Hostels in Cholpon-Ata

Best place in cholpon ata, super good and friendly host Rudy and kyrgi owners girl was good too. Cheap stay just 6$. Nice kitchen, lounge area, decent warm beds despite the cold, excellent location near bus station (west and east) and easy to get to mountains, easy to lake, couldnt ask for more :))))

Location: centrally located in the heart of Cholpon Ata. There is a supermarket across the road. Room: The dorm rooms have 2 bunk beds with enough room to store your luggage. Beds are comfy and the blankets are thick for the cold weather. Staff: we were welcomed by other fellow traveller who was volunteering at the hostel. Ruben gave us some great advice of what there is to do in the area with the...

We stayed for 2 weeks in Cholpon Ata. Location is great, very close to the Issyk-Kul lake and we liked the fact that this is a very small hostel. There is a nice garden with a good place to hang out. Go to petroglyphs, sunrise, bazaar and historical museum!

Awesome, loved the location, central to everything. The staff was great, very helpful and can speak Russian and English fluently. Would definitely recommend to any groups travelling to Issyk-Kul on a budget.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious!

Basic hostel with dorm beds only. Friendly staff and good location (15 min from beach). Prices are negotiable!

Cool rooms, good ones on the first floor with a balcony with a good view.

I visited here two years ago in July... The atmosphere in Cholpon-Ata is fantastic for anyone planning a vacation. I rented a room here, and everything was clean and tidy, including a shower. It was 450 som per night...

Simple, warm staff, good breakfast, good value for the money.

Great host and really comfortable and clean rooms.

Mixed impressions overall. The courtyard is cozy — it’s clear that the host, Dmitry, takes good care of it and puts in effort. However, the price seemed overpriced: we paid more when booking remotely than guests who arrived and booked on the spot. We recommend confirming the rate upon check-in. The rooms are simple and homey, with hot water, a refrigerator, and basic kitchenware. Overall, the cost...

We had a great stay! Dimitri was a friendly and helpful host who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. There was also a good parking facility, which was very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cholpon-Ata!

This Hotel is very, very clean lodge where one can find a heavenly beautiful garden. The master is a man diligent and who has a special kindness! If I shall come again at Cholfon-Ata, I will come back to this house without any hesitation. Altissimo~

The Podsolnukhi Guesthouse boasts green, well-maintained grounds with trees, flowers, and shrubs, among which are pergolas adorned with climbing plants, benches, and swings. This verdant ambiance pleasantly sets Podsolnukhi apart from the crowd of neighboring guesthouses. The rooms are unassuming, but they are neat and cozy, and they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. A table and chairs...

Absolutely assess the quality of housing is hardly possible, only in conjunction with its cost. Since I got here in a certain historical period, the hype for living in the resort village of Cholpon Ata was completely anomalous for this time of year. A direct consequence was inflated housing prices. People are making money. Nothing special. Two friends and I got the second floor of a small house, where...

Nice place for hot springs bath

A great location, set back from the road. A thermal spa is nearby. Clean rooms. Good internet. If it's cold (we had +6 degrees and wind at night), you can turn on the heated floors or ask for a radiator. Thank you.

Nice and cozy place. Excellent but little pricey rooms. Shared kitchen (should update multicooker). Pool. Fenced area with cameras. 15 min to the beach. 7-15 min to shops and restaurants. Special thanks to Galina and Begemay.

Excellent rooms and facilities with very affordable prices 👍 Very clean and newly built, in summary great value for money .. 10 minute walk from the beach and other attractions/markets in the city center.

This family run guesthouse is really good! Despite the initial difficulty in finding the place (no signs whatsoever), the rest of our stay was nice. The view of autumn leaves from our balcony was very beautiful. While it was fun talking with the parents (with limited English), their son was very helpful with translations of everything. They even gave us some contacts for our onwards trips. The plentiful...

Really friendly and comfortable guesthouse with a great breakfast.

Really cute and sweet guest house run by a family. The son speaks great English. Location is great as it’s located

Stayed here in the second week of February. The guys could speak English. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was served fresh. They also served us with fresh apples grown in their garden.

