Hotel Premium in Ipoh

Horrible room with health and safety concerns. Please do not be fooled by the ratings.

The first room we checked in has problems with lights. The room is very dim as one of the lights is not working. There's a very strong unpleasant smell.

Without further checking, we requested to change room - and the second one is even worse. The ceiling is leaking, the tap is leaking, the wall is peeling off, the Aircon is full of dust (you can see it from outside) and the entire room smells like MOLD. Plus, the door lock is completely useless as it doesn't fit to the hole.

Service: When we brought this up, the receptionist confidently said that every room is NORMAL. If that's true, stay here and you'll get what we experienced.

Location: The only good thing is near to Mydin but your body deserves a cleaner place to rest.

Warm reminder: No refund for any bookings done via online platforms. We've paid for the lesson learned.

No lif for old people to go up to the room. Went you booking by app, the hotel staff give low great room. The walls and floors are dirty and itchy when sleeping. Like the pillowcases and bed are not clean enough. I was disappointed, because I booked through the agoda app, the staff should have given me a clean room. This hotel has no elevator at all, making it difficult for the elderly to go up and down with their luggage.

Honestly disgusting place to check-in. Cleanliness is terrible. Cobwebs undust, bed with hairs, bath floor seems mouldy, and in fact the whole bath with bidet seems like they never brush to clean. I have previously stayed at a budget hotel in Penang around the same price, but the bath isnt as disgusting as here. Musty aircond. Only good thing is the location.
