Yokohama, 5-25-3 Kaigan-dori, Naka Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Small room but fully equipped with amenities and functions
Overall it was good, but... Check-in wasn't smooth. They showed me my reservation on my smartphone and I was able to complete the process, but I accidentally left my phone with them when I went to my room. When I returned to the front desk and explained the situation, they treated it as lost, and it took some time to get it back. I was also made to sign a lost property report.
I mean, they just didn...
I visited for the first time in three years, and it is still excellent. First of all, the location is great for sightseeing in the center of Yokohama. The hotel is large and luxurious, and well-equipped with amenities such as a restaurant, convenience store, swimming pool (limited time), large public bath, massage chairs, ice machine, and microwave. I especially loved being able to grill various fish...
I really liked this level of service for this price.
I was very satisfied. It was my first time visiting Yokohama from Hokkaido. The scenery and the room were so beautiful, it was almost too luxurious for me. My trip to Yokohama was so enjoyable. I'll come again.
I booked a single room but got a large room with twin beds, which was great. It's also close to the amusement park area.

Yokohama, 1-101-1 Sakuragi-cho, Naka-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is very close to Sakuragicho Station, Yokohama Air Cabin, and Minato Mirai.
The room at the end of the hotel offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji.
It's also quick to get to other Kanagawa cities like Kamakura and Zushi.
The hotel is fairly clean, just a bit small, but you can't expect too much from a standard business hotel.
There's a 24-hour 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient...
The room was a bit small, but the environment was great, offering direct views of Yokohama's nightscape. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also plentiful. Highly recommend booking with breakfast!
This hotel's location is truly ideal. We were lucky to get a room on a higher floor with a great view, which was beautiful in the distance. The breakfast in the morning was extensive. You can also decide to buy breakfast vouchers upon arrival if you see something you like.
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay because it's near the attractions within the city. I recommend the place if you want to explore Yokohama. The staff are nice and very accommodating.
We stayed for 1 night when travelling to Yokohama. Excellent location right next to JR station and many restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Our room is spacious for a family of 4 and even has a nice view overlooking the cosmo21. Easy and quick check-in/out process. Would love to stay longer next time. Highly recommended to everyone.
The location is super convenient, right across from Yokohama Sakuragicho JR Station. The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. The room with a view faces Yokohama Port directly, and the night view is stunning! The breakfast is rich and even includes sashimi, definitely a cut above the room itself.

Yokohama, 5-chome-53 Chojamachi Naka Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Super spacious. Easy to find. There is the elevator near by but have to walk across the street. There is the park near this hotel with beautiful sakura too. The room is big and clean. I wish to stay here again. The staff can speak english very well too.
The hotel's front desk is on the second floor, and there's a convenient store downstairs, which is really handy for buying things. The subway station is right outside, making it super easy to get around. It's also just a 20-minute walk to Chinatown. Just a heads up, you need to insert your key card for the power outlets in the room to work.
The front desk guy spoke Chinese, which was a nice surprise! Luggage storage and check-in were smooth and friendly. Self check-out was easy. The environment is great, much more comfortable than Tokyo or Osaka.
The hotel is a bit old, but the room and bed are very spacious, perfect for a pilgrimage for Yakuza fans. It's not located near the main attractions, but there's a subway station right downstairs, about 4-5 stops from Yokohama Station, and a taxi to Chinatown costs around 1000 JPY.
This place is kind of a hidden gem in Yokohama
Great location, right near train station, a nice park, plenty of food and drink options, rooms are priced right, decent sized, carpeted, fresh towels daily, it’s quiet and tucked away from the main street but close enough to walk to quickly enough
They have a buffet breakfast that looks great (haven’t tried yet)
Book it!
Highly recommended!
Edit on 2...
The hotel is located next to a subway station but in a very quiet part of town. It's a bit dated, but everything is functional. They gave me a room twice as large as the typical small room in Japan. Breakfast is average, but the restaurant is very spacious. I've stayed in several hotels of the same chain. This is is not the best. Staff a bit rigid.

We had a really positive experience.
Very clean and the staff are very polite & friendly.
The facilities are a bit old, clearly showing their age. However, you can tell that it was once a luxurious hotel. The hygiene and service are both good, and the location is quiet.
Suitable for budget accommodation. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean, I liked the parquet floor. However, there are stains on the carpet in the corridors. The staff is friendly.
It's not far from the station, but it's not on the main road. You have to go up a small hill, which is not too troublesome. The small street view is also good. Noge-koji is also quite famous. I was upgraded to a room for free. The room is very large. The toilet is also very large. The hotel is like the one from 20 years ago. I quite like the hotels of that period.
The location is great! Both Hinodecho and Sakuragicho stations on the Keikyu Line are within 5 minutes!
Be prepared for the hills to the hotel 😇

