Hotel Urbansea 2 Matsuo, Naha1 / 13

Naha, 2-8-45 Matsuo (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Before checking in, I was told there was a PIN, which I assumed was the room password. I entered it incorrectly, and the room lock got disabled. I also didn't notice that the actual password was below the room number on the screen. What's the point of giving out a PIN if it's not the room code? I had to contact customer service, and the entire conversation was in English, which made communication difficult...
1. Located in an alley next to Kokusai-dori, approximately the distance to all three stations. 2. There are four parking lots of varying sizes nearby. 3. Do not open the balcony curtains on lower floors. 4. Please clean the indoor unit filter. The kitchen utensils provided are great, but please check their quantity and condition.
This is my third night in Okinawa, and I stayed here the first night as well. Tonight's room is 603... I think the room is a bit small because it's sandwiched in the middle, but it's small yet has everything you need. However, could the refrigerator and sink be made smaller to fit the space? I have to move the mattress to open the refrigerator, and the pillows are too soft to support my neck. Next...
I'm so glad I booked this hotel! It's incredibly close to the Kokusai-dori shopping district, just a 1-minute walk. If you have a car, there's a parking spot next door for 24 hours for only 1100 yen. While the hotel's 9-hour parking (I forget the exact number) is also cheap at 900 yen, parking next door for an overnight stay is the best deal.
Facilities: Standard Japanese layout. Cleanliness: Bedding was fairly clean, but there was some dust and trash in the corners of the room. Environment: Very close to Kokusai-dori Street; there's that popular rice ball shop right outside. The subway is about a 15-minute walk away. Overall, I'm satisfied.
Surprisingly clean and spacious. Highly recommend although the location is not very conveniently located near the monorail station.

This is truly an impeccable hotel! Spacious! Well-equipped! Close to Kokusai-dori! The location is super convenient! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Okinawa 👍👍😁
The facilities were well-equipped and I was able to stay comfortably.
The location is great. There's a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven just a minute's walk away, and Max Value and Kokusai Street are just five minutes away, so it was very convenient. Having a washing machine, large refrigerator, and microwave was convenient for my stay. The room is spacious and easy to use. Cons I thought it would be convenient to have a mirror with a light, but The batteries in the...
The room is large and comfortable.
It was very close to Kokusai Street, and there were convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it was not a problem. The room was very spacious and clean, and the quality at this price made for a very luxurious trip.

The hotel is in a good location and the room is relatively spacious by Japanese standards. However, the buffet breakfast is very simple, and the breakfast area can be quite crowded and rowdy in the morning, which makes the experience uncomfortable.
The service was great, and breakfast was decent. However, on the very first day, we found cigarette butts by the bed, and neither of us smokes.
The room was spotless, the location was incredibly convenient, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel price was very reasonable. Definitely worth a five-star rating! Okinawa is also a beautiful place, worth another visit!
Amazing room, amanities and staff. Really recommend to stay here for couples and if you want a nice place to get to know Naha. Also big breakfast was included.
Staff very accomodating, room was spacious, the location was convenient, we had a wonderfil stays.
The room was tiny, definitely more suitable for one person, but that's typical for Japan compared to back home. Despite its size, it was fully equipped and functional, plus super clean and tidy. The breakfast selection was decent, and the restaurant itself was huge, available for free use day and night. Given the price, it's incredible value for money, haha!

This is the ideal place for solo travelers to reside. Great staff and great location! Would recommend!
Wonderful staff and effective system. I speak Japanese so I don't know how English-friendly it is on whole.
For the price, the place is great. The location is superb. Very close to the monorail station, shopping street, food joints and bars. You get good breakfast included in the package. The place is neat and clean and people are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
Nice staff, clean establishment and useful things like towels, toothbrushes and etc are provided. It is really cheap especially for the good location
I got to eat curry for breakfast. Stayed at their place. They were incredible.

Really solid, near everything i wanted to do. Internet could've been a bit better but it got the job done. Right next to a really good curry spot. Would certainly book again.
Good location between the city center and the port.
The location and the atmosphere of the building were good, but the staff's service was a bit businesslike and lacked warmth. The room was also noticeably a bit old, and some areas were not properly cleaned. Also, the noise from the neighbors at night bothered me, making it difficult to sleep, which was disappointing. As I did not receive the service I expected for the price, I will need to think a...
Everything else is good except that the front desk and the accommodation are not in the same place, which is very confusing for newcomers
Both the location and the accommodation are very good, the only thing we didn't like at all was that when we arrived at the accommodation there was no one anywhere and we had to find a thousand ways to be able to check in, since we had to go to another Mr. Kinjo to give us the keys to enter the room, otherwise it was fine.
The hotel was clean and very spacious... Very well located and easy to access... I loved the place!

