Hotels in Karaganda Region

The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Fantastic hotel with lots of really cool history. Staff were lovely, room was really nice, and price was very reasonable.

Stayed for 7 days on business. The best thing is a gym adjacent to the hotel with a swimming pool, machines and a sauna. Very good wifi connection. Breakfast and food offer for dinner in the restaurant downstairs is nice overall as well. Rooms are standard but comfortable. The only thing is that aircon is noisy but can be disconnected. An excellent experience overall!

Upon arrival very early in the day & after flying for twenty-plus hours our rooms weren’t ready so not off to a good start. They did get us into rooms within the following hour- problem solved. The rooms are relatively small but big enough, clean and comfy. The room had a fridge but no coffee maker 😱. Room service was always prompt in coming to the rescue getting me my caffeine fix ☕️. I really...

Our first time in Kazakhstan for business. The food staff, front desk personnel are wonderful. If we needed something they took care to see we were taken care of. Met managers and again very helpful. Thank you all for a comfortable 22 night stay.

Room was clean but very basic with heater that was maybe little bit too small for room. Service in hotel is ok but quite slow. Breakfast simple and quite heavily in unhealthy side. Very difficult to eat healthy in morning. Car parking was available for free.

My father and I have been visiting Karaganda for the second year in a row, each time staying for a week at the Hotel Senator, which is undoubtedly one of the best places in the city in terms of location, service, facilities, and staff. The restaurant located within the hotel, Restaurant „Balkon“, is in no way inferior to this standard – something we rarely experience. Our highest respect goes to...

Wonderful stay at Senator Hotel Karaganda. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant the night before, and the service continued to impress. For our early checkout, Arina from reception arranged a packed breakfast that was ready by 6:00 AM — generous in variety and beyond expectations. Her warm hospitality and friendly chat made my first visit to Kazakhstan truly memorable. Highly recommended

I cozy and clean hotel in the ity center. Very nice steakhouse on the second floor. Good service

Worth the money Room clean and nice, but noisy

Good hotel in Karaganda Pleasant stay. The staff was courteous and responsive. The location was also good with everything close by.

Nice hotel Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff with nice restaurant, only down side is that the spa/sauna is at a high charge not noted in the hotel info

super clean room. good breakfast. Small and very cozy hotel. convenient location.

Great value. Very clean rooms. Nice bathroom. Satisfactory breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent location Close to Central Park.

Superior service and home made ambient ) nice staff! Recommended

Great hotel, everything was great.

I liked everything very much. Well done

Gorgeous, stylish hotel with good breakfast and luxury rooms

Expensive and not many amenities for the price. Breakfast not included. One of the two shower heads didn’t work.

Overall, I liked the clean, comfortable place. The lack of a restaurant or cafe was a bit of a bummer. Although there is a bowling alley, I had to order pizza.

Quite nice, a little old, but over all a good choice for Karaganda.

Beautiful hotel! Green, large, and cozy. Spacious, clean room with everything you need. No kettle in the room, but there's a water cooler on the floor. Delicious breakfasts. Highly recommended!

The room was nice, and the service was good, but the language barrier, low on cash, and the inability to pay by credit card made the problem. There were also no Chinese restaurants to choose from, and communication was difficult.

The hotel is quite traditional and old, the front desk service is very friendly, but the facilities and supplies are too old, maybe because not many people stay here!

Well, too hot inside the room, the plastic Chair inside the room ist very uncomfortable. And I don't know why they keep bird in too small cages....

I visited Karaganda from Canada. Had a great stay at the hotel. It's quiet, clean, very friendly staff. The front desk receptionist was very helpful with things like getting a taxi cab there and things like that. The ladies at the restaurant / canteen take a lot of pride in their work and one of them took time to explain me all the foods and what is what. I travelled a lot in the USA, Canada and Western...

Very nice hotel, reasonably priced, with various themed rooms, staff were very friendly and proficient, we spent 3 nights in a standard room and our final night in bungalow with its own sauna, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Highly recommend this hotel

Very comfortable, food is excellent, staff is very friendly. Lots of character.

