We had a very pleasant stay at the Grand Poet Hotel Riga. The room was well-kept and comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel warmly welcomed right away.
The wellness area is beautiful and relaxing, and the massages are truly high quality – definitely recommended. After a day of exploring the city, we enjoyed a delicious cocktail at the bar.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town, perfect for exploring Riga. The breakfast was also extensive and delicious.
In short: excellent value for money. We would happily come back here!

I stayed at Grand Poet on the night of 14 November, and honestly, it was a solid experience from start to finish. The staff deserve real credit — they’re professional, helpful, and actually attentive, not just pretending. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept.
Breakfast was the highlight. There were a lot of options, everything tasted fresh, and it didn’t feel like the usual “hotel buffet” you get elsewhere. Easily one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in Riga.
Overall, the hotel is well-managed, the location is perfect, and the service is genuinely good. I’d stay here again without thinking twice.

Just got back from our stay at The Grand Poet, everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff where friendly and very helpful. The spa was very nice and we had a wonderful full body massage. Would recomend The Grand Poet to anyone visiting Riga, also a great location as only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of the old town.

Wonderful hotel and spa. Everything perfect, except hard bed (ask for a top mattress), breakfast not to top Norwegian "Thon" standard and with annoying "music", and shower in the slippery bathtub and with blender instead of thermostat. Not hindering a great weekend in Riga.

My stay at the Grand Poet was truly exceptional. The hotel perfectly combines modern elegance with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the park view is lovely. The spa is a real gem, ideal after a day of exploring the city, and breakfast deserves special praise for its quality and variety. The staff are always attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. A place that turns a stay in Riga into a pure pleasure.

Great stay at Grand Poet. From the moment we arrived the staff were super helpful. The room was immaculate, in fact the whole hotel was. It looked brand new!! We really enjoyed being able to use the spa everyday. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! Location was superb, right next to a beautiful park and couple of minutes walk into the old town. We made use of the electric scooters parked opposite the hotel.

The spa is small but atmospheric; if there are many children, it can feel a bit full, but otherwise it’s lovely and relaxing.
Breakfast had absolutely everything you could wish for; the sparkling wine and Pavlovas were a delightful touch! Our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and the option to have breakfast in the room for a small extra fee was such a nice luxury.
The location between two parks is stunning, and it’s just a short walk to the Old Town.
The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay.