It was clean and nice to stay. We definitely would love to stay here again! The location was excellent!
Clean, quiet and close to restaurants and convenience stores. We would stay again.
Very nice experience. The staff is very helpful, we had a traffic jam on the day of arrival, but he waited us and provided professional service. The hotel is clear and we enjoyed. The parking site was a bit snall but the staff changed to a bigger parking site for us. So satisfied.
Room was a little warm during the days, could use an upgraded A/c and also a dryer too.
The staff was quite nice and patient. Location of the building is near the city.

The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were very kind. I would like to use it again.
The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of amenities and a comfortable stay. Check-in was self-service so it was very easy and didn't take long. At night, there was someone (a child?) on the floor above who was running around and it was very noisy so I called the staff, but they seemed half asleep and didn't do anything to improve the situation. If only that hadn't happened it would have been...
The mattress is too soft; there are too few hooks in the shower room and they should be attached to the upper corners to prevent clothes from getting wet
Overall not bad. The floor is too thin and the sound of walking upstairs is very loud.
This is my second time staying here. It's very convenient as there are supermarkets and shopping facilities nearby. I think it's very convenient for long-term stays.
I stayed here for my child's exam. It's in a residential area, on a quiet back street, so it was great for students. If you rent a car, it's about 10 minutes to Chatan and about 30 minutes to the airport. The room was well equipped and clean. There was a grave right in front of the entrance, so it was a little scary to go shopping at night. The floors inside were all marble-like, so it was very cold...

Rooms are small but you don't really need anything bigger if you plan to be outside adventuring. The bed was a bit too soft, basically your body sank into the mattress but it was still a rather comfortable sleep. Practical for somewhere to rest, refresh and do your laundry (washing machine provided) and within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants (walking routes look farther on google...
I have to update this as it's been a while. Excellent place to stay. Close to all the convenience of Kokusai street. I've come back here several times. **I have to be honest, the place is not holding up well. Cleaning is not good. Dust everywhere. The aircon is always broken in some way. This time we have tissue stuck out of it to stop drips. The rooms have sinks, microwaves and hobs, but...
So so the map information must be clear and phone number
I gave this a 5 star as we stayed in the new building. It was a huge room with fridge, washer and I believe it's a combo with dryer. You need to bring your own detergent. The bed was new and didn't smell, the topper on the bed did move around a bit for us when sleeping. There was a hot water boiler in our room and there was free Japanese breakfast in the morning. For the negatives which I do not think...
Love the separate toilet and bath, the good location, 6 mins walk to Makishi station, 15 mins to international market, free smartphone which I didn’t use, free beverages at ground floor. Bed is too soft, balcony is dirty, store room took up a lot of space which is quite redundant
Very nice place, super clean and convenient. Great location (both quiet and close to transportation). Free soft drinks (at least no one charged us for them so far...) The only problem we had was with the bed (way too soft) and there was also a small window to the corridor without a curtain (during the night we had to block the incoming light using a towel). But given the price, the cons are negligible...

Both the room and the toilet are big. If you stay for three nights in a row, there will be no housekeeping to clean the room. Room is big but not clean enough
Very friendly people. The room was just OK for cleanliness and modernization, however the large, deep tub made up for any other oddness, such as wires coming directly from a rough hole punched in the wall for this purpose.

The hotel is old and if you wanna sleep well , it’s impossible because there are a lot of noise from street. But it was so cheap and the location is in the best area of Naha with a lot of Izakaya , supermarkets and restaurants .
The location is right in the center of International Street, so I recommend it to those who want to stay up late and look around. However, the facilities are old, so there is a strong moldy smell.
Basic hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff
The hotel is in a good location. There are no large quilts in the room. There is no air-conditioning in the corridors and elevators. The air is not circulated and is full of heat and a bad smell!
The location is great. The front desk is currently undergoing renovations, which was a bit discouraging at first. There is only the bare necessities, but it's enough for a place to sleep. Good value for money!
Although the hotel is quite old, the room is spacious and close to the center. Very convenient

Old hotel in good location. Normal 11am checkout is good. Free day drinks in lobby. But Other places can give you better for the same price. Tiny room not enough for any luggage, or even two people. Tiny bathroom and shower can barely turn around in. Hard bed. One tiny pillow. Internet is slow and drops out every 5-10 minutes. They will knock on doors before checkout time and make noise outside waking...
Decent older hotel near ashibashi. Underground parking is nice to have. Front desk also speaks English. Free drinks in lobby. Small but clean room. Raised step plastic bathroom. Water bottles given. Few tv channels. Wifi works. Tiny fridge froze my food. No laundry. Normal 11am checkout.
The hotel is near the monorail station. But far from the beaches. Breakfasts are good - some of the food is Japanese, some is European. It's bad that the staff doesn't know English very well and the signs are all in Japanese. In general, Okinawa doesn't welcome foreign tourists. Mostly, its own people are there.
It's about a 5-minute walk from Asahibashi Station, so it's convenient for both the airport and sightseeing. It has the feel of a Showa-era hotel. The facilities are old, but well-maintained. The indirect lighting is nice, too. There are plenty of amenities, including tea, snacks, and mineral water. The breakfast is particularly noteworthy. They serve very high-quality food, including homemade Okinawan...
The location is excellent. The room is well maintained and has all the necessary facilities. The downside is that the facilities are old and the air conditioner is not cold enough. Overall, it is still quite good. I will consider staying again next time.

