Yokohama, 4-170, Noge (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We had a really positive experience.
Very clean and the staff are very polite & friendly.
The facilities are a bit old, clearly showing their age. However, you can tell that it was once a luxurious hotel. The hygiene and service are both good, and the location is quiet.
Suitable for budget accommodation. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean, I liked the parquet floor. However, there are stains on the carpet in the corridors. The staff is friendly.
It's not far from the station, but it's not on the main road. You have to go up a small hill, which is not too troublesome. The small street view is also good. Noge-koji is also quite famous. I was upgraded to a room for free. The room is very large. The toilet is also very large. The hotel is like the one from 20 years ago. I quite like the hotels of that period.
The location is great! Both Hinodecho and Sakuragicho stations on the Keikyu Line are within 5 minutes!
Be prepared for the hills to the hotel 😇

Yokohama, 1-5-6 Tsunashima Higashi (10 km from centre) 🧭 Map
There was a notice on the signboard that the building would be demolished and replaced with an apartment building. It's a shame because it was a comfortable inn with reasonable prices.
The corridors on each floor are dark
It was a better hotel than usual.
It will be the hotel with the strongest cost performance along the Toyoko Line! (Although it is a former love hotel)
I took a long bath while feeling something strange, such as a large bath.
There is a microwave oven and a DVD player in the room, so it is recommended to stay for consecutive nights.
There is also a kitchen-like space. (Gas appliances removed)
There...
The bath was very large like a hotel that was originally a renovated love hotel, and it was a waste to stay alone and the price was reasonable.
Extraordinarily spacious and comfortable compared to business hotels. There is also a washbasin, sink and microwave. The bath is also large. You can relax by taking a bath. Recommended for 2 nights or more.
The negative points were the cooperation with the parking lot and the lack of explanation in that area, but the correspondence was polite and good.

Yokohama, 4-173-5 Noge-cho, Naka-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The guesthouse is very cute, homey, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and overall I enjoyed my stay.
Just a few important things future guests should know: there is a hard curfew at 1:00am for returning to the guesthouse.
On my checkout day, I stayed about 15 minutes in the main common area at the entrance, to finish my tea and leave to my next destination and was asked to leave, which caught me off...
A wonderful little family-run guesthouse. Staying here feels like having a home in Yokohama. The hosts are very friendly and there are many thoughtful touches throughout the design to help familiarize guests with the house. Both private rooms and hostel style rooms available. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to the Tokyo area as it was much more cozy and comfortable than the more...
Stayed here for 3 days and it was perfect.
Walking distances to the Art gallery, Lawson, Pizza place and other nice spots. location is great.
It has good showers. The bed is traditional and very cozy. a/c gets very cold.
Everyone is so nice and speaks well. Very cozy and friendly.
I loved my stay here. First of all, and that is always very important to me - here I have met the most helpful and friendly hosts during my two week stay in Japan. Staying there felt homelike. Room is very comfortable and clean, also localization is great, near busy street with lots of restaurants and bars.
A well deserved 5 star experience for this traditional guest house which is located very stragically to most tourist destinations. Place is clean, quite and ambience is of godsmack quality. Very comfortable rooms with soft futon that will make you sleep ever so deeply. Owners speak decent English as well.
Highly recommended for a perfect stay that won't crack your budget.
Important note: They have...

This is a great price, especially for budget travelers.
I think the place is just great, especially that it is an actual room, and you can have breakfast. But a pillow is too small - had to use backpack to lift up a bit. Also, recommend asking for a room away from the kitchen. It is quite loud in the morning.
Great location near to Yokohama china town, and only 5 mins walk from train station, room is small but tidy and clean, shared toilets and bathrooms, you cannot ask for more at this price, one thing I have to point out if you’re with big and heavy luggage you must ready to handle it as the building has no lift.
Given the price, you can overlook a lot. I stayed in room 402. It was just big enough for a single bed, but the AC was powerful, and it was perfectly fine for a solo male traveler. The biggest advantage is its location: Chinatown and Yamashita Park are within walking distance, and it's close to the JR station, making most Yokohama attractions easily accessible. However, it's not recommended for solo...
Although the property is old, it had an apartment-like feel, and the showers and toilets were communal. However, it was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained, which allowed me to have a comfortable stay. A simple breakfast was also provided, and it was perfectly adequate.
People who complain about neighbourhood are partially right, because it's indeed not the best (a lot of cheap hostels there). But actually, it is still safe. (It is Japan!)
And yes, you get a WHOLE ROOM, and not just a capsule like in another hostels.
A young girl like me was completely okay and nothing bad happened during my four days stay there. The staff is friendly. I walked through all the Yokohama...

