations. It was so loud that you couldn't sleep without earplugs.
It takes more than 10 mins walk from Osaka station. Very bad location.
Room is Typical APA poor standards.
As everyone mentions, the cleanliness is very bad with hairs left on the bed linen, stains on the bath room walls, stinky smells in the bathroom etc...

The access was good and the room was clean. I would definitely like to use it again.

I stayed for about a week and used the washing machine. The Machine said detergent was supplied automatically, but I didn't detect any scent, so I asked the hotel guy to check. He even had someone from the laundry machine repair company come and explain. Apparently, since guests come from many different countries with varying scent preferences, they use unscented detergent. Thank you for accommodating me even though it was my mistake.

Room was good. Not big... but normal for all japanese hotels. A place to sleep. Service is excellent and l9cation is 5 minutes walk from the mall and JR station. When you have te go tp airport, you cam take a taxi (jpy 800) and go to nearest limousine bus stop, across Hilton hotel which is just 5 minutes from the Apa hotel.

Stayed here for a short timeframe about a week or so, I can say that the staff was super helpful and the hotel itself was very well maintained and clean! My room was next to the train tracks and honestly, I didn't hear it at all, and I'm a light sleeper. When I go back this coming up year I'm staying here again without hesitation.
Honestly APA has set the standard for me on how a hotel should be managed and ran, and that's saying a lot since I've traveled to various countries and nothing compares unless you're willing to spend a lot more money.

Ask for a room that's not too affected by the noise of train tracks in the evenings and in the early morning. Despite having a room on the 13th floor, I got woken up by trains before 05:00. Earplugs may be a solution if you are not worried about missing your alarm in the morning.

This hotel was about a ten-minute walk from Osaka JR Station, albeit a quite difficult one if you don’t know where you are going. My room was super clean and had everything I needed, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I read complaints about the elevated road right by the hotel, but I didn’t have any problems sleeping. There is also a 7-11 a few steps away.

Small but super-useful room. We stayed for four days and missed the space to hang out our clothes and relax in the room. Aside from that, the location is very convenient for public transportation, both the trains from Osaka Station and the subway and Loop Line. Basic Japanese breakfast. Laundry service for 300 yen.

Was a bit difficult to get to in the rain at night but leaving was easier as I had oriented myself.
As others said jts about a 10 min walk from the station.
Ok value for money.
I suggest having ear plugs as you can hear the train pass by.
