That was my first experience in that type of hostel. It was actually really nice after I experienced being in another one. It was just a bit difficult to remember my key and pushing unlock-but great for safety. Just maneuvering all my stuff around was a bit of a trick-but it was a very nice organized place.

It was average the air was bad in the sleeping pod. I can’t really breathe well.

The beds were clean, and there were enough communal showers and toilets. The lockers were a bit narrow, only big enough for daily essentials. Larger bags and suitcases had to be stored in the common storage room.

I think the place is just great, especially that it is an actual room, and you can have breakfast. But a pillow is too small - had to use backpack to lift up a bit. Also, recommend asking for a room away from the kitchen. It is quite loud in the morning.

It is on 4th & 5th floor . No elevator. Dorm style with private tatami bedrooms with windows and ac. Each floor has 34 units, 3-5 toilets, one shower, one simple kitchen. It’s decent for the price albeit I would not recommend it for the traveling couple since the room is a little bit cramped (we also have two large luggages so you could imagine how cramped it was for us). The room smells a little musty but clean enough, the bathroom location is not that good since men’s and women’s are on different floors, the shower room is good though.

Location fantastic. But hostel told me must check in before 8pm. Fortunately I called before hand due to weather delayed transport to Yokohama. 8pm is too early to close reception. This place was a great find! The owners are awesome and so were the guests! I made life long friends. It is right in the middle of Chinatown and within walking distance to the ocean! This was my best place to stay in my 14 day trip in Japan as a solo traveler! Very accommodating and it felt like home.

It's about a ten-minute walk from Kawasaki Station. Just across the main road is the commercial district. It's very lively at night, with yakitori bars and beautiful women. It's generally quiet at night, suitable for ordinary people traveling to Japan. It's mainly about saving money, and the main price is economical.

Convenient check-in at any time

You cannot check in between 10am and 3pm, and you cannot check in for consecutive days. Do you need to pay extra? It is not convenient to change keys and get shoes when going out.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Associa. The location is extremely convenient, especially for travelers using JR trains — direct access to or very close to the station made moving around effortless, even with luggage.

This is the 3rd &Hostel chain that I’d stay after Minamisenju & Kuramae. Location wise this Akihabara branch just located 300m away from Yodobashi Akiba & JR Akihabara. Everything was perfect. On the hostel floor they even got 7 toilets available with the maximum occupancy around 20pax. Luxury 😁

Great stay, I like the front desk staff just how friendly and caring they were. The room could be cleaner, the bed could be less squeaky just coz it made sound even when you put something lite on it. The lounge area was great tho and very nice for socializing and meeting new people.

The double room was very spacious, and luggage storage was super convenient. The front desk staff were also incredibly warm and helpful. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time.

It was such a pleasure for me to stay in this hostel. The staff is the best you can find and the atmosphere is amazing. I met such a great people here during my Japan journey and I've to say thanks to Anne hostel. Rooms are ok, toilets too.

Super clean and comfortable hostel. They hook you up with tons of blankets, hot showers, and a solid free breakfast along with tea whenever you want. My only complaint would be how small the lockers are but I was able to keep my things on the shelf above my bed. I would definitely stay here again. Also the staff were super helpful and kind

Great location. Staff is very friendly and speaks English. Place is very easy to find with a few signs indicating youth hostel (using google maps will get you there.) The 4-man dorm provides you with a bed along with bathroom with showers on the same floor. If you need a towel, you can also ask the front desk for one at the charge of 100 yen.

Loved the staff. All of them were open, friendly and helpful. They have complimentary breakfast, which is a real life saver if you're looking to save some money. Beds are comfortable. They have a nice bathhouse in the basement. Capsules do feel a bit small. Lockers are small, but you can put your stuff in your capsule or outside of it. Would book again, it's an authentic Japanese experience.

I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely stay again for the odd night for extremely cheap accommodation. It was unlike anywhere I have ever stayed before. It was well located. The location is super convenient, with lots of restaurants nearby. The capsule experience was quite novel. Sleeping was just okay; you'll definitely need earplugs. It felt a bit stuffy. The shower facilities were good, and they even offer free curry rice for both breakfast and dinner.
