Reviews
The room had bunk beds and was clean.
There were two spiders in the private bathroom, but the shower pressure was stronger than the rock bath, so if the rock bath is busy, the private bathroom is a viable option.
The staff recommended paying an additional 1100 yen for dinner, saying that on the first day you could get sashimi and on the second day you could get extra meat (they didn't specify what would be added), so we opted for the extra portion.
On the first day, we got 5 slices of sashimi per person, which I thought was a little small, but it was delicious, so I was satisfied.
On the second day, we had yakiniku (grilled meat) for an additional 3300 yen, but the only extra item we received was the chicken wings shown in the picture (vegetables, sausages, etc., seem to be included in the basic plan and were not added), and we only got 2 pieces per person. I felt this was far too expensive.
Until we asked the staff, they didn't clearly indicate what the extra portion was, which was quite frustrating.
I felt that 1100 yen for 2 pieces of chicken wings was far from reasonable, even considering island prices.
The bento box contained two rice balls and a side dish in one pack, and it was delicious.
The accommodation and lunch box were generally reasonably priced, and I was mostly satisfied, so I was very disappointed that the extra-charge meal was quite meager.
The meals were delicious after the hard work every day, and I enjoyed drinking Yakushima shochu every night with them as snacks.
When there are many guests, the large public bath is very comfortable to use, and although it's a little further away, I also recommend public baths with good quality water such as Onoma Onsen (there are some local rules).
And thanks to the host's soothing personality and the fact that he taught me all about the island, I was able to get through the tough work.
I'll definitely make time for it and stay again.
Thank you so much, host!
am. There are not many places to eat due to the location, so meals are included
We recommend staying at
There is also a washing machine, etc., so there is no inconvenience for long-term stays such as on-site
I can spend it.
The point I want to improve is staying in the annex, so go to the bathhouse
It is necessary to go outside to another facility during the night, but at night
I wanted
Recommended for those who use it for work, including meal content etc.
am.
There seems to be a Japanese-style room, but it became a cottage because it was a Western-style room. It was a bunk bed, so I couldn't deny the feeling of a forest school, but lol
I searched online and found that there was Wi-Fi equipment, but it seems that it is only in the main building (Japanese-style room), and I wish I had made more detailed special notes.
I only had breakfast for the rice, but it was very fresh because it contained vegetables made on the farmland next door.
The next time I use it, I wanted to use a Japanese-style room.
There is a rock bath, and when the number of people is small, I can't take it because I can't save it, but we were lucky enough to take it! !!
The temperature was good for adults so that they could get rid of their tiredness.
So it was highly evaluated overall ^ ^
Also, although there were two bath times, they could only be used during one time slot. The bath has a window that you can look into, and concrete blocks are piled up outside, so it seems that it is there for peeping. To be honest, I think you should pay a little more and stay at a hotel near the port or airport.