Amazing guesthouse! Owners are incredibly friendly and have helpful advice and contacts for activities in Cholpon Ata. Rooms are clean, come with mini fridge, tv, a/c and heat up can control. Guesthouse is located right next to a park leading to lake Issykul. You can get to the rest of the village very easily -- and owners are happy to help!

Zaton Guesthouse is very quiet, on the very edge of Cholpon-Ata. Parking was possible near the guesthouse. Next to Zaton is the entrance to a beautiful park near the lake. The main street with shops/restaurants is about a 15 minute walk away. We had a room (nr. 4) with a balcony (with bench). Neat clean room, twin beds, airco, with separate bathroom. Good Wi-Fi. Some English was spoken by a younger...

Had a great stay for affordeable price. The hosts are also lovely and very accommodating. 5 mins walk from the beach.

Small rooms and the sheets and bed covers were a bit smelly. There were 3 beds in a small room and the bathroom was small too but the service and the room all made of wood was nice.

A good budget accomodation, a beautiful wooden house, very close to the Issyk-kul lake. Easy to find based on the photo of the house. Bathroom in the room as well as TV. Towels included. No kettle, no cups or other basic dishes, basically no kitchen, only a fridge available in shared part of the house.

I do really love this gorgeous guesthouse. We used to stay at this house every time we visit Cholpon-Ata and Issyk-Kul lake. This will be already the 4th time we live here. The house is made entirely of wood. It is solid, well-made cottage with well equipped rooms. There are individual bathrooms in each room. The bedding is enormously comfy, IDK what other reviewers mean when they say that it will...

Excellent guest house. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, with flowers everywhere, all different kinds, trees, and gazebos all hung with flowerpots. My son and I stayed there from July 15th to 20th. There's a kitchen on site, so you can cook or order food; we ordered breakfast several times. By the way, you don't need to buy water; the tap water is delicious. The room is nice: two separate beds...

Excellent and friendly people. Very nice

Beautiful, well-groomed territory, nice house, good big kitchen, and very friendly owners

Really clean room :) and friendly owner and his father :) we had a great time! I recommend this place :)

Nice owner, everything is clean and overall I liked it, thank you

Hosts are really friendly and nice. Amazing garden and great rooms with space and good views. Great to go to the lake and enjoy some resting days but little bit far away of the town.

I was so lucky to find this place during my trip in September of this year. ^^ The location is also close to the terminal. It's convenient for both coming and going to Bishkek, and you can catch the Mashtroka to Karakol from here! (There are buses from the eastern end of the city, but they also depart from here at the Central Terminal. When I was there, there was a timetable posted in front of the...

+ Welcoming and helpful family + Quiet location close to the center and the beach + Very clean + Good wifi connection - No dimming curtains in the room - Cheap mattress a bit uncomfortable, as the thick pillows - No desk For the price of 1200 som per night, you can't expect more 👍

Very nice accommodation, hosts and staff are very friendly, you can book tours around Izzyk kul Lake and the mountains in that region from the guest house

Very nice place in good localisation next to bus station and not far from beach. Perfect service!

Top Service. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly family. Perfect. We will com back.

Real basic accommodation, everything is real old but okay clean. No bad smells. Location is conveniently in the center close to the beautiful beach. Good price!

My experience at the Family Guest House in Cholpon Ata was a mix of positives and negatives. Unfortunately, the room had a noticeable odor and was cramped in size. Additionally, despite the air conditioning, the room remained uncomfortably warm. The bathroom facilities, particularly the shower, left much to be desired in terms of comfort and cleanliness. While the room lacked various amenities and...

The location is perfect and around 5-10 min to center, the host and the staffs are outstanding, they do have attached and non attached bathroom rooms. Breakfast was amazing and the prices are very reasonable. They can arrange day trips, horse rides with reasonable prices as well

This place is typical countryside guest house with green garden, main house with the dining area inside and "summer" rooms called "budget" on Booking. We stayed in one of the 3 budget rooms with shared bathroom, but actually there are toilet and water inside each unit. Just real shower with hot water is outside. There are place to make a tea. The breakfast is fabulous, the best! You can easily walk...

We mistakenly chose a single bed, but they gave us a larger and more spacious room for the same price. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the center, and very close to the beach.

