Podsolnukhi Guest House

Cholpon-Ata, ulitsa Kol Zheek 12 (in the centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 420 m

The owner is very friendly, always there and ready to help with any request

Great host and really comfortable and clean rooms.

We had a great stay! Dimitri was a friendly and helpful host who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. There was also a good parking facility, which was very convenient

The courtyard is cozy — it’s clear that the host, Dmitry, takes good care of it and puts in effort. However, the price seemed overpriced: we paid more when booking remotely than guests who arrived and booked on the spot

This verdant ambiance pleasantly sets Podsolnukhi apart from the crowd of neighboring guesthouses. The rooms are unassuming, but they are neat and cozy, and they have everything you need for a comfortable stay

We didn't notice any pushy extra services. At the same time, he readily responded to requests for help choosing a cafe, calling a taxi, and organizing a jeep tour to the Semenovskoye and Grigoryevskoye gorges

Guest House “Aura”

Cholpon-Ata, ulitsa Kol Zheek Gostevoy dom "Aura" (in the centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 510 m

A great location, set back from the road. A thermal spa is nearby. Clean rooms. Good internet. If it's cold (we had +6 degrees and wind at night), you can turn on the heated floors or ask for a radiator. Thank you.

Excellent rooms and facilities with very affordable prices 👍 Very clean and newly built, in summary great value for money .. 10 minute walk from the beach and other attractions/markets in the city center.

Excellent but little pricey rooms. Shared kitchen (should update multicooker). 7-15 min to shops and restaurants. Special thanks to Galina and Begemay

Nice place for hot springs bath

Zaton Guesthouse

Cholpon-Ata, Kol Zheek 10a (in the centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 330 m

This family run guesthouse is really good! Despite the initial difficulty in finding the place (no signs whatsoever), the rest of our stay was nice. The view of autumn leaves from our balcony was very beautiful

Amazing guesthouse! Owners are incredibly friendly and have helpful advice and contacts for activities in Cholpon Ata. Rooms are clean, come with mini fridge, tv, a/c and heat up can control

The plentiful breakfast is included and most of the food were prepared right as we sat down. There is parking available outside the guesthouse. Payment can be made with cash or card

While it was fun talking with the parents (with limited English), their son was very helpful with translations of everything. They even gave us some contacts for our onwards trips

Guesthouse is located right next to a park leading to lake Issykul. You can get to the rest of the village very easily -- and owners are happy to help!

Really cute and sweet guest house run by a family. The son speaks great English. Location is great as it’s located

Guest House Ozernaya

Cholpon-Ata, Oziernaia 25 (in the centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 500 m

A good budget accomodation, a beautiful wooden house, very close to the Issyk-kul lake. Easy to find based on the photo of the house. Bathroom in the room as well as TV

The owners are quite friendly and already became our good fellows during our stays. We fell in love with Gera (beautiful cat on the second photo that lives here and usually walks around)

I do really love this gorgeous guesthouse. We used to stay at this house every time we visit Cholpon-Ata and Issyk-Kul lake. This will be already the 4th time we live here. The house is made entirely of wood

It is solid, well-made cottage with well equipped rooms. There are individual bathrooms in each room. The bedding is enormously comfy, IDK what other reviewers mean when they say that it will break the back

I personally just literally sink in deep in the bed when I return home tired after a long walk and swimming in the lake. The summer kitchen is located outside of the main house

It is equipped with all the required kitchenware. It is both comfortable to cook your own food or bring something and eat here as well. The view from the room is just amazing

Guest house Weekend

Cholpon-Ata, Orozova St, 6 (in the centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 350 m

This isn't a guesthouse, it's heaven on earth. Everything is beautiful, cozy, and comfortable: a garden, lawn, swings, gazebos, a pool. The rooms are very clean, which is probably everyone's top priority

Everything was just perfect! Clean, cozy, delicious!!!! My parents and son were very happy!!! Again, cleanliness is a big focus for our family!!! The only downside is the road to the beach

The hosts are very kind, the staff is great, and the grounds are huge. Everything is beautifully planted, the blue spruce trees are beautiful, the roses are charming

While it's nice to walk, the road itself is very dirty and, in my opinion, it's still a bit far. But that's not the case with a guest house

Super! Cozy place with natural wooden premises, respecting kyrgyz style! Would love to return back with my family

Super! Friendly staff, wifi, Pool and Short distance to the beach. And not expensive at all.

Гостевой дом "Ысык-Куль - Светлана"

Cholpon-Ata, 722100, Kyrgyzstan, Issyk-Kulskaya oblast (2 km from centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 390 m

It's a bit far from city Central and we had but hard time finding it as its relatively new and not many people have heard about it. Once you get there, it's awesome

The owner is quite cordial and shared us his best room although we paid for a cheaper one. It was not the season in early April, despite that we had excellent time there. Rooms have great view of the lake and mountains

The design of the house, the garden, the big rooms, everything was above expectation

Bektur, the owner is one of the most generous, humble, cooperative person I have ever seen who has gone extra thousand mile to make our visit to Kyrgyzstan an unforgettable one. May Allah bless him and his family

I decided to go ahead and heat our food in the microwave, but it was not cleaned at all. We washed all the cutlery we wanted to use as it was for our daughter and you could see that the cutlery was just water washed

We only went here for food, not sleep, but it was excellent. Very generous portion for 300 som per person. We had arranged dinner the day before, not spontaneously!

AltynAi Guest House

Cholpon-Ata, 722100, Kyrgyzstan, Issyk-Kulskaya oblast (in the centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 520 m

Excellent rooms, there is a shower, a good interior, a patio, generally good food, only breakfasts are rather weak, polite hosts

Cozy rooms, very welcoming and helpful hosts. Very clean! Breakfast is available in the morning for 300-400 som. It's a good choice, with scrambled eggs and sausages, porridge, coffee, tea, cocoa, and more

There are thermal springs nearby, and Issyk-Kul beach is a 7-minute walk away. There are cafes along the way, and a restaurant on the shore

I loved our short stay here. The welcome was so warm, and the rooms were very large and spacious. Cleanliness was impeccable. Everything was spotless. +1 Located across from the thermal baths, which should not be missed.

You get what you pay for. It’s cheap and the quality level matches that. The owner is nice lady. Definitely can recomend but expect it’s gonna be matching the price.

Cons: the doors are rickety, don't close or open well, some mattresses are also wobbly (some are saggy, others have springs that dig in), and the mattresses are very hard (this may be a plus for some)

Ak Kalpak Guest House

Cholpon-Ata, Goluboi Issyk-Kul Ak Kalpak (2 km from centre) 🧭

Issyk-Kul lake shore 210 m

Best hotel to stay in cholpon ata(issyk-kul).

The experience of a clean and clear hotel room is refreshing, peaceful, and relaxing, offering a sense of order and tranquility.

Near to lake....clean room...charges nominal we paid 1500com for 1 day

Mind you that you are paying per bed in the room, so if you are staying alone in a two persons room, you will still pay the full price. The price is not high and it is fully understandable that you pay for the room

The rooms are not extremely clean, the beds are not super comfortable (make sure you are extremely tired then you would not care at all), the bathroom is old and it is stinky

We have been here by the end of the season, I think this is a great place if you in general don’t have high expectations
