The hotel has a unique local charm and is absolutely beautiful. The service is also excellent. I've stayed at several Riu hotels on this trip, and they've all been really great! They even offer welcome chocolates, which are delicious! The only downside is the hotel's buffet dinner; it's expensive and there aren't many good options. Drinks also cost extra, so I don't recommend it.

This was my first family trip to the Dead Sea in Jordan, and as always, the Mövenpick did not disappoint. The rooms are comfortable, the surroundings are beautiful, and the garden is absolutely charming! I will definitely choose the Mövenpick again for my next visit.

We arrived at 6 am and we were offered a very early check-in for a small price and breakfast for a reduced price. A great start! The room had a 'sea view' which it did but it was limited. The private beach for the Dead Sea was fine but you wouldn't want to spend a lot of time there. The Lebanese restaurant on site was fine at best

The property is very large. Access to the red sea beach is difficult. Many walkways were closed... It needs to be more convenient rather than complicated. All staff were super friendly.

We had to repeatedly request bottled drinking water, which was quite inconvenient, and check-in was also delayed. Aside from these issues, everything else was fine. The heated pool and saltwater pool were especially enjoyable.

Really great for what it is. I went and booked on the spot unplanned and they were super helpful, friendly and fair! The rooms were clean, the location was superb. Loved it. Would stay again.

Our stay was fantastic in every single point. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We arrived after 11pm and even they open restaurant for us. We had w connecting rooms, they were big and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast was served in the morning. They even drive me to car rental office free of charge. Generally if you expect 5 star quality of rooms I would rate it 4 star but value for money if great

Staff are very nice and helpful. Rooms ok, beds comfortable. Rooms could do with an upgrade or repair. TV difficult to operate. Breakfast mediocre. Wi-Fi coverage ok but images slow to download, if at all. Location ok but a long way from down town. You need to walk and explore area to find anything.

Nicely located in an area with a lot of shopping and dining opportunities. Perfect if you plan to be in this area of Amman. Staff was very nice and attentive, buffet breakfast was good.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite which is always nice. Unfortunately the A/C in the living room in that suite was not working but the one in the bedroom did so that was not a huge problem. My first time in Jordan and stayed here. The hotel itself was located about a 2 minute walk from shops, bars and restaurants so location was great. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were great, answering all our questions about location, area and attractions etc. I would recommend.

Great experience. Staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel lobby was a true boutique experience. I was upgraded to a suite. The rooms are newly renovated and are super clean. One thing to note was the quality of the furniture and beds which were extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for individuals or those visiting with family.

For what it cost, The Strand is absolutely fine. The staff were helpful and the rooms a good size. Somewhat dated decor but clean. Food rather basic and uninsipring but fine. The location was ok for us but a taxi ride to anwhere significant in Amman. If looking for a budget, adequate hotel, this would be perfect.

Good business hotel Enjoyed this hotel stay as it was close enough to the airport and had good facilities and client services. However while I had a wonderful room, there was no desk which is a must for business guests. Also the breakfast room was not well-indicated and was so hard to find!