Great location, right next to the entrance of Chinatown, perfect for a Yokohama city walk from south to north. The MM Line and JR/JH lines are just a few minutes' walk away. The room was clean and quiet, and noticeably more spacious with a larger bed than the same room type at the Daiwa in Kumamoto. Plus, it turns out this was a filming location for a Japanese drama (no wonder it looked so familiar...
The location is great, close to Yokohama Stadium and Chinatown, and feels very safe. The facilities are complete, and there are many convenience stores nearby. The service is excellent; the staff are polite and always willing to help. The environment is nice, very bright, and modern. The cleanliness is also very good.
A very clean hotel room and spacious too!
I was able to mirror my iPad to the tv too which is useful!
The hotel's location is a bit far from Yokohama Station, but it's close to Chinatown and Yamashita Park. It would be perfect if it were closer to a subway or train station. Overall, it's pretty good!
The hotel's location is fantastic, making it super convenient for getting around. It's really close to the Yokohama International Cruise Terminal, and just a 10-minute walk to Yamashita Park and Chinatown. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean. The cleanliness needs to be improved. The yukata provided by the hotel has many hairs left on the clothes, which looks like the one left by the previous person. It‘s not just washed and changed! The same to the bedsheets .. hairs were seen ! It’s just disgusting

The hotel is incredibly convenient, right next to JR Sakuragicho Station. Self-check-in was a breeze, and the lobby offers complimentary amenities like disposable towels, bath salts, and facial masks. Breakfast on the first floor was excellent, and there's even a train museum there.
Very satisfied with the service, and the transportation nearby is very convenient.
A wonderful stay! My friends and I each booked a "Superior Single Room" for our trip, and I found the room size just right for one person. It's a standard budget hotel, located in a convenient area in each city, so there are almost no problems. Plus, the price includes breakfast, making it my go-to choice whenever I visit major cities in Japan. However, this time, perhaps because there were too many guests, the bowls for breakfast ran out and weren't replenished in time. If you arrive late, some dishes are also unavailable and won't be...
The breakfast was delicious. Check-in was easy, and I would like to stay here again.
It's a shame there weren't any non-smoking rooms, but the room was clean and it was close to the subway, so access was great. ✨
I'd love to use it again.
The only amenity in the room was a toothbrush set. Guests were required to bring anything they needed, including sleepwear, from the lobby.
This was the first time I had to ask the reception for a toothbrush.
The room was clean.
I was a little bothered by the sound of neighbors opening and closing doors, which seemed to echo.
Check-in was smooth, and breakfast was delicious. I checked in late at night, but perhaps because of that, it wasn't crowded. I would definitely like to stay again.

Good service and many kinds of guest room essentials and guest room amenities provide.
Location was good. However, breakfast was served in the Café below the hotel. The queue for breakfast and wait was long .
Great hotel location 👍 Everything was good.
The location is great! You can walk to Sakuragicho to take the cable car 🚡, and the subway station nearby is also very close. There's a Saizeriya and a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is super convenient!
The hotel's location is super convenient, right near Kannai Station, and there's a food street with tons of restaurants just across the road. It feels quite secure too, as you need to use your key card to operate the elevators. You can grab daily necessities from a self-service dispenser, and the room rate offers great value for money. Because I was planning a road trip and needed to return the car, I wanted to find a convenient parking spot near a national highway, so I chose Masahiro, but it turned out to be in the heart of Yokohama. Shopping and sightseeing are very convenient, but it's not ideal for road trips. Parking is in an automated garage, and it costs 2000 yen per night.
The location was good and I enjoyed it. I would like to use it again.
I liked it very much. The food was delicious and it's close to the subway.
Convenient transportation, has a bathhouse, provides breakfast, clean and comfortable, nothing special.
Temperature in the room is terrible. There’s big note saying that temperature is central controlled and front desk will adjust for us. Unfortunately we were told it’s auto set for 24 degree in the end of Spring. They only can offer a table fan to cool us down. My hubby was sweating all night long. He was wet through the bed sheet. Very dissatisfied. No more coming back to Route-Inn. Can you imagine...

The location is in the center of Yokohama however the space of room is very tiny and the parking might be full and you have to go somewhere else. The staff there are very nice.
Location is good, close to China town and not far from the waterfront. There are plenty of convenient store nearby. Staff is very helpful. However, amenities seem to be old and aesthetically not the best.

The only hotel we disliked on this trip to Japan.
To start, we had booked four rooms. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn't find the reservation for one of them. Our group of ten ended up waiting endlessly in the lobby. I asked if they could at least give us the key cards for the three confirmed rooms while we sorted out the missing one with Ctrip. The front desk staff flatly refused. I then suggested...
Before our trip, I'd read some reviews and cautioned my friends not to set their expectations too high. We actually stayed for three nights, occupying three rooms. One couple in our group had mistakenly booked a double room for single occupancy, but the staff at check-in immediately helped us rectify it – they were incredibly accommodating! The front desk also offered a variety of complimentary drinks...
Facilities: The facilities are just okay; it's an older hotel with a very small lobby.
Cleanliness: Cleanliness was a significant issue. The bedding wasn't very clean. They didn't have non-smoking rooms, so we were given a smoking room, which meant the sheets had holes and the room smelled unpleasant. The quadruple room had a spring bed that was extremely uncomfortable 😖.
Environment: The overall environment...

This hotel is great! It's right next to Chinatown and just a short walk to the subway station. Highly recommend!
The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Chinatown, making it incredibly convenient for dining. The beds in the rooms are quite large, unlike typical twin beds. Although the hotel is a bit old, the cleanliness is decent. However, on our last night, around 4 AM, a drunk Japanese guest tried to open our room door. While they didn't succeed, it genuinely scared us. We immediately reported it...

It's a great hotel! Loved every minute I stayed there. It was about 40 minutes from tokyo proper and reasonably priced. They have english speaking staff and free toothbrushes and bath supplies. The bed and room were decently sized for Japan. Honestly I would love to stay here again!
