Asyl Kol Tourist base in Kapchagay

We spent two nights at the base, on August 30 and 31. We pitched our tent wherever we liked. The beach is sandy and gently sloping, so if you are traveling with children, you can rest easy. There are small gazebos with tables on the shore. They are rented out for a whole day, not expensive. Every evening we saw guys driving by in a car with a trailer and cleaning up some garbage. Although they give you a free garbage bag at the entrance. There are equipped toilets on the territory, quite clean and tidy. And if people do not throw garbage themselves, then the entire shore is clean.
On the opposite side from the swimming beach there is an internal lake, where fishermen sit. There are a lot of fry, the fish play at dawn. We got there during a change in the weather, so there was almost no bite, but we still caught a snakehead and a small pike perch. But the kids jumped on the waves, and so did the adults.
You can also buy instant noodles near the entrance, drink various lemonades and drinks. The people working at the entrance turned out to be adequate, kindly disposed, told where what was and then helped with drinking water. In general, we were satisfied with the trip.

A great spot for both fishing and swimming. Kapchagay is on one side, and a small lake on the other. Clean! Sandy! Inexpensive!

Hi everyone! I haven't been here in a while, but I returned yesterday after spending three days. I've seen big improvements. There are now cabins for vacationers, but not all of them are in use yet. There are now proper restrooms and trash cans. The area is almost clean. There are a lot of vacationers on weekends. There are changing rooms on the beach. The "sea" here is shallow, but there's plenty of water this year. There are broken bottles in the sand on the beach, but that's not the sea's fault. Overall, I recommend it. I wish everyone good health and a pleasant stay.

Lots of dead fish along the shore for 2 days crucian carp and asp fry and nothing else caught. Well, maybe the weather was bad. Overall, it's clean and quiet.

It's hard to be objective. We really liked it.
It's clean, and somehow soulful, and cozy, and we caught some fish, and what a night view there is )))
But there are downsides of course:
It's a bit far, of course, the road is not for every car, if you want to swim, then the beach is not a kilometer away, of course, but 300 meters for sure...
And the most important thing for me personally, they don't like dogs here... entry with them is prohibited, which is not indicated anywhere except on the poster at the entrance to the territory :(