Excellent hotel. Everything is clean, cozy, done with taste. Nice design, new furniture, clean towels and lattes. The staff is polite and friendly. Many foreigners. There were no complaints about the cleaning. There is parking. Iron for an extra fee. I recommend

Unfortunately the staff does not understand English and the communication is hard. But the laundry service is very good, better than some of the best hotels in the town.

The hotel is great! Booked a room online. He indicated the time of check-in, despite the late hour of check-in, the staff were helpful and friendly. Travelers are given documents if needed. Cash and bank transfer. Located in the center, close to shops and catering. Parking. 4 floors, the elevator works. It was quiet at night. The rooms are cozy, clean, not smoked, the bathroom is clean, the towels...

Everything was great!! We were passing by as a family, we chose this hotel. The hotel is gorgeous, the service is top notch, the room had two large beds. Cleanliness, comfort, silence. Parking in front of the hotel. Located in the city center, near the Central Department Store, shops, cafes. A restaurant in the old Russian style, we got into a fairy tale. I liked the cuisine and the prices are affordable...

Pretty good and quiet place. Not expensive. In old downtown.

Cool, but the era is so cozy, you'll feel like you're transported back in time and forget what's going on in the 21st century. And here, I recommend it, it's calm and neat. It's absolutely fantastic.

I visited the Zumrat sauna and loved everything. It was clean. The pool was large and generally warm, but as always, I wish it were warmer. The sauna itself was clean and nice. By the end, the temperature had gone over 100 degrees, which made it uncomfortable and a bit too hot, but that's a personal preference. Overall, everything was fine, and the receptionist was polite. Thank you very much.

Nice sauna, comfortable with children. There is a warm and clean pool. Friendly staff

The food is very good. The rooms are spacious, the beds are soft, what else is needed for a good rest.

Quite a passable hotel. Parking on the side, on the left. Roomy. The rooms are standard. Clean. The beds are not loose. Audibility is good and this is a minus.

It's worth to stay for the price. Rooms are simple, clean and spacious. Location is close to several Bazars and soviet style malls. Our stay was unfortunately spoiled by excessive construction activity at the facility that's why it's 3 stars only. We didn't tried the breakfast even it was included in the price.

Wonderful experience, very polite workers. Soft bed, modern classic interior. Answered all my questions and we vere supported in everything.

Really nice rooms, but room service was not that good. Breakfast is complimentary, but the menu hardly changes.

There was an electric kettle in the room, but the outlet didn't work. The heating system couldn't be adjusted, so it was hot. The breakfast and staff were excellent.

The rooms are warm but not well ventilated. Service was OK, friendly staff, and pricing is reasonable.

Cool hotel, non-smoking rooms only — which is great as I am allergic to smoke

Excellent hotel with a fresh refurbishment. Stayed overnight while passing through the city. Clean, cozy, comfortable. Friendly staff. Excellent cafe (breakfast included, 4 options to choose from). In addition to breakfast, they took dinner on the menu, everything is delicious, aesthetically pleasing, good portions. There are few outlets in the room. This is the only thing that upset. I definitely...

In general, the place is good. The staff is friendly. It needs to be a little more clean. Attention to details.

The resort in Balkhash is gaining momentum. Of course, it's still a long way from Borovoe. But it's all ahead. In 15-20 years, it'll be fantastic. The prices are reasonable. And the Zhemchuzhina hotel complex lives up to its name. Even judging by the vibe. It's indescribable. You don't have to see it, you have to "live it"! To stay in a room, you have to book in advance. There are simply no free rooms...

Best stay place. Very clean. Employers very friendly and smile. Mty top in Balhash

A decent hotel with ample parking. Delicious English breakfasts, highly recommended. A bit pricey, but what can you do? The electronic lock in our room stopped working, but they fixed it, but they could have just replaced the batteries. Overall, okay.

I am sharing my impressions with you. The place is not bad. The territory is small. Green. There are benches, a playground. Two summer cafes and one small restaurant inside. The prices for food are outrageous. The average bill per person is approximately 10,000 tenge and this is not a big deal. And this is in Balkhash. You can't wait for waiters. We were there for 2 days. One day there was no water...

A historic hotel and one which offers good value for the room size. It's not super close to the centre and you might need to grab a Yandex at times but it's worth staying at.

