Overall, a great experience. The front desk staff could speak basic Chinese, English, and Japanese, making communication very easy. They proactively changed towels and emptied trash whenever I went out, which I really appreciated. Although the location is quite close to the Nishinari area, so you might hear some cars speeding by late at night, it's also very convenient as Shin-Imamiya Station is nearby, with an airport express train at 5:17 AM – perfect for early flights. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning seemed to have an issue on the last night and wasn't cooling. However, it was late, so I just opened the window and managed to sleep.

TOHO HOTEL location is fantastic accessible to 3 subway stations, direct train to Kansai Airport. Walking distance to Osaka Shinsekai/Tsutenkaku. If you dont mind walking more to Shinsaibashi its far but along the way you can visit some small Shrines and temples. There's a 24hrs laundry service just across TOHO. So dont hv to bring too many clothings keep space for shopping and food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The room was very clean and quite spacious, easily fitting three large suitcases. Getting around by subway was super convenient, with the Sakaisuji, Midosuji, and Nankai lines all nearby, making it easy to get anywhere.

Great location, close to the subway, and Tsutenkaku Tower is within walking distance. The staff speak Chinese and were very helpful.

Clean, neat, cozy, and well-located. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and there's complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. The room is fully equipped, and while it's not huge (two large suitcases might be a squeeze), its cleanliness and tidiness really stood out.

The hotel is very conveniently located, I just a 5-minute walk from the nearest subway station and close to Tsutenkaku Tower, making it easy to explore the area.

The hotel's location is excellent, with two subway stations and three convenience stores nearby. There's also a Matsuya (a popular fast-food chain, great for introverts!), and Tsutenkaku Tower is right next door. The hotel is very clean, and the front desk even offers Chinese-speaking staff, so there's no need to worry about language barriers.

Conveniently located near JR Shin-Imamiya and Ebisucho subway stations. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was made daily with fresh towels and toothbrushes provided. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

No water provided by the hotel. Told to drink from bathroom sink. No laundry service at the hotel. Room smells like cigarettes for entire stay. I don't smoke and hate that smell. Shower is too small for my height and I'm not even tall. I'm only 5 11 and can't fit under the shower. AC has no language option and only in Japanese. Struggled to make it work. Automatic doors at the front of the hotel never work, takes like 3+ attempts of walking forward and backwards for them to open. It was a good size room and close to multiple stations and tourist areas.

Stumbled upon this place and had two delicious and fresh Banh mi’s and really great coffee sitting in the sunshine. Amazing view of the Hitachi tower. Looked like a lovely hostel too!

I stayed in the hostel and ate the food as customer. It's a super friendly and clean place. If you wanna get some coffee, drink some plum sake, or eat some tasty Vietnamese sandwiches, its the perfect place right by the osaka tower. It has a coffee shop vibe where I listened to the Japanese verson of county roads and road the slide...yes there is a slide but its FAST so be careful. The prices are very reasonable too, I cant recommend it enough.

The Pax was a great place to stay, the location is great and located beside subway and train lines. The atmosphere is very cozy and they even have events like live performances which the guests can attend for free. The banh mi sandwiches are also very good. I can strongly recommend this place if you are staying in Osaka.

The Pax hotel is simply the best hotel/hostel i have ever been in Japan . The staff is so nice, room are quiet and facilities are very clean ( the share kitchen is also a very calm place to eat).
