Hostels in Yokohama

Close from and to the Yokohama train station..Clean and nice shower bath...Friendly and kind front desk staff...Many good restaurants and shops around area. Safe neighborhoods..

That was my first experience in that type of hostel. It was actually really nice after I experienced being in another one. It was just a bit difficult to remember my key and pushing unlock-but great for safety. Just maneuvering all my stuff around was a bit of a trick-but it was a very nice organized place.

It was average the air was bad in the sleeping pod. I can’t really breathe well.

The beds were clean, and there were enough communal showers and toilets. The lockers were a bit narrow, only big enough for daily essentials. Larger bags and suitcases had to be stored in the common storage room.

Convenient location and clean. Great amenities like toothbrush, towels, pjs and slippers were provided, as well as there being makeup cleanser, toner and location in the ladies washroom. Check in and check out was easy. Note that there is no longer luggage storage after check out, and the sauna/baths are men-only. I also had requested a bottom bunk but had received a top one, and found the bottom...

Great budget stay for the solo traveler! The place was always thoroughly clean and staff were friendly and helpful. It took some getting used to since it was my first time staying at a capsule hotel. For instance, no outside shoes in the capsule area: disposable slippers are provided once you arrive, so switch to those affter putting down your luggage. If you need an extra pair, you can grab one...

This is a great price, especially for budget travelers.

I think the place is just great, especially that it is an actual room, and you can have breakfast. But a pillow is too small - had to use backpack to lift up a bit. Also, recommend asking for a room away from the kitchen. It is quite loud in the morning.

Great location near to Yokohama china town, and only 5 mins walk from train station, room is small but tidy and clean, shared toilets and bathrooms, you cannot ask for more at this price, one thing I have to point out if you’re with big and heavy luggage you must ready to handle it as the building has no lift.

Given the price, you can overlook a lot. I stayed in room 402. It was just big enough for a single bed, but the AC was powerful, and it was perfectly fine for a solo male traveler. The biggest advantage is its location: Chinatown and Yamashita Park are within walking distance, and it's close to the JR station, making most Yokohama attractions easily accessible. However, it's not recommended for solo...

Although the property is old, it had an apartment-like feel, and the showers and toilets were communal. However, it was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained, which allowed me to have a comfortable stay. A simple breakfast was also provided, and it was perfectly adequate.

People who complain about neighbourhood are partially right, because it's indeed not the best (a lot of cheap hostels there). But actually, it is still safe. (It is Japan!) And yes, you get a WHOLE ROOM, and not just a capsule like in another hostels. A young girl like me was completely okay and nothing bad happened during my four days stay there. The staff is friendly. I walked through all the Yokohama...

I was fortunate enough to meet a Chinese-speaking receptionist upon check-in, which made for a very pleasant conversation. They even gave me a lot of helpful advice, enriching my trip! The hotel environment is quiet, and convenience stores and shops are all in the same block.

The value for money is excellent. However, because I shared a room, depending on the clientele, there were good days (good sleep) and bad days (bad sleep). I stayed for 5 days and had good sleep 3 days and bad 2 days. Given the price, I can't really complain... The hotel staff were foreigners, but they responded perfectly and provided excellent service. Thank you very much.

The toilet and bathroom are right in the bedroom, which seems to affect my sleep.

The hotel feels like a love hotel! The rooms are huge and the bathroom is nice. The owner is friendly and there is a subway station nearby.

Great location at a good price

Amazing place, I would like to come back soon

Location fantastic. But hostel told me must check in before 8pm. Fortunately I called before hand due to weather delayed transport to Yokohama. 8pm is too early to close reception. Bed uncomfortable, metal rods below thin mattress. They did not bother to add one more rod to balance out the weight. See photos. Other than above, good compact hostel.

This place was a great find! The owners are awesome and so were the guests! I made life long friends. It is right in the middle of Chinatown and within walking distance to the ocean! This was my best place to stay in my 14 day trip in Japan as a solo traveler! Very accommodating and it felt like home.

Run by a family and very close to China town. It’s small and cozy hostel good for short stay 1 or 2 days. all hostel is on same floor so you can’t talk in common area after 10 pm. I liked here.

Very clean, and they even provide bath towels and toiletries, which is very convenient! It's one of the top three hostels I've ever stayed in.

My brother and I both stayed here for a couple nights during our tour across Japan and it was a great time. It’s located in the heart China town which is arguably one of the more fun areas of this area. The bunk beds were spacious and got the job done nicely. There was character spread throughout the entirety of the Hostel and the owners, Ito and Rico were excellent hosts. If you are having a difficult...

Service: Very good, very good, very good 4673764349468591839495689468953197349464656

Location is very near to Motomachi street and Chinatown where you can find many restaurants. The Futon mattress is thin and room is very small. The hostel reception is located on the opposite building.

It is on 4th & 5th floor . No elevator. Dorm style with private tatami bedrooms with windows and ac. Each floor has 34 units, 3-5 toilets, one shower, one simple kitchen. Male bathroom has bad smell because no automatic flush system was installed for urinals. I recommend it for tourists from less developed countries. In western style, it is of sevic level of motel 6 Reception room is across the street...

toilet not clean need to make new modern toilet

It’s decent for the price albeit I would not recommend it for the traveling couple since the room is a little bit cramped (we also have two large luggages so you could imagine how cramped it was for us). The room smells a little musty but clean enough, the bathroom location is not that good since men’s and women’s are on different floors, the shower room is good though.

The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation, shopping areas, and popular sights in Yokohama like Minato Mirai and Chinatown. For travelers on a budget looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Yokohama

We stayed at a capsule hotel located underground. As with a regular hotel, reception is on the first floor and then you head to the basement. It's easy to get lost. Perhaps because it's adjacent to the pool and large public bath, the temperature is generally high and the humidity is high. Be careful if you're concerned about the environment. If you choose a plan that includes breakfast, you'll get...

It's was a quest to find it — it has no signs outside. I've just came into other hotel to ask about this capsule paradise, and it turned out that it's on this hotel's underground floor (how should I guess?) The stay itself was perfect. Sauna was hot enough, and all facilities were clean and equipped with all necessary stuff. Dining room is quiet small, but it unexpectedly has a massage chair, wow...

Men and women were in the same cabin, but the bed areas were separate so it wasn't uncomfortable. I stayed in a standard bed, which was larger than the newer capsule hotels, and there was a bath, so I was able to stay comfortably without any noise from nearby rooms. Check-in was after 6pm and check-out was at 9am, which was just right for an early morning flight the next day. I was able to make a reservation...

I couldn't believe how nice this place was one, the international breakfast was included and delicious

When I read that someone had been upgraded to a room on the upper floor, I thought to myself, ``Some people are really lucky,'' but at check-in, the capsule was inspected or something and they let me stay in the guest room. When I was told that I would receive it, I thought, ``Are you lying? Is this really happening!?'' It was a very happy miscalculation. The room is a very large double room. Is it...

Hotel basement floor Private semi-private capsule 5000 yen including morning buffet 🌝 It was a Friday night, but it was empty, so there wasn't much noise. Check in at the front desk on the 1st floor and receive 2 keys. There is a key locker and security is OK. Shoebox key unknown, number not found The basement reception only operates the pool and does not accommodate capsule accommodations. If necessary...
