Stayed for 7 days on business. The best thing is a gym adjacent to the hotel with a swimming pool, machines and a sauna. Very good wifi connection. Breakfast and food offer for dinner in the restaurant downstairs is nice overall as well. Rooms are standard but comfortable. The only thing is that aircon is noisy but can be disconnected. An excellent experience overall!

Upon arrival very early in the day & after flying for twenty-plus hours our rooms weren’t ready so not off to a good start. They did get us into rooms within the following hour- problem solved. Our first time in Kazakhstan for business. The food staff, front desk personnel are wonderful. If we needed something they took care to see we were taken care of. Met managers and again very helpful. Thank you all for a comfortable 22 night stay.

Room was clean but very basic with heater that was maybe little bit too small for room. Service in hotel is ok but quite slow. Breakfast simple and quite heavily in unhealthy side. Very difficult to eat healthy in morning. Car parking was available for free.

Wonderful stay at Senator Hotel Karaganda. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant the night before, and the service continued to impress. For our early checkout, Arina from reception arranged a packed breakfast that was ready by 6:00 AM — generous in variety and beyond expectations. Overall, I liked the clean, comfortable place. The lack of a restaurant or cafe was a bit of a bummer. Although there is a bowling alley, I had to order pizza.

The room was nice, and the service was good, but the language barrier, low on cash, and the inability to pay by credit card made the problem. There were also no Chinese restaurants to choose from, and communication was difficult.

Cool, but the era is so cozy, you'll feel like you're transported back in time and forget what's going on in the 21st century. And here, I recommend it, it's calm and neat. It's absolutely fantastic.

I visited the Zumrat sauna and loved everything. It was clean. The pool was large and generally warm, but as always, I wish it were warmer. The sauna itself was clean and nice. By the end, the temperature had gone over 100 degrees, which made it uncomfortable and a bit too hot, but that's a personal preference. Overall, everything was fine, and the receptionist was polite. Gorgeous, stylish hotel with good breakfast and luxury rooms

It's worth to stay for the price. Rooms are simple, clean and spacious. Location is close to several Bazars and soviet style malls. Our stay was unfortunately spoiled by excessive construction activity at the facility that's why it's 3 stars only. We didn't tried the breakfast even it was included in the price.

The resort in Balkhash is gaining momentum. Of course, it's still a long way from Borovoe. But it's all ahead. In 15-20 years, it'll be fantastic. The prices are reasonable. And the Zhemchuzhina hotel complex lives up to its name. Even judging by the vibe. It's indescribable. You don't have to see it, you have to "live it"! To stay in a room, you have to book in advance. There are simply no free rooms...

A decent hotel with ample parking. Delicious English breakfasts, highly recommended. A bit pricey, but what can you do? The electronic lock in our room stopped working, but they fixed it, but they could have just replaced the batteries. Overall, okay.

I am sharing my impressions with you. The place is not bad. The territory is small. Green. There are benches, a playground. Two summer cafes and one small restaurant inside. The prices for food are outrageous. The average bill per person is approximately 10,000 tenge and this is not a big deal. And this is in Balkhash. You can't wait for waiters. We were there for 2 days. One day there was no water...

A historic hotel and one which offers good value for the room size. It's not super close to the centre and you might need to grab a Yandex at times but it's worth staying at.

Very well kept hotel which was much better than I was expecting! The staff were very friendly, rooms are clean, and the air conditioning is strong. My only complaint is that the WiFi was spotty. Location is a little out of the way which made it nice and quiet. It's also next to the Karaganda park which is a great place for a run. You'd probably need to call a cab to get to most places though.

Avoid the rooms on the second floor. They are very large, but not very clean and do not smell very nice. Lots of history to the rooms and that is evident on the blood stains and other stains on the carpets. The communal areas are clean and the staff are pleasant.

Well, too hot inside the room, the plastic Chair inside the room ist very uncomfortable. And I don't know why they keep bird in too small cages....

I visited Karaganda from Canada. Had a great stay at the hotel. It's quiet, clean, very friendly staff. The front desk receptionist was very helpful with things like getting a taxi cab there and things like that. Very nice hotel, reasonably priced, with various themed rooms, staff were very friendly and proficient, we spent 3 nights in a standard room and our final night in bungalow with its own sauna, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Highly recommend this hotel

We stayed on October 2nd. The receptionist, Irina, was friendly and helpful. The room was cold due to bad weather, and the heating hadn't been turned on yet. They quickly resolved the issue, providing a warm blanket and a heater. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, everything was delicious. The selection of breakfast dishes was excellent. I didn't go inside the building. There's a large parking lot, a barrier, and a security booth. The grounds are level and clean. The building looks like it's not in Karaganda. It's a quiet place, as the high-rise buildings are far away. I didn't see any green space for sitting outside in the shade (well, that's a problem).

Nice place, delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere and service. It's a bit far for someone living in the urban area. Road construction has made access to the restaurant difficult. We had to walk. Of course, the restaurant doesn't control the road construction time, but still... The management should have warned guests booking a table about such inconveniences. This is a clean hotel at a reasonable price. The beds are large and clean. Room 402 has a separate terrace. There's a separate smoking area, and other amenities such as a conference room, sauna, and swimming pool. The food at the first-floor restaurant is delicious. However, the water pressure is a bit weak. The hotel has a spacious parking lot and is close to the highway.

The room was nice and spacious, but there wasn't a kettle, not even a glass or cutlery. The hotel cafe was inexpensive and the food was quite tasty. The location was inconvenient (unless you were visiting the metallurgical plant); you had to take a taxi to get to town.
