I was very pleased with the polite service from the reception staff to the restaurant staff. The room was clean and the amenities were impeccable, so I had a comfortable stay. I was really happy to have a large bath and sauna. It was great for relieving fatigue. The restaurant is delicious, so I recommend it.
It was a Japanese-style room for four people, and it was spacious and nice.
Perfektes Hotel. Very good service. Good stay also for henros. I will come Back soon
The breakfast is a Japanese set meal, which is very exquisite and delicious. We stayed in a Japanese-style room, which was spacious and comfortable with tatami. There was also a small entrance hall with a shoe cabinet, which was very convenient. The hotel lobby is European in style, with a bit of a classical feel, giving people a high-end feel. If you drive yourself, the parking lot is free and...
Good hotel service The front desk service is very good and willing to solve all problems. The hotel has a coin-operated washing machine. Remember to bring your own laundry detergent. The parking lot is large and no reservation is required. There is no convenience store nearby where you can walk to buy things. It is suitable for driving. The Japanese-style hotel with hot springs is very comfortable
The hotel was clean and elegant with classic furnishings. The food was good in both evening and morning, and it looked and tasted good.

We were plenty surprised with the hotel and its facilities after a long ride up. It is a beautiful property nestled in the mountains and is the best stay we ever had in Japan!
The hot spring was also very pleasant and I was able to relax. The steak at dinner was quite fatty, so perhaps it would have been better cooked medium or better? I was very full. I recommend this place for a relaxing, leisurely stay.
Fantastic stay here, look forward to next time.
Enjoyable stay. Very nice food but style. gets repetitious after a couple of meals.
Anyway the food is great. The people working there are wonderful, and it's nice to be able to choose your food if you stay for a long time. The room is a little dated. The walls are not white. There is a desk, but it is an integral type of dresser, and my back hurts when I work at the desk for a long time. I can work to some extent, but it hurts that there is no safe or TV. There is a bath in the...
The room was spacious and stylish, and the scent of Japanese cypress made me feel like I was in a mountain hut in the forest. The meal was so much that it was painful, but it was delicious. Seared bonito and dried horse mackerel for breakfast were very delicious. The bath was beautiful and there were few people and it was comfortable. I feel that my skin has become a little smoother. It was nice to...

Kochi, Kitahonmachi, 02/04/2008 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I stayed here while on a pilgrimage. The bathtub in the room was very small, so the private bath was very helpful. There was also a coin laundry and free bicycle rentals, and it was great that it was close to the station.
It's very convenient as it's very close to Kochi Station. The hotel has a retro atmosphere that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to the Showa era. The bathroom in the room was also clean. The manga section had a very extensive lineup, with almost all of the latest hits.
The facilities are old, but they are well-maintained and comfortable. The staff are very kind and I was very satisfied with the service. I recommend it.
Super friendly and helpful Reception staff made the stay here very relaxing. Good clean rooms with A/C, big comfortable beds and a coin laundry make it an ideal stay, especially for walking Henro. Very good value.
Los Inn was a decent place for a reasonable price (¥4200/night), we stayed with four in a room with 2 beds and 2 futon. The room itself wasnt that big but it was spacious enough for us to not feel crammed up. The bathroom was very small though, with a toilet, sink, and bath(with shower). The thing that sucks up the heat wasn't that strong so the warmth of your shower was lingering around for a while...

The room is big, the location is excellent, the service is good, I recommend it.
It's very conveniently located right in front of the station. The room was well-cleaned, and the bed was good and comfortable. I would like to use it again.
The air conditioner in the room has no cooling function, only heating. It's too hot, and the window can't be opened. It's too close to the road and very noisy. It's ok except for the breakfast.
It is the largest room I have stayed in in Japan, and the location is also good. I recommend staying here
Hotel is in front of JR Kochi Station. Location is very strategic. We booked twin bed and the room is quite big. This is one of the best (3 star hotel) that we stayed when we visit shikoku area.
The location is very good, just opposite Kochi Plaza, you can see it when you look up. The room facilities are good and the price/performance ratio is very high. The only drawback is that the central air conditioning can't be turned off, there is noise, and it's too hot to sleep in the middle of the night

I was so happy to find this place for a sudden trip. I'm grateful for your courteous service. The facility is old, but I had no problems staying there. Thank you!
Staff were nice and gave us washing detergent for the coin laundry available on site. Room was a bit cramped but expected for the price. Pillows were too hard but was a normal stay.
The room is clean and tidy, and the items are very complete, especially the bathroom, which is small but complete, very exquisite. The owner is very warm and thoughtful, and I am especially grateful for the free luggage storage. It is very close to Kochi Ancient City, so I just strolled there. Recommended to everyone
The retro atmosphere was great
I stayed here for a business trip. I have been using the Town Group for a long time. The staff are very friendly and I learn a lot from their efforts to keep costs down. The building is old but the bathrooms and other areas are kept clean. The one thing that was disappointing this time was that there was cotton dust on the curtain box. If that hadn't been there I could have given a better rating, but...
The toilet seat was cold. There was no outlet near the bed. The biggest light in the room didn't work. There were other lights so it wasn't a problem. It would be fine if you were just staying overnight.

