Hotel is quite old especially the bathroom.my kids dont like their shower.extra fee for car parking.

The air conditioning is ancient! It's hard to control the water temperature in the bath! The room is too far away! The price for the buffet was different from what was listed on the website! The staff who handled foreigners were good, though!

Hotel is on the mountain with very good view of the whole harbour! Breakfast included was very good with plenty choices of food! Staff are very helpful and car park provided is reasonable!
Down side of this hotel are the condition if the whole hotel was too old and out of maintenance, I been here 8 years ago while the decoration and interior are still the same old fashioned design from maybe 2 decades ago! Illumination in the the bath room and bed room was insufficient , and toilet was as small as a cage that you can barely turn around! You can see torn out wallpaper and wear out mark everywhere! This hotel really needs renovation, not to waste such a good location and good view!

Nice Japanese style hotel
Clean and good service
Night view is great

15.09.2025 Guest

There was a cockroach in the room, which made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning.

19.08.2025 Guest

The building was old, and the room itself seemed like it hadn't been used in quite some time; for instance, the kettle was too dirty to even consider using. The air conditioning was also an older, portable unit. I did develop a slight cough starting the next day, which made me a bit worried, but thankfully, it didn't turn into anything serious, and I was able to continue with my sightseeing plans.

12.08.2025 Guest

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. It primarily features Japanese home-style dishes, along with salads, yogurt, and tasty bread and coffee.

The hotel is conveniently located if you have a car, but it's a bit of a walk from Nagasaki Station if you're relying on public transport.

However, the views of Nagasaki from the hotel are simply breathtaking!

The rooms are traditional tatami style, and they use physical keys instead of card keys.

If you're driving, parking costs 500 JPY, and there's also an accommodation tax of 100 JPY per person collected at check-out.

Overall, this is definitely a hotel I'd love to stay at again on my next visit to Nagasaki.

10.08.2025 Guest

The night view is still as breathtaking as it was a decade ago. Given its long history, the facilities are admittedly quite dated, but for a one-night stay, it offers fantastic value for money. Both dinner and breakfast were superb. The only slight letdown was the large communal bath, but overall, it's an ideal choice for groups.

20.07.2025 Guest

Nice view but the hotel from 70s needs complete remodelling. Public areas are dark and dirty. Rooms are large but uncovered blankets with just a sheet thrown over do not meet hygiene standards. Far from restaurants, you need to take a shuttle bus if you want to go for dinner.

26.04.2025 Hanaki

Hibiki Inn is situated on a hill. While it's over 400 steps on foot from Nagasaki Station, there's a free shuttle bus service available. The inn itself is a bit dated, but its main appeal is the excellent value for money, and the rooms offer night views of Nagasaki city.

What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