We arrived at night - they checked us in without any problems. All complaints are exclusively about the room (didn't try the food, the location didn't matter, etc.). In addition to the fact that you have to climb a hellishly dangerous staircase (it's scary to even imagine what would happen if you went up it drunk...), it's not easy to enter the room - you go in alone and rest your knees on the bed...

Just wow! A beautiful annex in a private yard, close to everything there is to visit. Exceptional host, very communicative (she also knows some English). I recommend from the bottom of my heart

Kind of a hostel what u expecting? Toilet, bathroom, kitchen and rooms are very clean. For sure it's not a fancy 5 star hotel. Wi-Fi works good. It's a bit far from center but it gives u silence to have rest. Owner is kind and helpful person.

Very good, affordable, clean, green property.owner is also very good.little far from center if you have Texi or car this is very good option to stay.

Very cozy and calm! There is everything you need close to the beach.

Nice hostess, she gave me a pot of tea when she found out I have a cold. Apricot trees in back yard, small guest kitchen you can use. Rooms feel a bit cold and washrooms are outside. Hard to find at first.

Host very friendly and attentive. Guesthouse located not far from the open air museum.

We booked the guesthouse for a day through Booking.com. Its most important advantage is the quiet. If you're looking for peace and privacy, this is the place for you. The friendly and welcoming staff is the only reason it deserves a 4, otherwise a solid 3. There was no TV in the room (we asked for one, and they brought it), terrible Wi-Fi, and the breakfast was meager, but just right in terms of calories...

The rooms are clean, the TV works, there is hot water. Below you can play billiards, there is table tennis on the territory, a dog and two puppies live. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are sent to a neighboring guest house. Dinner is fine, but breakfast is expensive and tasteless: 300 som for a piece of cheese and doctor's sausage, rather thin and tasteless porridge and two thin pancakes with a spoonful...

The house is not bad. It is located 100m from the beach, but the house itself is not easy to find. There is a dining room in the basement, you can cook for yourself, there is all the dishes. At the end of the season prices are affordable.

It is convenient that the beach is two steps away, there are not many people. There is free table tennis and billiards. Everything a tourist needs is within walking distance.

In general, not bad, but for its conditions it is too expensive. On the plus side, the beach is close, but with a rocky shore, but also a 5-minute walk to the local beach, as well as the open beach of the Lukomorye boarding house. There is tennis. Own kitchen. There is a brazier, a cauldron, and in general you can cook your own food. But the conditions leave much to be desired.

We booked a quadruple room as the description mentioned about a kitchen with kitchenware. When I entered the shared kitchen, there were no vessels that i could use for the stove top. I decided to go ahead and heat our food in the microwave, but it was not cleaned at all. We washed all the cutlery we wanted to use as it was for our daughter and you could see that the cutlery was just water washed. We...

We only went here for food, not sleep, but it was excellent. Very generous portion for 300 som per person. We had arranged dinner the day before, not spontaneously!

Wow..wow...wow!!! Just amazing. The place is awesome. The design of the house, the garden, the big rooms, everything was above expectation. Mr. Bektur, the owner is one of the most generous, humble, cooperative person I have ever seen who has gone extra thousand mile to make our visit to Kyrgyzstan an unforgettable one. May Allah bless him and his family.

Lovely serene place. It's a bit far from city Central and we had but hard time finding it as its relatively new and not many people have heard about it. Once you get there, it's awesome. The owner is quite cordial and shared us his best room although we paid for a cheaper one. It was not the season in early April, despite that we had excellent time there. Place is very neat and clean. Rooms have great...

Near to lake....clean room...charges nominal we paid 1500com for 1 day

The experience of a clean and clear hotel room is refreshing, peaceful, and relaxing, offering a sense of order and tranquility.

We have been here by the end of the season, I think this is a great place if you in general don’t have high expectations. Mind you that you are paying per bed in the room, so if you are staying alone in a two persons room, you will still pay the full price. The price is not high and it is fully understandable that you pay for the room. The rooms are not extremely clean, the beds are not super comfortable...

Best hotel to stay in cholpon ata(issyk-kul).