Always reliable. Nice team, good (for the price) rooms. OK breakfast

Very well kept hotel which was much better than I was expecting! The staff were very friendly, rooms are clean, and the air conditioning is strong. My only complaint is that the WiFi was spotty. Location is a little out of the way which made it nice and quiet. It's also next to the Karaganda park which is a great place for a run. You'd probably need to call a cab to get to most places though.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. We had good rooms and a good dinner in the restaurant. Can recommend it

Avoid the rooms on the second floor. They are very large, but not very clean and do not smell very nice. Lots of history to the rooms and that is evident on the blood stains and other stains on the carpets. The communal areas are clean and the staff are pleasant.

This very nice place to book sauna and have some fun with friends

We stayed on October 2nd. The receptionist, Irina, was friendly and helpful. The room was cold due to bad weather, and the heating hadn't been turned on yet. They quickly resolved the issue, providing a warm blanket and a heater. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, everything was delicious. The selection of breakfast dishes was excellent. Thank you for the warm welcome. I recommend it.

I didn't go inside the building. There's a large parking lot, a barrier, and a security booth. The grounds are level and clean. The building looks like it's not in Karaganda. It's a quiet place, as the high-rise buildings are far away. I didn't see any green space for sitting outside in the shade (well, that's a problem).

We were pleasantly surprised to find such neat hotels along the highway. We were traveling from Almaty to Burabay and decided to take a break en route, and this hotel was our choice. We booked through Booking. The reception staff greeted us very warmly and checked us in quickly, explaining everything we needed to know. The rooms were clean, with towels, robes, and everything else provided. The refrigerator...

Nice place, delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere and service. It's a bit far for someone living in the urban area. Road construction has made access to the restaurant difficult. We had to walk. Of course, the restaurant doesn't control the road construction time, but still... The management should have warned guests booking a table about such inconveniences. But overall, the restaurant is excellent

This is a clean hotel at a reasonable price. The beds are large and clean. Room 402 has a separate terrace. There's a separate smoking area, and other amenities such as a conference room, sauna, and swimming pool. The food at the first-floor restaurant is delicious. However, the water pressure is a bit weak. The hotel has a spacious parking lot and is close to the highway.

Better than expected. The food is good and the staff are very helpful

Very nice Breakfast (Eggs, Sausage, Pancakes, Sandwich, and much more), Clean Rooms, Excellent Food in Hotel Restaurant, Good Drinks for very reasonable price in Hotel Bar. Highly recommended!

In the hotel restaurant the morning time restaurant service is very slow and I need to improve

Clean, cozy, tasty Fast serving, friendly service, delicious ribeye, excellent roasting

I was in the Hijama center "Nur Hijama", professionals, not a single scar

Nice hotel, nice restaurant, friendly staff.

Very modern and clean. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff.

Modern hotel with stylish decorations. I had a luxury room which was huge. The staff is very attentive. Thee breakfast is ok but somehow limited choice. The food at the restaurant is good

A nice, quiet hotel. One downside is the distance from grocery stores. This inconvenience is offset by the good kitchen located on the ground floor. The service is attentive. I recommend it for business travelers.

Today, December 20, 2020, I just checked in (room 223) and already have positive emotions. 1. The receptionist was very... No, VERY polite and helpful. 2. The cafe was just waiting for my colleague and me to feed us. By the way, the Norwegian salmon soup and syrniki were delicious. 3. The room is spacious. 4. The bathroom has heated floors. Not every hotel (almost nowhere) has heated floors in the...

The room was nice and spacious, but there wasn't a kettle, not even a glass or cutlery. The hotel cafe was inexpensive and the food was quite tasty. The location was inconvenient (unless you were visiting the metallurgical plant); you had to take a taxi to get to town.

The hotel isn't a Rixos or a Hilton. We stayed there from June 2, 2025, to June 6, 2025 (room 212 cost 204,000 tenge). 3 adults, 2 children (2 years old). We came from cold Astana for the heat, clean air, and sea. I don't have time to describe the pros and cons, but I would come back again. I didn't rent an apartment because... I didn't know in advance if it would be a smoky place (I can't stand...

Great hotel on Priozersk. Clean and tidy
