All essential amenities are intact. Cleanliness also excellent, if possible avoid any unit near lift,u can hear the noise any moment of the day
Check in process is swift, no deposit required

Hotel room is cheap. Good for solo stay.

Facilities are very good. Do add some hooks in the room & bathroom to hang clothes & towels. Also it would be good to install a small shampoo rack in the bathroom.

We stayed at Metro Hotel @ KL Sentral from 4th to 7th November 2025, and this was our 2nd time staying here. The location is excellent, just a 4–5 minute walk from KL Sentral, making it very convenient for travelers. There are many Bengali and Indian restaurants nearby, which is great for those looking for familiar food options.

However, there are a few things that could be improved. The hotel does not have a proper luggage storage room; guests have to leave their bags openly in the lobby, and the hotel clearly states that they takes no responsibility for any loss or missing items. This can be concerning for travelers checking out or waiting for a late train or flight.

Another issue is with the tourism tax collection. The reception asks every guest to pay the Malaysian tourism tax again, even though many guests have already paid it online during booking, and the payment is clearly mentioned in the booking receipt. Strangely, they ask guests to show proof via email, which is quite unnecessary and confusing.

This is not the first time I stayed in this hotel. This time I got level 5...the room was clean and newly renovated. Walking distance to Sentral KL convenience to Mrt, LRT and monorail..

This was a budget hotel we stayed at for 3 nights. At the time we thought it best to be as near to the city transit hubs as possible; to extend our sightseeing to attractions outside the downtown core of Kuala Lumpur. But we ended up staying within the downtown core of KL the whole time after being captivated by the incredible beauty of the nearby city park. It's this very big city park that truly showcases Kula Lumpur, in my opinion.

We even discovered a great shortcut to Perdana Park from this hotel but it requires going through the KL Sentral mall and train station and then to the park's underpass. This shortcut will not show-up on Google Maps either, which really isn't all that surprising.

Our room was clean and the bed cozy, as well as good AC. But there's only one elevator and the room has no fridge. This is very much a no-frills hotel. And sometimes the street below our window could be quite noisy. But you have to realize that this is right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It gets very busy in this particular area. Lots of hustle and bustle.

Nonetheless, the location is excellent and there's plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. And the city park, being the Perdana Botanical Gardens, was well worth our stay.

Conveniently located near KL Sentral, making it easy to get around the city. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay. Staff were polite and check-in was smooth. A good budget-friendly choice if you want to stay close to the station.
