APA Hotel and Resort Yokohama Bay Tower, Yokohama1 / 26
8.9
Yokohama, 5-25-3 Kaigan-dori, Naka Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I booked a single room but got a large room with twin beds, which was great. It's also close to the amusement park area.
Small room but fully equipped with amenities and functions
The hotel is large and luxurious, and well-equipped with amenities such as a restaurant, convenience store, swimming pool (limited time), large public bath, massage chairs, ice machine, and microwave
I visited for the first time in three years, and it is still excellent. First of all, the location is great for sightseeing in the center of Yokohama
I especially loved being able to grill various fish and shellfish, including shishamo, right in front of me at breakfast!
I really liked this level of service for this price.

InterContinental Yokohama Grand by IHG, Yokohama1 / 24Offer
9.2
Yokohama, 1-1-1 Minatomirai, Nishi-Ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This branded hotel is definitely different from traditional Japanese hotels. The rooms are spacious, and the lobby is grand, built with high-quality materials, exuding a sense of luxury everywhere
Breakfast offers both Western and Japanese options. The Western buffet is on the first floor, while the Japanese set meal is on the fourth floor. The overall service is excellent, and the food is decent
Directly from the airport, but a bit far from the station. The upside is the nice view, and it's very close to Marks shopping center – you can just cut through it to get there.
The Japanese restaurant is less crowded and has a more refined atmosphere, while the Western restaurant is busier but offers views of the bay and cruise ships
The room is quite spacious, and the Yokohama night view from the window is beautiful. The breakfast selection is decent.
Great room with a nice view, but the in-room phone was difficult to use and the instructions weren't clear. The shower facilities felt a bit old

Yokohama, 2-3-7 Minatomirai, Nishi-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
My room included a balcony looking towards the bay that made all my nights memorable. Great place for a romantic getaway
such a convenient and comfortable stay, and everything is great here with helpful staf
Super luxurious and incredibly spacious, definitely the biggest hotel I've stayed in Japan! I was absolutely amazed! The view was fantastic, right overlooking the Ferris wheel 🎡. I'll definitely be back! So satisfied! 👍
The airport shuttle drops you off right at the hotel lobby. The hotel is surrounded by shopping malls, and it's a short walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and the seaside
It is my favourite hotel when visiting Yokohama. It brings good memories when we first arrived yokohama for our expatriation. We stayed here for about 2 weeks. Everyone speaks english here and the hotel is clean
Easy access to everywhere. Hotel connected to the Mall. Room very spacious and have balcony so i can do my stretching every mornings. Close by Yokohama Cosmo World. Cup Noddles Museum just 5-8 mins walk.

Yokohama, 2-6-20 Kouhoku Shinyokohama (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Perfect location and clean room! The breakfast is great. Onsen, coin laundry, vending machine, and amenities are all great. The staffs are also friendly! Walkable from Shin Yokohama Station and lots of restaurants nearby
Overall, the room was quite good.
The public bath is a little bit small so i recommend not going in peak hours, I went at 23:30 and it was not so full (for the female bath you will need to enter with the security number)
such an amazing place, clean good security and only 5 minutes from shinyokohama st. They offer an open free bar until 22:00 and free travel skin care for female travelers
The late-night bath option is a huge plus. While the room is compact, it's perfectly adequate. The complimentary breakfast is more than enough to fill you up
We were so incredibly impressed by this hotel. It deserves more than three stars. I think locals come here in the morning and pay to have their breakfast

THE KAHALA Hotel & Resort YOKOHAMA, Yokohama1 / 30High rating

Yokohama, 1-1-3 Minatomirai (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The custom bedding was incredibly soft, and the standalone bathtub with a harbor-view window was a highlight – soaking in the tub while watching the Ferris wheel turn in the port created an absolutely enchanting ambiance
The hotel's location is perfect – within walking distance to Yamashita Park and the Red Brick Warehouse, and super close to the station. This trip to Yokohama was truly captivated by the beauty of The Kahala!
This hotel boasts a prime location, a very generous breakfast, and excellent surrounding amenities. I always stay here for business trips and highly recommend it to business travelers
The moment I stepped in, I was enveloped by a vibrant Hawaiian atmosphere, and a cheerful 'Aloha' from the staff instantly melted away my travel fatigue
From the fresh sushi at the Japanese restaurant to the exquisite dishes on the Italian terrace, my taste buds embarked on a global culinary journey
The guest rooms, starting from a surprisingly spacious 47㎡, were a delight. They perfectly blend Japanese refinement with Hawaiian laid-back charm

