NIO Hotel in Georgetown

It is one of the most affordable hotels here, especially considering its premier location, which makes it very convenient for travelers who want easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. The rooms are neat and well cleaned, and overall the place feels well maintained and comfortable for a short stay.

That said, I do have a few suggestions for improvement. It would be nice if the rooms had a cabinet or wardrobe for storing clothes, as well as chairs where guests can sit and relax instead of always staying on the bed. The room is not very spacious, but it is still acceptable and practical, especially for budget travelers. Overall, given the price and location, it offers good value and is definitely worth considering if you are looking for an affordable place to stay in the area.

The hotel is in a great location, with nearby food stalls that are open even at midnight, and it’s within walking distance to George Town.

The whole room is clean and comfortable to stay. Just need more amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste.

The room was nice, but it didn't come with slippers or toiletries, so remember to bring your own. I think I arrived during a holiday because downstairs, there were Indians playing music, setting off fireworks, and celebrating all night long. 😂

The room is great, clean and bright. There a water dispenser near the lobby, would be great to have 1 on every floor. Wish there were more tables and place to hang stuff, had to put our bags on the floor.

The room was quite small and a bit cramped, but there was no strange smell. The cleanliness was just average. The hotel's location is good, close to several night markets. If you don't ride a motorcycle and need to rent one, there's a YADI electric scooter rental shop two blocks to the right when you exit the hotel.

A really great experience! For the price in Malaysia, it's excellent value. You get a private bathroom, and the hotel's location is fantastic. There's even a famous Michelin-starred Hokkien Mee noodle shop right downstairs!

Stayed here for four out of five days in Penang. Finally got a twin room with a beautiful city view – excellent value for money! The sink is quite deep, which was handy for a quick wash of intimates. There's a 7-Eleven about 500m across the street, and a small convenience store right opposite, making it super easy to grab water and other essentials.