Had trouble operating the washing machine. Front desk wasn’t able to help. Suggest they give clearer instructions on how to figure it out. Other than that the hotel was great. Very good location. Walking distance to the Kokusai Dori. Photos are views from the hotel room and the park across the canal.
Best location, just few mins walk from one of the monorail stations, and 2nd floor of hotel is connected to a 2 tiers Dondondonki, along the way from monorail station to hotel there’s 7-11 and family mart!
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Tsubogawa Station, which is four monorail stops from the airport. It's in the same building as a Don Quijote supermarket, with a direct back entrance to the supermarket on the second floor, which is incredibly handy. The front desk lobby is very spacious, and they offer complimentary coffee and Okinawan specialty liquor. There's also...
We understand that prices are often higher during Chinese New Year, but we paid HK$2,408 per night including breakfast for two—about three to four times the lowest room rate—and stayed for three nights. At this price point, we expected better maintenance. The air conditioning and the bathroom ventilation both had a noticeable odor and clearly needed deep cleaning. Every day, black particles were blown...
First time at this hotel and stayed for 3 nights! The hotel is strategically located, 10-15 mins walk to the popular Kokusai Dori street, right above Mega Don Quijote that holds a wide variety of products and is open till 3am daily, a <5min walk to Tsubogawa station and a <15min ride to Naha airport. The hotel also provides free access to coffee and alcohol at selected timings, and the room comes...
One bed per person, which made for a good night's sleep. The location is super convenient; a taxi to the airport costs around 1500 yen, and you can also take the tram. It's a 10-minute walk to Kokusai-dori, and there are delicious Okinawa soba restaurants, Western-style cafes, and an excellent yakiniku place nearby.

Nice clean room with free bar :) not too far from Donqi mall. The staff very nice. (For long stay, you may ask for keep clean up the bin because the maid will not get in the room)
Buffet beer the best in the area
Great location, room felt older but amenities cannot be beat with free ice cream, beer, skincare, and laundry washer/dryer.
Perfect lication with free brer
The room and bathroom were tiny, but the hotel's location was excellent, very close to Don Quijote and the Daiichi Makishi Public Market. It was great that the room had disinfectant spray for personal use. The lobby offered a free self-service snack bar, but luggage storage was only allowed until 3 PM. Overall, a good experience.

The clean, spacious rooms are the best thing, and it's great that the washroom, toilet, and shower are separate. There's a kitchen that's convenient for making small meals, as well as a refrigerator, dryer, and washing machine. The view is also great. I've stayed at similar accommodations in Naha City, but this one is the best, in terms of cost performance.
Cleanliness and location are the greatest features of this hotel. Good washing machines and dryers were provided. However, the overall experience isn’t satisfactory enough. First of all, there were conflicting check in time information (I.e. 1900 and 1600) given by the hotel and contacting Trip wasn’t helpful either. Fortunately speaking through intercom,  we were allowed to check in at 1620. During...

There is a washing machine and dryer in the room which is very convenient
There were blood stains under the pillow. I was shocked when I moved the pillow.
This place is a great value, especially as it includes kitchen and laundry and a usable balcony. It's a 10-minute walk from the monorail station, and there's a family mart next door plus many other restaurants nearby including a Starbucks and McDonald's. I may be there again. Good service ! I lost my ear pod, the security tried hard to look for it for me. Location is not that well. 10-15 minutes walk to station. Area is red light district but no bother me if I ignore all solicitation. Okinawa is kind of behind than the Japan mainland, no subway! Tropical weather if I go winter season. I may may go again if I find a reason to go.
The room is small, self-service check-in/out, parking is paid, and you need to get a card from the counter to exit the parking lot. There is a hot spring area on the second floor where you can soak for free. It is very close to Kokusai-dori.
It was clean, the facilities were good, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again. I stayed in a capsule, and was able to take a dip in the hot springs, so it was great value for money.
Although it was located in the entertainment district, it was quiet even during Golden Week. My flight was delayed and I arrived at the hotel after 1am, but a friendly man at the front desk helped me out a lot. There was also a bath, so I was able to relax after my trip. I was grateful that the price was less than 10,000 yen for a room only, even during Golden Week.
Good hotel in general. Just located a bit far from the center and not really transportation nearby. Otherwise all good
The capsule was spacious and big enough for a solo traveller. The matress was okay, could be more comfy. Bathroom and shower were clean. Hot water and WiFi were available all the time. The staff was friendly and helpful.