Really outperform my expectations! Spacious. Well location is tad off as it's on one of the michi no eki, but you can head to ino for good food. The hotel is clean and posh and you get a very private onsen after 8PM Very good amenities and nice hotel
The room's modern Japanese-Western style was excellent. I particularly liked the flooring in the changing room of the large communal bath. Although it has aged, it adds to its charm and feels great on the skin (the soles of your feet?). The washi paper wallpaper in the room also has a nice feel. The only disappointment was that only the main bath was available for early morning baths; the herbal bath...
The food was Western-style and very good. The alcohol prices were reasonable. The bathhouse also had a sauna, which was enjoyable. On the other hand, the exterior of the accommodation was old, the wallpaper inside the room was torn, and the tatami mats were old, so the straw would stick to your socks, which was a bit of a hassle. Overall, though, it was a good inn.
I stayed on the 4th floor, which was dimly lit and a little scary. The room had stains and mold, which reminded me of a school trip. Also, there's no elevator to the 4th floor, which might be difficult for elderly people, but they will help you with your luggage if you ask. The food was delicious, and the service was great. The hot spring was spacious, so I was able to relax and unwind. I'd love...
The shop at the Michinoeki was a great place to stop by for souvenirs--I loved the Kochi Ice Cream they stocked (the ice cream shop itself is also a quick drive away). I also booked water activities with their water sports centre which was great. Great place for experiencing Niyodo River's Niyodo Blue waters on a sunny day! They also have craft activities which I didn't have time to try. The...

The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the train station, and also a 5-minute walk to shopping streets like Mitsukoshi Department Store. Kochi Castle and Hirome Market are roughly a 15-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly.
Very nice rooms in Japanese style, highly recommended. Check in time would be nice change from 4pm to 3pm.

It was just fine. There was no problem staying alone. Breakfast was included and it was very good for the price.
It's not far from Kochi Station and can be reached on foot, but it feels like a historic hotel. The breakfast is just bread, coffee and juice. You can leave after eating. However, the equipment is old but the toilet is normal and clean. It's really retro to open the door with a key.

I enjoyed this very traditional Japanese hotel. Rooms with tatami mat and futon so comfortable. Clean and all amenities. Large Bath was excellent. I’ve booked another night in a few weeks on my way home!
The traditional Japanese-style rooms offer excellent value for money. On the riverside, you can see lots of small crabs along the river at high tide. The river view somewhat sacrifices accessibility. The sanitation is very clean, although the facilities are quite old. The service is very friendly, especially compared to Tokyo and Osaka, and it still maintains the typical Japanese service. By the way...
Excellent location, a 10 minute walk from the action in Kochi (Hirome Market, castle, etc), yet in a quiet and peaceful bank of the river. The street is just wider than a bicycle way, so if you are driving, yes, that is the right way. You are offered Japanese-style rooms, aged, a bit bundled (typical anyway) with furnishings and appliances. The major upgrade is a proper air conditioning, as opposed...

Front desk staff exceeded my expectations, in kindness, helpfulness and professionalism. Convenient location and very pleasant hotel with Japanese style rooms.
I arrived at Kochi in the evening with no hotel reservation. Every hotel I checked, both online and in person, was sold out. My last chance was to check in person at the Hotel Takasago Hotel, which it turned out to be fully booked as well. But the Front Desk helped me to find a hotel with availability by calling several of them in Japanese. When they could not find one for me, to extend their help...
I visited this hotel as a place to stay while traveling. Apart from the location, it was honestly the worst... First of all, it was hard to find the parking lot. Even if I asked my companion where it was, they didn't even give me any directions. They just said, "It's on the west side." Don't they usually guide me to some extent? Even if I managed to park, I couldn't get my car out once I parked...
The queen size bed was very good. It was within walking distance to Hirome Market and Sunday Market. There is a 7-Eleven right in front of the hotel, which is convenient. Don't expect too much from the bath.
This hotel is in a great location, especially to the train station and shops. The concierge gave a professional and friendly welcome. The room I had (on the 4th floor, corner overlooking the street) was very appointed and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, making for a nice sleep and restful stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend if you're visiting Kochi city.
The check in staff was able to give details of hotel in English. Room was clean (quad room, large, mix of twin bed plus futons). Dinner and breakfast were kaiseki style and was tasty and adequate. Indoor public bath was not large but it had nice amenities. About 1 km walk to Hirome Market. Lots of eateries nearby.

Nice hotel Got in house sauna for guest. Parking available on site but limited at 500yen per day. Walking distance to local tram.
We arrived after 9pm so there was no welcome drink, but the breakfast was delicious. Also, the kids seemed happy with the children's slippers, which was a great help.
I was able to stay here with peace of mind even with my children! The rooms were clean! When I asked the front desk where the parking lot was, they were very kind and explained it to me!
The breakfast selection was plentiful. I had some raw egg with rice porridge, which was delicious. The room was spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. Parking across the street was inexpensive. The receptionist was very helpful and communication was smooth.

Very family and courteous staff. Parking is 1000 yen and night. Clean room but facilities are a but dated.
Small and simple but easily reachable from the train station.
Located near major shopping and dining in Kochi, this business-class inn was a moderate walk from JR Kochi station and only a few stops away on the local streetcar that runs nearly in front, itself a nostalgic attraction for visitors to the region. Of all my stays in Japan, the front desk and lobby staff went far to make me feel welcome and accommodate my few requests, making my three night stay in...
Kochi is a peaceful and friendly city with beautiful nature and great local food like Katsuo no Tataki. Kochi Castle and the riverside areas are lovely to explore. However, shopping options are limited, nightlife is quiet, and it’s difficult to find rare items such as large raw coral. Transportation is simple but not very frequent. Overall, a calm place for relaxing, but not ideal for special shopping...

The stag were so welcoming in my arrival, remembering me from a few weeks ago when I stayed 2 nights. They had already organised a vegetarian Japanese breakfast for me.
The room was not cleaned properly. The bathroom was small and the tiles were sticky and disgusting. For this price, including breakfast, there was no midnight snack. It would be better to choose another hotel with a bathroom.
It was also helpful that they laid out the futons for us. The bath was clean and we were able to relax in the warm water. The parking lot was hard to find. I was able to get a good rest...Thank you very much.
Although the facility has a Showa-era feel, it was very clean and comfortable.
Noisy Japanese male groups didn't close the door and keep talking loud even in midnight. Closing doors without holding the handles was really loud and disturbing at 12am. I understand it was a nice time to hang out with friends but should shut the doors to let other customers rest properly. Do not choose the option with room chosen by the hotel.
The perfect hotel for those who love retro sensibility. The breakfast is also great, and you are lucky enough to be able to relax in the large public bath.

A bit out of decoration, but overall clean & tidy, with excellent homey service.
The open-air bath was nice and clean. The breakfast was fine, but the room was dimly lit. It would be better if there was some light from outside.
It's full of Showa-era vibes, but it's very clean. It's a 5-minute walk from Kochi Station. There's a coin laundry, so you can do your laundry. There's a large public bath and an open-air bath on the top floor, so you can quickly soothe your fatigue. I'd definitely like to stay here again if I go to Kochi.
The hotel's location is a bit difficult to find, but it's easy to find. Parking is limited to one session for guests with a car, and is valid from 8 PM to 10 AM the following morning. The nostalgic feel was nice. The facilities are old but kept clean and reassuring.
The hotel itself is old and has a few things that might be unbearable for someone who is very particular about cleanliness, but all the staff were kind and polite, so we had a very pleasant stay! It was perfectly fine even with children, but the lack of an elevator was a bit inconvenient. I highly recommend it to anyone who supports the Seibu Lions or the Kochi soccer team.
It's located within Haruno General Athletic Park, less than a 30-minute drive from Kochi Station. The park entrance closes at 10 p.m., so if you plan to arrive after that, contact the hotel in advance to inquire about entry procedures. The rooms feel more like training facility accommodations than hotels, and the standard private rooms don't have bathrooms or toilets. It's difficult to get here without...
There was no elevator, and someone brought the luggage to the room with a tow bag, but when checking out, I had to carry it down to the ground floor. There was a problem with the air conditioner in the room. I asked to change rooms, but because the room was full, I couldn't. Finally, the waiter came up and removed the dust filter, leaving the room empty. It was very dusty near the air conditioner....
It's a shame that we couldn't use the public bath.

When I checked out, the front desk clerk mocked me, saying, "Did you stay alone? (lol)" but other than that I was satisfied. I don't understand the intention behind that comment. Spacious bed and spacious bathroom The river view is nice too. It is well ventilated and has an air purifier. The TV is big too The front desk staff is so friendly and angelic. pretty small but it has everything you need for a couple of nights. the furniture is a bit old but clean enough! if you have the top bunk it’s slightly hard to get on top.
A small cozy hostel in the city center for only 8 people. There is no reception, you need to call and find out the code for the lock. I couldn't get through, a girl who lived in the hostel helped me get in. Two common areas - a kitchen and a room with tatami.
Remember to confirm the entry code, I didn't receive it but luckily someone else did! Decent accommodation, convenient for staying a few nights
Even though I made a reservation, the room wasn't ready. When I called they said it would take an hour, then they called me back to say the room was ready, so I went to the hotel but couldn't remember the room key number.
