The location was great .... right at town centre ....it was near restaurants, which was convenient...

Hotel is 15 floors. Check in to room with sea view on 11th floor - big, clean carpeted, separate shower and tub. Lobby pretty big with restaurant, meeting room, tour guide and a bistro. Welcome drink is a choice of fruit juice or beer at bistro. Also included is a high tea voucher for following day. Took a short walk and found a variety of different food places around - malay, Indian, Korean, Japanese and a tze char joint as well. A lot of different varieties of shops and duty free shops as Langkawi is a duty-free island where alcohol is cheaper than soft drinks. Many seafood joints around within 0.6 to 14 km radius.

The location for this hotel is good, nearby has many shoplots, near to most of the places as well. Travelling to each place is easy. However, hotel is quite old and the room has some odd smell but overall is still acceptable.

It was just okay. The facilities are outdated, but the environment is decent.

Although rooms is old, but is big, clean, cozy and the bed is comfortable.
Had all the amenities.
And the view is great.
Staffs are super friendly.
Bathrooms is clean and they replace towels everyday if it is used.
Found only one issue, that is the shower-head in both bathtub and shower area, it is manageable but if they could change it or upgrade it to a better one it would be perfect.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was excellent, with convenient access to everywhere. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room had a nice view oso.

Hotel is clean and Service is good. Location is at middle of Kuah town and convenient for shopping. However its further if you want to spend time at beach.

Bayview is the excellent hotel in the heart of Kuah town. It’s obviously quite old but very-well kept and well-equipped.
I haven’t had any disappointments during our 5 nights stay. We had a family suite. It’s well-furnished, so spacious and light! There’s a great view on the Maha tower and the sea! We didn’t have any meals in the hotel, so can’t say anything about the food and the restaurant.
There’s proper cleaning every day. The staff is so helpful and friendly. So, the stay was great!

Overall stay for 3 nights was acceptable. The staffs provided good and prompt service. Check-In was a very easy process.
Overall cleanliness of room is considered acceptable, if you don’t mind that some areas in the bathroom with metal parts are rusty.
Buffet breakfast was delightful. I like that they also have 2 restaurants available for in house dining.
