Fantastic location. The rooms are comfortable though my room only had twin beds and there were no shelves in the ensuite for putting toiletries on. There is a large swimming pool and a sauna. More importantly, there are wonderful (though slightly interrupted) views of the mountains. The food is made using fresh, local produce. The breakfast was particularly good.

Extremely racist!!! They told us they have no food when people were eating infront of us and said 2000 SOM person. What a rude lady and what a bad way to treat tourists.

I stayed at Ashu Guest House while working remotely, and it was a lovely experience. I requested a mountain view and was gladly accommodated with a beautiful one. The local cuisine served was delicious, giving me a true taste of the region. The staff were kind, attentive, and made sure I felt at home throughout my stay. Highly recommended for both work and leisure!

Stay away - it’s highly overpriced with very little value for money. We payed 120 $ for a twin room without lunch. First I didn’t understand the price because at the homepage the price is 120$ including lunch - they wrote to me it was 2022-2023 price. So why didn’t they correct the old price and why didn’t they offer me the price they announced?!
Anyway, when you pay this price in Kyrgyzstan you expect something special. You don’t get it here. The food is very ordinary, actually below average. Only the bread was very good. On top the toilet didn’t function and the bathroom were not nice with shields on the ceiling.
But what was really the limit for me was for breakfast when I realized I had to pay for the good coffee😳😳😳 Yes, I could get instant coffee, but when they claim high standard😵💫

I highly recommend this lovely guest house in Kemin. I have stayed here twice, and the service is always wonderful and accommodating. The rooms and facilities give a great atmosphere for a village retreat in Kyrgyzstan. The views and nature around the area are spectacular. Perfect choice for a peaceful weekend away from city life.
