The location is fantastic! Directly across from Komtar, you can easily catch the CAT bus. A 7-Eleven is just a 2-minute walk away, and it's only 3 minutes to the Three Road Night Market. The street art area is a pleasant 15-minute walk. You can even watch the sunrise right from your room! The service and facilities are excellent, and there's a water dispenser in the hotel corridor. Just a heads up, the bathroom floor can be quite slippery, so it's a good idea to bring your own slippers.

We very much enjoyed our stay at St Giles Wembley in Penang. The staff were very friendly and the food available in the hotel was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here during your visit to Penang.

Great location, great service and the room was spacious and clean! Central to most of our wishlist places this trip, the hotel is v much accessible and ideal for future trips to Penang. Knowing that it’s my boyfriend’s birthday, they v kindly did towel art decoration prior to our hotel check-in, and even sent us a cute cake to celebrate. Thank you St Giles, we will be back! ❤️

Service was great right from check in all the way till check out. Requested for a room with a view of Komtar and high floor. Great view for New Year’s Fireworks! Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall excellent and happy with our stay!

I think this would be my 3rd or 4th stay in this good hotel
1. Easy access to every good street food in george town area average 1/2 an hour walk
2. Easy access to village grocer and 711 around 5mins walk
3. One of the best hospitality hotel and easy parking system unlike certain hotels in KL
4. Mattress and pillows feels new making us less motivated to go out to fight with others for food

Hotel was clean and service was very good. Room was large and comfortable . Swimming pool on eleven floor is a plus on hot days. Good view of the town and the sea from our room.

Strategy location, walking distance to new lane good street, 1st Avenue mall is just opposite make it easy to purchase last min amenities. Strategy location which also mean this area is always packed. However we were very happy with the view!

The window is dirty, sometimes Aircon will stop during midnight. Room is muggy. Toilets wall have stains. The air quality in the room is very poor. There's also an unpleasant odor. Never come back again!

The check in process was fast. Breakfast was decent. Could have been better in terms of variety. Room and bathroom were big. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

A nice place to eat in 1st avenue mall.
I find the food just okay, nothing special.
If you want authentic Penang food, just step out of 1st avenue and walk a few minutes across the road under the hot sun and u will find yourself a nice authentic Penang food across the road. Price is almost the same too.

Food court at 1st avenue shopping mall. Good place to stop by after shopping (grab a drink and snack while resting)

Famous prawn hokkien noodles: the soup base is so flavourful without being overwhelming. You can choose what type of noodles, and you can add extra ingredients like roast pork. Lotsa other stalls around, and you can order into the kopitiam too

Delicious hokkien mee (prawn noodle). You can top up the basic bowl (RM4.50/bowl) with siew yuk (roast pork) and pork intestines. Another special thing about the hokkien mee in Penang is you can opt for Vits (maggi) noodle instead of yellow noodle or meehoon.

This 888 hokkien Mee (prawns Mee) is super delicious!! ??? can add siew yok (roasted pork) one ? and I finish so fast within 2-3 mins. ? the prawn soup is marvellous ??? Don’t come here too early. They only open at night around 5pm onwards until 12am.
