TAOYA Akiu, Sendai1 / 30

Sendai, 107 Yakushi, Yumoto (14 km from centre) 🧭 Map
For about 1200¥ you can go to the onsen of this hotel. It's very good !
For onsen only : Realy great onsen for 1200yen with towel. It's a shame that it's only open from 11h to 15h (last entry at 14h) if you are not spending the day at the ryokan.
Beautiful and really nice place. Their hospitality is great.
Loved our experience here, despite smokers in the hallway (of a non-smoking floor). The fancy bar was closed while we were there (assume off-season), but the karaoke and izakaya were open and lovely. Do try the house sake from the izakaya, truly great. The set meals, both dinner and breakfast were also amazing. Onsens were great and staff were very accommodating, despite the language barrier.
Decent place. Was rather expensive for what you got. Traditional style rooms, probably the worst breakfast I've had, and typical overprice meals. Very little English communication, but was still doable. The onsen, or bathing area, was really nice. But I went to better ones in the big city. Not much to do around the hotel either. But that may have been due to poor planning.
Great onsen hot springs with different temperatures, sit down and stand up showers, and outdoor bath. Daytime onsen use avaiIiable for about 1300 yen. Most staff speak a little English.

20 min walk to Sendai Station. 5 min walk to other bus and train station. Large lockers. Clean. Large showers. Affordable. You have to leave between 11-3 for cleaning. Plent of food places. Near shopping street.
You have to ask for toothbrushes at the front desk; they weren't provided at check-in.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated how the bath and luggage storage areas were separate from the capsule area, which made for a much quieter and more restful stay compared to other similar facilities. There were also plenty of showers, sinks, and hairdryers, so I never felt like it was crowded. Another nice touch was that each guest received their own bath mat. This...
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, but I had a very comfortable experience. I wasn't bothered much by noise from other guests.
Amazing location, clean and quiet space. Locker area and bathroom area are exceptionally clean as well.
Great stay if you are looking for a convenient location for public transit and clean amenities. Access to plenty of konbinis, cheap eats and shopping streets as well. The lockers were compact which made it challenging during our 5 night stay. Hope they will consider a packing stall area to make it easier when repacking. Also recommend a laundromat close by (Fuwafuwarando Omachiten Coin Laundry).

The room, toilet, bath and the whole facility were very clean.
The guy at the front desk was as kind and considerate as always. The hotel was good except for the bathroom which was outside which was inconvenient.
It looks nice and colorful with the mountain bikes and sofas, but there were no people. Actually, this lounge might be closed still. Even before COVID 19, we could use this area to ourselves. Few people gathered here for drinks. Isn't that what a communal spot is for? It's supposed to be a place for people to communicate. Hopefully people slow down and take time to talk to strangers. Life is more interesting...
The hotel feels like like a hostel. Machine check in and check out. There are places to lounge on the first and second floor. There are no bathrooms/shower in your room. Complementary slippers, towels, toothbrush, bowls, cups, tv and fridge in your room. Each floor has a communal mens and womens washroom and lavatory at the end of the hall. The rooms are furnished to modern standards. Perks of hotel...
Reasonable priced western style inn in an area filled with more expensive Japanese style inns. Rooms are spacious because they don't include a bathroom. Each floor has their own communal toilets. There's also a bar, tatami room, and library where you can relax. The shower stalls and onsen are on the first floor. Onsen is pretty small, and won't fit more than six people, but it gets the job done.
Well run and contemporary Inn. There's a automated check in/out system . It's located as such you really need a car to get here but the rooms are large, bright and clean. The area is absolutely beautiful with a onsen town not far away. The lounge is nice and it's also where you can. Get a breakfast for 600yen which is worth it. For the money it's a bit of a no brainer if you are traveling around...