Location fantastic. But hostel told me must check in before 8pm. Fortunately I called before hand due to weather delayed transport to Yokohama. 8pm is too early to close reception. Bed uncomfortable, metal rods below thin mattress. They did not bother to add one more rod to balance out the weight. See photos. Other than above, good compact hostel.
This place was a great find! The owners are awesome and so were the guests! I made life long friends. It is right in the middle of Chinatown and within walking distance to the ocean! This was my best place to stay in my 14 day trip in Japan as a solo traveler! Very accommodating and it felt like home.
Run by a family and very close to China town. It’s small and cozy hostel good for short stay 1 or 2 days. all hostel is on same floor so you can’t talk in common area after 10 pm. I liked here.
Very clean, and they even provide bath towels and toiletries, which is very convenient! It's one of the top three hostels I've ever stayed in.
My brother and I both stayed here for a couple nights during our tour across Japan and it was a great time. It’s located in the heart China town which is arguably one of the more fun areas of this area. The bunk beds were spacious and got the job done nicely. There was character spread throughout the entirety of the Hostel and the owners, Ito and Rico were excellent hosts.

Flexstay Inn Kawasaki is located just under 1 km from Kawasaki Train Station. On the day that I arrived, I ended up being late due to travel from the previous location. First of all, it was very far from the station. Also, I thought it would be the same as other Flex Inns, but it was more like a room in an old apartment building, so it didn't feel like a hotel. The receptionist was kind.
Too far from the station, and the station is also too far from Narita.
There are four convenience stores nearby.
The best restaurant nearby is Royal Host.

Great location. The room was clean, and check-in was quick. Staff were polite and helpful. Would stay here again.
Cheap prices were my top priority. I originally wanted to store my luggage first, but the receptionist wasn't there. After waiting a while, I went back to the station to store it anyway.
After checking in in the afternoon, I went to a nearby shopping mall to see a movie with friends.
When I returned in the evening, I couldn't open the gate with the password.

2 mins walk to train station that gets you to any location. Nearby great shopping and eateries. Hotel staff is friendly.
The rooms are good & staff were friendly . Location is nearby to mrt & have plenty of shoppings area around b
Easy access from Haneda airport to Kamata, direct bus access from airport to Kamata station, Hotel is 5 min walk from Kamata station. A quiet, not tourist destination but lots of good food and shops around.
Located very close to Kamata station. It’s a modern looking, compact and clean hotel that has all the amenities we needed. I like that there were many plugs and outlets in the room, wifi information very easy to find and a clear information booklet in English and Japanese to explain how to use the electrical appliances in the room.
The hotel's location was decent, but the room was incredibly dry. I left some wet toilet paper that normally stays moist for two months, and it was completely dried out overnight.
Very convenient location! The hotel is right next to the JR station, making it super easy to get around. It also offers seamless access to Haneda Airport.

excellent big rooms for 3 people, location is really peaceful and quiet no crowds, we had a little problem during our check-in, but the hotel team was really supportive and friendly, so in total 5 out of 5❤️
Clean and comfortable, and the room facilities are quite good.
Hotel has promptly response and easy to self-check in but it’s quite far from train station with less taxi from train station
This was my first time staying here. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Kamata Station. They have everything you need, and I think it would be super convenient for longer stays. The room was also very clean, and I had a relaxing time. I'd definitely consider staying here again for future business trips.
No major issues, except the hotel is right next to a funeral parlor. If you don't mind that, then it's perfectly fine.
A very nice hotel. Facilities and amenities were generous. I planned to stay 1 night but ended up extended for 3 nights 😅 Would highly recommend this hotel for families and groups 👍

The check-in process was quite complicated and a bit of a hassle. Additionally, they do not offer a luggage storage service, which was very inconvenient for my travel plans. If you have an early arrival or late departure, keep this in mind.

