Edem Guest House in Bosteri

We were in Kyrgyzstan for the first time. We arrived late in the evening without booking in advance. Nargiza, the owner of the Eden resort, was very helpful, providing us with a comfortable room at a reasonable price. We ate only on the Eden property, and the food was delicious and varied. The lake is no more than a five-minute walk from the resort. Based on our experience at Lake Issyk-Kul, we recommend the Eden resort, especially if you're traveling with children.

We stayed for 10 days at the Eden Guesthouse. The hosts and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms matched the photos. The cuisine was delicious and varied. We could order a variety of food, and we were always happy to have a late breakfast or dinner. The grounds were beautiful and clean, with mountain views. A 5-minute walk to the beach. It was a quiet, family-friendly place. Thank you so much for the comfort and friendly service. And a very pleasant moment – ​​a complimentary gift from the hosts! Thank you so much, we'll be back!

A very cozy place to relax! The hosts are welcoming and caring, always ready to help. The room has everything you need, including a refrigerator.
I recommend booking the second floor in advance, otherwise the view from the balcony will be just a wall. However, the courtyard offers a stunning view of the mountains.

I never expected to be able to book a guesthouse remotely, based solely on reviews, and be so happy I found myself here, in Eden!

We contacted the hostess via WhatsApp, made a reservation, and paid a deposit (it was all very simple and took just a few minutes). We shared a room for two families, four rooms: two for adults and two for children. The atmosphere was just as I'd always dreamed: on one side of the hotel is a forest with a lake, and on the other, a beautiful view of fields with endlessly high mountains beyond! And there's not a soul around; most people are concentrated deeper in the guesthouse area, where there's constant hustle and bustle, human noise, and the impossibility of falling asleep or sleeping in late in the morning. But here, there's no noise at all – neither information nor people!

It's a five-minute walk to the lake. In that time, you'll get your blood pumping and dive happily into the waters of this pearl of Kyrgyzstan!

The hosts are very welcoming, and the warm welcome makes you feel like you're somewhere far from home, in another country!
I'll definitely be coming back next year and every year after that. Believe me, I have something to compare it to. I've traveled on tours before, and I had to live (rest) according to a schedule, eating what was offered at set hours. This time, we decided to drive our own cars. The cars are parked next to the guesthouse. The fact that we drove ourselves was perfectly complemented by the fact that the guesthouse has its own kitchen, where the chefs can prepare any dish to order, not just from the menu. You can dine at any time—from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can also cook your own food on the grill, which is exactly what we did and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes with the hosts, Nargiza and Ernest!

And what a daughter they have—our sweet Aichurek! 🥰🥰🥰 We were walking through the forest with her and got lost, and she led us home! Little girl! 🤯🤯🤯

There are cafes nearby to suit all tastes and prices. The beach is nearby. This year, we stayed from July 9th to July 13th. The water was warm, and the weather was great. The rooms were clean. The toilet and shower were clean. You can use an iron if you wish. The water pressure is good, and there's hot and cold water.
