Friendly staff during the day. The residents are questionable. Several rude men attempted entry of the ladies' room. Also saw men in the common areas in nothing but their underwear. There is also harassing of a female traveler every time she is on her way to the toilet or shower.

good value for money while staying in astana. walking distance to bayterek and almost all other places. i walked to bayterek to opera and shan katyr, but of course i took taxi back for 400 tenge which is just more than a dollar only.

After just one day I saw a bedbug on my bed curtain, killed it and was full of blood. When I told the receptionist she just said they never had them before and it's the first time, but didn't want to come to check in the room and just said I can change rooms. The mattresses aren't covered in plastic, and the staff didn't look very serious or willing to help more than that. Also the bathrooms were very dirty and stinky. I forgot my dental retainers in the showers and am very disappointed I didn't find them back, although we are responsible for lost objects but I didn't feel like the staff was helpful with this either. Overall a bad experience because they show no initiative or seriousness despite the fact that we pay for our stay and comfort as customers.