Our host was caring and super helpful. He made sure the process was simple for check in and was available for anything we needed.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience to stay in your very own traditional Japanese house. It wasn't just one room; it was a whole house. Amazing experience. Totally recommend it.
Clean, welcoming, and great to spend time with family and friends. The staffs are very nice and friendly. I just love it.
It's hard to find. Parking is not convenient. The hotel is in an alley, very Japanese style. It's a bit inconvenient to carry luggage. Extremely comfortable beds and linens, with useful and luxurious touches throughout. You can feel the love and attention that has gone into this place. We didn't want to leave! Before booking we thought it would be good- it was so much more! The area is wonderful- lovely to walk around, good food.

Charming old house and an interesting experience but everything seems dilapidated and most doors feel like they are about to break.

Tokyo, Yutenji 2-15-7, Meguro-ku (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Hotel is served only by the Toyoko subway line. It’s 3 stations from Shibuya station. 10 minutes” walk from Yutenji station. Outside station exit, there’s a Family Mart and MacDonalds and a couple of restaurants. Hotel reception is efficient although can be slow as there is only one staff. Has coffee machine with coffee, tea and cocoa at hotel lobby. Room is clean.
Pros:
1. Easily walkable from Yutenji Station, with great accessibility to Shibuya, Nakameguro, Ginza, Omotesando, etc.
2. I liked the local feel, as it didn't feel like a typical tourist spot.
3. Equipped with a microwave, dishes, and even a washing machine, making for a very convenient stay.
4. They offered a luggage service before check-in and brought my bags up to the room before I arrived.

You can open two 28-inch suitcases, and even do some simple hotpot cooking. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the fridge isn't very cold. The location is great; it's on a very quiet street. The front desk staff are also very good and provide all sorts of things.
Yutenji is a good cheapo residential location. It’s mere walking distance from Nakameguro and Ebisu, and still having a little bit of vibrancy within the locality but without the high rental price tag of the cooler areas a short distance away.
Clean and functional. Close to train station and meguro is a lovely area.
Cool place near to places to eat and hang out

Tokyo, 1-22-19, Kitashinagawa (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My partner and I stayed here for the first 4 nights of our trip around Japan. The location is a continent 10-12 minute walk from Shinagawa station so we had no problem getting to wherever we needed to get to. Staff on site at reception are very friendly and happy to help 2 anything. There are washing machines and dryers on site which really helped out a lot!
Location of the inn is great! Right next to a konbini and a mart. There are izakayas and cafés nearby as well. Kitashinagawa station is just ahead, and Shinagawa Station is 10 minute walk away.
Amenities were tolerable for a 3 star hotel. The heater is not very effective. Otherwise, toilet, TV, microwave are OK.
Good Cleanliness.
Service was OK. Staff helped to carry my luggage. Check-in was OK...
Great location to the Shinagawa station nearest walking hotel ever! Easy check out process just leave the keys and go
I stayed here in April when I went to Tokyo, and it was super convenient. It's about a 12-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, but if you're going from Kita-Shinagawa Station, it's just a few minutes. Getting to Haneda Airport directly from Kita-Shinagawa only takes about 25 minutes, which is incredibly handy. There are several supermarkets nearby, and a breakfast bakery and coffee shop right next door...
Really nice hotel just few meters away from Kitashinagawa subway station. Really peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
Little old but very clean and good smelling rooms.
surrounding markets get close early and you can’t find any restaurant or shops late night, just family mart next to hotel.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, really great young team 😊

Fujisawa, Katasekaigan 2-15-15 (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Almost 5 stars, just because of the great location and great price. It has everything you (really) need: a bed (quite comfortable!), bathroom, shower, air conditioning, and a place to sit.
In my experience the beds were very clean, comfortable and the room was nicely air conditioned (maybe 25° C?) when we arrived. The beds are kind of capsule-hotel style where you are surrounded on all sides and have...
This guest house locates right behind the 江ノ島駅, very easy to find this guest house.
Great place to be home alone and see the beach
It’s so fun a chill and great for friends to hang out or a couple to relax or a family to have a great time! They’ve got a super cool basement with games and food and the whole vibe of the place feels like a place you could party in with your friends or have a great family night. It was very surprisingly clean for how small it was. It feels very modern and has nice amenities. It’s super close to the...
Like the place. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Also appreciate the private space, provided by curtains, though I was staying in the dorm. My dinner was good. The curry and pork was tasty.
It's very close to Enoshima, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very beautiful it all made by wood. It smells good.