Convenient transportation, has a bathhouse, provides breakfast, clean and comfortable, nothing special.
I liked it very much. The food was delicious and it's close to the subway.
The location was good and I enjoyed it. I would like to use it again.
This place very clean and comfortable location.
One of the best short stays in Yokohama
Because I was planning a road trip and needed to return the car, I wanted to find a convenient parking spot near a national highway, so I chose Masahiro, but it turned out to be in the heart of Yokohama

Yokohama, 3-18-1, Shin-yokohama, Kohoku-ku (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is good and very convenient to travel to. The room is comfortable and quite spacious, not cramped. The travel is convenient and impressive. The price is reasonable and worth it
There were no issues with the bedroom lighting; however, the lighting in the elevator and corridors was quite dim, which made the atmosphere feel a bit spooky at times
One is across the street from the other. Another positive feature is that it’s located only about three short blocks from the Shin Yokohama metro station
If I come back to Shin-Yokohama area, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again!
I was very satisfied! The location is also very good, as Shin-Yokohama Station and Yokohama Arena are both close by! One thing that bothered me a little was that there was a strange noise I'd never heard when I was in the elevator, which made me a little uneasy, probably because the hotel was built about 40 years ago
I stayed overnight because I was tired from traveling and left early the next morning. The location is convenient, and both the service and cleanliness were good

Yokohama, 1-22-2 Naka-ku Hanasaki (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Even the pedestrian overpasses are equipped with escalators, which is super convenient! Hotel service was impeccable; they even left two extra sets of toiletries right outside my door, which was a nice surprise, haha! I highly recommend staying here! The value for money is absolutely spot on
One couple in our group had mistakenly booked a double room for single occupancy, but the staff at check-in immediately helped us rectify it – they were incredibly accommodating! The front desk also offered a variety of complimentary drinks from 1 PM to 11 PM
Staffs are great & friendly,. Will definitely come back in this hotel. Free drinks to the guests from 1-11pm but i hope there’s a complimentary water at least 2 bottles of mineral per room per day. 🙏
Before our trip, I'd read some reviews and cautioned my friends not to set their expectations too high. We actually stayed for three nights, occupying three rooms
The location is excellent, very close to Sakuragicho. We could easily walk to Minatomirai 21 for a lovely evening stroll and to admire the night views
Plus, just a left turn out of the hotel entrance leads you to a bustling street packed with delicious local snacks!

Rembrandt Style Yokohama Kannai, Yokohama1 / 21
7.9
Yokohama, 1-2 Furo-cho, Naka-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is nice and not far from the train station. There is a McDonald’s and a Lawson right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Transportation is easy and getting around is hassle-free
Very close to south gate of kannai station. Good air conditioning in room. Strong water pressure and hot shower. Close to at least 3 convenience stores for snacks
Everything is good just that toilet is too small. Bed bigger than usual hotel in japan. Near to metro. Many eatries around.
However, the sound of passing trains can be noticeable, so it may not be suitable for light sleepers
20 minutes to international passenger cruise terminal or chinatown
Very nice hotel 👍 But toilet is too narrow 😄

Yokohama, 3002-3 Yoshidacho (11 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I'm also happy that breakfast is free. The rice and fried whitebait were very delicious. It's close to the station and the staff are perfect. For accommodation in Totsuka, we will make Super Hotel a permanent inn ❗
The room was clean and the staff at the breakfast venue were very friendly and kept the food replenished, making for a very satisfying stay. The room was larger than I expected.
There is a large communal bath where men and women can change their time, and this day was just for men, so I was able to enter slowly. The room wasn't big, but the beds were double size so it was comfortable
Japanese communal bath (Sento) on site is smallish and shared between men and women on different hours of the day. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive
Excellent location for a 3 star hotel, well priced and offering additional facilities like free breakfast and happy hour of alcoholic drinks
It's convenient in front of the station. There are various types of pillows, etc. Breakfast buffet is free but high quality

PROSTYLE Ryokan Yokohama Bashamichi, Yokohama1 / 23
8.1
Yokohama, 5-64 Tokiwa-cho, Naka-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A Ryokan themed hotel that has a nice feeling to it (note that there is no actual Ryokan but a sauna is available for booking for a fee). The breakfast has a choice of Japanese or Western, both are very good.
A stylish hotel. The staff were lovely and made our stay very comfortable. The private sauna, available separately, was also a fantastic touch.
Conveniently close to Yokohama main few stations, and a 15min walk to Minatomirai and RedBrick Warehouse. Enjoyed the aesthetics and comfortable bed, versus the bog standard other small Japanese hotels
Ice was also readily available from the front desk. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to Kannai Station (Subway and JR) and Bashamichi Station (Minatomirai Line)
We appreciated having a separate toilet and bathroom. The power outlet placement was a bit inconvenient, but we were able to rent an extension cord, which made charging devices easy
Good service of the hotel staffs! The hotel was smaller than we thought but the bed is huge. 2 minutes walk from Kannai Station, Family Mart at the corner, very good location!

Yokohama, Hanasaka-cho 3-95, Naka (in the centre) 🧭 Map
1 day vitality to the Breakfast of softening mesh frames every year fun!
The building is quite old, but it's perfectly adequate for a business stay. The walls are thin, so you can hear the person in the next room snoring. The breakfast is typical of business hotels
The menu doesn't change, so it's a bit disappointing if you're staying multiple nights. The bath has a strong chlorine smell, but the room's bath is small and a modular bath, so you'll want to use the large public bath
I booked this hotel because I had business at Pia Arena MM. The staff were friendly and the room was nice. The only downside was that the bathroom smelled a bit, perhaps because it's an older building
Concise hotel, location is perfect. Breakfast add on is a bargain
I recommend it to anyone going to Pia Arena or Yokohama

I thought the price wasn't bad compared to what I was getting. Besides the typical onsen experience, They have a hourly Finnish style sauna either in the gendered sauna or the unisex area
Sauna was a solid 99 degrees and the cold bath was 15. Another sauna was 83 and less crowded. There are towels, toothbrush/razors etc as you would expect
A little over ¥2000 for multiple hours, I was in and out for ¥1600
Great location came here for a quick sauna before heading to the airport. 1 hr ¥1600 but if you exceed this time you will need pay 5 hrs. If you r not rushing for time take the 2hr package at ¥2500
I stayed here to catch the airport bus. The facilities are great, including a bath, sauna, and rest area
The main issue is there's no outside area and, other than one window with a good view in the main sauna, there isn't anywhere pleasant to sit for any length of time when not bathing

Hare-Tabi Sauna & Inn Yokohama - ハレタビ -, Yokohama1 / 26

Yokohama, 216-2 Yamashita, Naka, Naka Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Had a wonderful stay at Hare-Tabi! I don’t speak Japanese but the staffs were so helpful using body language + translator to make everything happen! Unlike other capsule hotels where you only have a bed size area to yourself, Hare-Tabi allows you with a bit storage/ leg room next to the bed! Not to mention about their free sauna service included in your package ! It provides the best relaxation before...
There is a women-only area in the sleeping and bathroom areas, and showers are available until midnight. It's conveniently located just a 5-6 minute walk from Ishikawacho Station
When I checked in, they explained everything about my room and sauna usage times, and gave me a paper with the password and room number, which was very helpful
It was a very beautiful and clean accommodation! The front desk staff were also friendly and smiley. I wasn't able to use the sauna at the time, so I'd like to use it next time (*^^*)
You will find some quiet time to yourself using their services here. I’m sure you will enjoy the stay or even purely just the sauna service here!
It was my first time visiting. The space was stylish and relaxing. The sauna was humid enough that I sweated more than the temperature felt like.

Great place to stay and very accessible
The women's bath was cleaned properly, but the men's bath was dirty, and the husband seemed dissatisfied. You can go to Chinatown right away, the station is next door, and there are convenience stores a few doors away
I used the large public bath, but the dressing room and bath were compact, but I was able to relax in the bath where I could stretch my legs. In addition, we want to stay if there is opportunity
There is a large public bath that you can stay in until the morning, and the hot water was just right so you could soak in it as many times as you like
The room was on the 4th floor, so I couldn't enjoy the view from the window, but I could see the top of the Marine Tower from the window
It was very helpful to be able to use it at an affordable price even during the busy season of spring break

The room is not big, but very clean. The seats are by the sea, and the environment is very good. The breakfast is rich and tastes good. The service is very attentive, but not many people speak English well.
The hot spring facilities seemed a bit old, but they seemed well-maintained. The staff were friendly, and there was a shuttle bus to Yokohama, so it would be good to check in advance
There are really few room facilities for 999, but there is a rooftop where you can soak your feet and watch the night view of the Ferris wheel and a public bath with various hot springs
The location was good in Yokohama, but I found out when I got there that the amusement park in front was closed. I didn't have enough information in advance
It was good value for money considering the cost of hot springs + lodging + breakfast. Dinner was also delicious and ate to my heart's content for about 100,000 won for 4 people
The environment and location are quite good, the night view is beautiful, and the beautiful Yokohama Port can be seen

Initially, I was worried about the location and safety if I went home late at night, but after staying there, I realized the area is mostly residential with many working people; there were even people walking around at 10:40 pm! The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly to foreign tourists! I heard from nearby restaurants that this inn has been around for decades and has always had a great...
The basic English was good enough to understand the meaning, and the service was excellent. Especially the meal – they had everything imaginable: oden, tempura, fish fillets, and other small dishes
It had a long history, but everything was very clean, and the environment was very pleasant
I was quite hesitant when I booked this inn, there were no reviews about this inn, pictures looked a bit old. However, im glad I booked a night stay at this inn
Only the locals stayed at this inn before I guess, it’s such a wonderful stay. A small yet exquisite place, if you ever want to experience the very traditional Japanese lifestyle, you won’t regret spending a night here
If you're traveling between Yokohama and Kamakura, the location is excellent! Thank you for the owner's hospitality; I will definitely come back again if I have the chance ❤️

Although it's a little far from the station, there's a convenience store nearby, as well as a variety of restaurants, including izakayas, sushi restaurants, and ramen shops, so I was personally pleased with the excellent location
I had such a comfortable stay that I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity to visit Yokohama again in the future
Shampoo, body soap, rinse, and facial cleansing foam are provided in the bathroom
This was my first solo trip to Yokohama and I chose this hotel
It was also my first time using the Gran Customer Isezakicho branch, so I had many concerns, but I received very courteous assistance when I called in advance and when I spoke to the front desk directly
I love the all-you-can-eat curry. They also served rice with seasonings for dinner. Also, the jet bath in the large communal bath feels great on the shoulders and back. I'll definitely use them again.

There is a shower area with separate stalls. Many people tend to shower at night, so if you don't want to wait, it's best to shower before the cleaning time in the morning, or before 10 PM
Close from and to the Yokohama train station..Clean and nice shower bath...Friendly and kind front desk staff...Many good restaurants and shops around area. Safe neighborhoods..
For instance, no outside shoes in the capsule area: disposable slippers are provided once you arrive, so switch to those affter putting down your luggage. If you need an extra pair, you can grab one at the front desk
That was my first experience in that type of hostel. It was actually really nice after I experienced being in another one. It was just a bit difficult to remember my key and pushing unlock-but great for safety
Note that there is no longer luggage storage after check out, and the sauna/baths are men-only
The beds were clean, and there were enough communal showers and toilets. The lockers were a bit narrow, only big enough for daily essentials. Larger bags and suitcases had to be stored in the common storage room.

Sauna was hot enough, and all facilities were clean and equipped with all necessary stuff. Dining room is quiet small, but it unexpectedly has a massage chair, wow
I've just came into other hotel to ask about this capsule paradise, and it turned out that it's on this hotel's underground floor (how should I guess?) The stay itself was perfect
I stayed in a standard bed, which was larger than the newer capsule hotels, and there was a bath, so I was able to stay comfortably without any noise from nearby rooms
I was able to make a reservation for a Saturday night at a bargain price, even though many capsule hotels cost over 10,000 yen
The building is old-looking, but it was kept clean and it's close to the station, so I'll definitely use it again next time
Check-in was after 6pm and check-out was at 9am, which was just right for an early morning flight the next day