Sendai, 213 3 Osawa Izumi Ku (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's not fancy but the staff ate lovely, the hotel is quiet and clean , the breakfasts are excellent and very cheap and it's one of my favourite hotels in Miyagi. It's a little out of the way but bus service is nearby and its easy to get to Izumi- chuo station. I preferred the walk - good exercise!
I stayed here for one night for business. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. It's conveniently located near the Sendai Izumi Interchange, but there aren't many stores nearby, and even convenience stores are hard to get to without a car. The lobby has a microwave, so you can eat and drink, but alcohol is not allowed.
This is a hotel. That sounds incredibly basic, because it is. You get a room, but there’s nothing luxurious about it. It’s clean in the ways that matter, and pretty dated in the ways that don’t. You can tell where the low prices are coming from, but I’d call it good cost prioritization.
I stayed on the first floor and couldn't even open the curtains because there was a parking lot outside the window and people were walking around. There was no coffee in the building, so I had to go to the convenience store outside to buy some. There was only a unit bath in the room, but there was a super public bath nearby so I was glad I used that. This time I only stayed to sleep, so it can't be...
I couldn't find a hotel near the station, so I came here. We had to make a few changes, but they were able to accommodate them. thank you very much.
It's close to the interchange, so traveling at high speed is smooth. There are various shops nearby, so it's very convenient. If I can stay at this price, I would like to stay again.

Sendai, 1-3-6 Omachi, Aoba-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was quite clean, but the hotel staff didn't speak Chinese, mostly Japanese.
Facilities: As expected from a chain hotel, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hygiene: Livemax's hygiene is standard, nothing exceptional but perfectly adequate. Environment: The location is very convenient; you can walk to all the attractions. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs and other convenience stores, and it's easy to get to the shopping street. For this price, I have no complaints...
Good location to shopping area
The location is great, near to shopping street and 18 minutes away from Sendai station. Th room has everything you need it. The staff is helpful ang kind
The facilities are a bit old and it's a bit far from the station, but the front desk staff was very welcoming. Breakfast is served bento-style, which is convenient for taking on the go if you're catching a train. It was a relatively affordable option during the Tanabata Festival.
Clean and relatively new, with a good location.

The location is good, close to the station and there is a convenience store right in front. The room was not bad, but the Wi-Fi password was hard to find and I thought there was only one elevator.
Considering the location near the station, the price was reasonable and I was satisfied. I thought the air conditioner had three settings, but it was actually a thermostat that could be used to adjust the temperature. However, the water heater was an old model that took a long time to boil, and the amount was small, so I couldn't eat instant yakisoba noodles. Other than that, it was fine.
Although there is some wear and tear due to its age, it is rare to be able to stay here for this price, especially with prices soaring. The staff were also very polite and I have nothing to say. There seems to be a free Wi-Fi access point in each room, but the only password listed is for the hotel's access point. However, I was able to connect to the internet without any problems using the hotel's...
Honestly your average 3 star hotel, except look at the price! For a single room in a hotel, I was paying less than most hostels I have stayed in. I genuinely don't have any complaints at all about the room or the place when I was able to stay 5 minutes from sendai station for less than 20 pounds a night. The only issue I had with the hotel is its weird policy of leaving a key with the staff as you...
It's been a while since my last business trip to Sendai, and I stayed at this hotel again, which I always stayed at before COVID-19, because it was so convenient. Since I was having dinner at night, I could only eat breakfast by myself, so I had a nostalgic two-drink style? The toast was also delicious, and I liked the morning menu here. That's what I did. The breakfast was still very delicious, but...
The interior and the hair dryer installed are quite old, but the room was clean, so it's good. Amenity is also attached firmly. Air conditioning is a dial type. It's just right if you think that you just sleep because it is calm in a place that is not very wide. The female staff are not very good at responding to phone calls, but the male receptionist was the best (Is it a great person because it is...

Sendai has many narrow roads, and the road in front of this hotel is a bit narrow as well, but I think it will be no problem if you have a small car. There is a convenience store diagonally across the street, with a selection of 100 yen store items and an ATM inside, which was very convenient. The hotel room was also clean and I had a very relaxing stay. The hotel was well-equipped with drink vending...
We were looking for a room for our family of four (two adults and two children) in Sendai City, but due to the summer vacation there were no vacancies, so we ended up booking two rooms for two people. However, two days before our stay, the hotel kindly called us and said, "We have a large room available for families. Would you like to stay here?" They said we could keep the price the same as when we...
Staffs in this hotel are very polite! They will call to confirm you before you come to stay 1-2days before after you have booked the hotel. For the room,it’s normal as Japanese business hotel actually. Bathroom are very clean which that’s a good point for me. But a bedsheet is quite hard so it might not comfortably. And you can hear the train sounds which that would make you awake as well. Well,price...
Inexpensive business hotel in east Sendai area. It takes less than 10 min from the nearest JR station (Nigatake or Higashi-Sendai) on foot. Access to downtown is very easy. I always choose this hotel when I stay at Sendai.
Quite a long walk from the station, not that many good places to eat at in the surroundings, rooms were somewhat dirty. Was cheap though, so can't complain too much. Beds were comfortable.

They will be closing after the stay on January 12th, 2026. I had made a reservation for a date and time after that, but I received an email canceling my reservation for the reason mentioned above. They say the reason is aging facilities. Thank you for your hard work up until now.
It was close to the station, but I was able to stay there for a low price. It was inconvenient that there was no coin laundry on the premises. I turned the refrigerator down low, but it was still so powerful that it froze vegetables. There was dust on the walls of the room, which was disappointing. The room was on the national highway side, not the Shinkansen side, so it was noisy 24 hours a day. The...

It's a fairly old hotel, but above all it's clean and cheap to stay. However, the bathroom and toilet are quite small, so it may be a little difficult for people with large bodies. Depending on the room, the Shinkansen passes right next to the window, so it might be nice for children and people who like trains. However, if you are not interested in railways, you will be worried about the noise😅
If you just want to sleep, it's enough. If you follow the Shinkansen 🚄 underpass from the station, you will arrive, so don't get lost. If you reserve a parking lot, it's under the overpass, so you won't get wet in the rain. It is undeniable that the facilities are old, but it is acceptable. Driving noise on the road is so-so annoying.
Online reservations for singles cost around 4,000 yen. 6,000 yen by phone reservation. Area of room is passable, and bathroom is small. Especially the toilet seat is elementary school size. Big people are cramped. Ochin○n hits the toilet seat (^_^;) There was free WiFi, but it didn't reach my room. It's right next to the railroad tracks, so you can only see the railroad tracks. The sound of trains...

This hotel has a cute sign and is located at the entrance to a residential area, a bit far from the station. They offer a shuttle service, but I chose to walk. There was a convenience store very close by. Since the simple room without a bath was inexpensive, I used the small communal bath. I had it all to myself both at night and in the morning. I was able to relax and I'm grateful. For my 3-night...
It's a 15-minute walk from Sendai Station. They provide transportation to the station upon request. I chose a room without a bath, but there is a 24-hour bath (for 4-5 people) on the first floor with a jetted tub. A Japanese set meal is available for breakfast for 1,000 yen. It's delicious. The hotel rate varies depending on the day, but I was able to stay there for 7,000 yen on a weekday. There's...
Breakfast was delicious. I was feeling unwell so my check-out was a little late, but they were kind enough to accommodate. Thank you! ️ Check-out was at 11am so there was plenty of time.
I used it during the Tanabata Festival. Despite the busy season, I was able to make a reservation at a reasonable price compared to the surrounding area. The room was spacious and comfortable because it didn't have a bathroom, but the washlet made a constant dripping noise... (although I was able to sleep). The bathroom is a large bath with three washing areas. I used it late at night, so it was reserved...
It feels like the price is right, good or bad. The breakfast was delicious. You can hear the TV in the next room. The room didn't seem to be energized unless I stabbed the card key, and I tried to charge my cell phone while I was taking a bath, but it wasn't done. There is no locker with a key in the bath (do you leave your valuables at the front desk?). The biggest problem is that the sitting height...
I used it for 4 nights at the tournament. It is the best hotel that makes you feel the spirit of hospitality in every detail. Especially the gardening is excellent. A bath that can be used for 24 hours. It is recommended to take a bath in the morning and relax under a big tree outside. I will definitely stay here when I go to Sendai.