Tokyo, 3-13-1 Takanawa (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Everything about the hotel was great. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station (JR Narita Express) with a large suitcase. However, this is the second time I've experienced an unexpected train delay on the Narita Express, and I almost missed my flight! I recommend not cutting it too close when booking train tickets.
Great location but as a lot of construction nearby, it made the journey from the train station to hotel not easy. Room is spacious and with a beautiful Japanese garden.
We are a family of 4 stayed there for 6 nights.
The hotel is dated but well maintained. Generally satisfactory. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable. We could sense that the mattresses were quite old.
Out of the 3 beds, only one is merely ok. One below par and one is bad. The bad bed gave you a very uncomfortable backache the next day. We complained to the hotel the next day. They changed the...
The room was spacious and nice, though the facilities were a bit old. The breakfast selection was limited.
The room was spacious and the location was convenient. The environment was quiet and beautiful.
I stayed here with my friends for a luxurious 'hokansu' (hotel vacation). The bathroom was spacious, and having two large mirrors made it really convenient for us girls to get ready. We booked a plan with breakfast, but we woke up late and missed the last order at Sakura Tower. However, we were able to have breakfast at the neighboring Takanawa without any extra charge, which was a lifesaver! It was...

Tokyo, 2-16-29 Takanawa, Minato-ku (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Conveniently located near Takanawa Gateway Station (Shinagawa area), with easy access to different parts of Tokyo. The room is reasonably spacious, and cleanliness is decent. Staff are friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
Great staff and service was excellent. Check-in and out was a breeze. Have always enjoyed Tokyu Stay hotels.
Unfortunately cleanliness could be better. Had bedbugs bites on the last night of our stay. Unsure if the limited housekeeping can be applied to a high traffic area like Tokyo
Close to subway & JR. the room is spacious & it was comfortable to do work from hotel.I booked the room with washing machine, which is very convenient to stay. This hotel will be my go-to hotel!
This hotel is perfect for introverts! You can opt for just towel changes or schedule a light cleaning, choosing whether or not staff enter your room based on your preference – it's incredibly thoughtful. There's a coffee machine downstairs available anytime. The first floor has a restaurant, and breakfast is served there. While the selection isn't huge, it covers all the essentials, including both...
Full amenities and facility with bath tub, so convinient go to metro and JR. Is really clean and the space is not small. Is great deals
Very convenient location, immediately next to the subway with elevator up (but only stairs down). Alternatively, you may choose the jr which is within 5mjn walk.
Great place to stay. However, there are no shopping centres nor large supermarkets in the area. The new gateway shopping mall is a choice though, but not much to shop unless u target for high priced goods

Tokyo, 2 Chome-6-1 Daiba, Minato (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The views are nice. The breakfast selection on the 1st floor has gotten smaller, but the restaurant on the 30th floor is still quite good.
The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, which was great for relaxing. Check-in was very quick, thanks to the front desk staff. The room temperature was perfect, the air conditioning was quiet, and the bedding was comfortable.
This is the best hotel location in Odaiba, with direct skybridge access to AquaCity and DiverCity. It's incredibly convenient for shopping. The hotel service is also very attentive, and the facilities are excellent! Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very good service overall, but I had to leave a 4 star for overall, the room we were assigned was very loud and my 3 years old had trouble falling asleep.
Other than the above, everything was exceptional, the housekeeping team who cleaned our room daily saw that we had a lot of empty bottles of water, and they did refill with the room with enough water without having us to call and request for more...
The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and excellent service. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The light show downstairs, especially with Christmas approaching, was absolutely beautiful.
The view from the room is so special. It was so lovely. I did not close the curtain at night just because I wanna see the fantastic view when I open my eyes. You can see X’mas fireworks from your window as well.
