The room was ok, simple and ok for our needs. However making the bed when you are already tired is awful when when paying for a private room for 70$ a night, the minimum is to have a bed ready for guest. The most awful thing is that other people would come into our floor, and 2 guys even entered our room in the middle of the night, apparently the code for the rooms are all the same so they were able to open our door and get in. I got super scared, never seen that in Japan. There is a obvious security issue

You can walk to Tsutenkaku!

There is an elevator, so you don't have to worry about big luggage.

The women-only dormitory was spacious and comfortable! !

accommodated late check-in past 10pm, and was able to store luggage for a few hours after check-out
very clean and new property
water dispenser available in the common area

One of the best, if not the best, hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are always pleasant and ready to help. Everything is so clean and organized. The cleaners come in every day and tidy up the place like clockwork.
You can rent a towel for ¥200, eliminating the hassle of packing a towel. Most of the lights are motion sensing lights so you don’t have to bother with the switch. The shower has complimentary body wash and shampoo. The beds are super comfortable there were days when I was tempted to just stay in bed until late in the morning.

Super Clean and cheap.
Has a nice Lobby too

The female staff at the reception was unfriendly. The air inside the hostel was gloomy. We do not recommend this hostel

Amazing place, very clean, new, staff very helpfull. Location is the best, we could visit dotonbori area by foot (20/30min walk), if you dont like to walk, you can take the subway, which is super close to the hostel . Near den den town (if you like anime). Also very close to a nice Buddhist temple, where we found an amazing market. On osaka, great value for the price. Amazing. Showers have shampoo and body gel. If you want a towel you can hire for about 200¥

Great location, many places reachable by walking distance, many convinient shops around the place. Very nice and helpful staff, very polite! Rooms were very nice and clean, hard bed but fine with me. Bed curtains were great, no light was coming through. Lockers in the room available as well. Clean bathroom area, body wash and shampoo in the showers. I liked the space in the bathroom where you could change or dry yourself after a shower. There is an elevator as well. I liked that in the lobby there were some sweets to take, tea as well. Bigger kitchenette will be great, but it's still great.

Stumbled upon this place and had two delicious and fresh Banh mi’s and really great coffee sitting in the sunshine. Amazing view of the Hitachi tower. Looked like a lovely hostel too!

I stayed in the hostel and ate the food as customer. It's a super friendly and clean place. If you wanna get some coffee, drink some plum sake, or eat some tasty Vietnamese sandwiches, its the perfect place right by the osaka tower. It has a coffee shop vibe where I listened to the Japanese verson of county roads and road the slide...yes there is a slide but its FAST so be careful. The prices are very reasonable too, I cant recommend it enough.

One of my favourite hostels I stayed in Japan, homely, clean, great location and extremely friendly staff. Special thanks to Eriko, her warm smile and friendly nature made coming back to the hostel everyday so pleasant, like returning home. Thanks Guys!!

The Pax was a great place to stay, the location is great and located beside subway and train lines. The atmosphere is very cozy and they even have events like live performances which the guests can attend for free. The banh mi sandwiches are also very good. I can strongly recommend this place if you are staying in Osaka.

The Pax hotel is simply the best hotel/hostel i have ever been in Japan . The staff is so nice, room are quiet and facilities are very clean ( the share kitchen is also a very calm place to eat). The bar downstairs with good music all the time. Thanky very much for the great journey! Hope to come back again soon 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙏🏼
