The hotel offers free parking, afternoon snacks in the lobby, and a rich buffet dinner with local specialties like oysters, beef tongue, and seafood. Breakfast is also a buffet, featuring traditional Japanese options and seafood rice bowls, which is very generous. In the evenings, there's a late-night ramen service and a whiskey bar. The hotel also provides karaoke and a billiards room, so you can easily pass the time even if heavy snow keeps you from going outside.

The room seemed newly renovated, it was quite spacious and comfortable. However, the smell from the wood-burning fire in the lobby at night would waft into the room. It only dissipated slowly after Ctrip customer service coordinated with them to turn it off. We still had to open the windows at night to air it out. I don't understand how their ventilation system works.

The hot springs were fantastic, and the dinner buffet was very generous. It's a very relaxing environment. The hot springs were really great. Getting back to Sendai was convenient, with both a shuttle and public bus options available.

The hotel room is tidy. The dinner and breakfast are in buffet style. Just very normal buffet food. Food not impressive. If u are looking for good Japanese meals in onsen hotel, this one is definitely not an option. The public onsen is spacious without good view. Booked private bath but was bad, small and completely indoor without any view! Do not recommend paying extra for the private bath. I lost a room key inside the hotel and the hotel charges me $10,000 yen cash. I think this price for a lost key is unreasonably high. Hotel staff can’t speak English. Very hard to communicate with them. When i approach staff in English, they will reply in Japanese and did not offer proper help most of then time. Overall not a pleasure stay. Please consider the other hotel in this region when u see this review.

We came to Akiu mainly to see Lu Xun's former residence, but the hotel itself was also great. Although there wasn't much of a view outside the window, Akiu Great Falls is just a short drive away. The front desk gave me a room on the top floor. The food, especially, deserves a special mention. My boyfriend ate 6 plates of the freshly grilled beef tongue, but he was still outdone by the Japanese gentleman next to us – I counted, he had 7 plates! I won't post other pictures as I see everyone else has posted plenty; I'll just share one of the massage chair. You can enjoy the view while getting a massage. It's very quiet during the day, and you can use it as much as you like without needing coins, which is much more generous than many other hotels. The parking lot is also spacious, so there's no need to worry about not finding a spot if you return late.

It’s a good paradise. You got to eat and drink both alcoholic and non alcoholic all day long. Like literally all day. Food is not 10/10 but still pretty good, a large variety for dinner and breakfast buffet. Worth going!

The hotel lobby offers a great variety of beverages, including draft beer, along with nuts, dried fruits, and cold drinks, which is a very thoughtful touch. The buffet is incredibly rich with options like ox tongue and oysters. It's a shame there were no crab legs as shown in the hotel photos; I wonder if it was due to the season. Also, the hotel's massage chairs are incredibly comfortable.

Huge thanks to the Trip.com hotel butler for patiently helping us book the hotel shuttle and guiding us on its location at Sendai Station. The service was excellent. After a 40-minute ride to the hotel, we checked in to find it completely full. The lobby was packed with Japanese families, and we barely saw any Chinese guests. It was surprising to see so many Japanese families enjoying hot springs on a weekday, which shows how much busier the consumer market is here compared to back home. Both breakfast and the buffet dinner were fantastic.

It is an all inclusive hotel in the Akiu area. Buffet dinner and breakfast were just superb. There are two public onsen that can be used freely. Shuttle bus can be arranged to/from Sendai station if you don’t drive.

The dinner buffet offers a variety of food including grilled ox tongue and steamed oyster rice which are amazing. There was also a whisky bar with good vibe and nice environment.
