Malacca, 27, 29, 31, Jalan Bunga Raya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is excellent, five stars! It's right by the Malacca River, making it easy to walk to most of the nearby attractions. There are also many popular restaurants in the vicinity, and it's super convenient for an evening stroll along the river. The only downside is probably that the room didn't have a window. Everything else was quite good.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! The back door opens right onto the river, and it's super convenient to walk everywhere from there. Strolling along the river was incredibly pleasant, and the price was great too!
Stayed at 1825 Hotel Melaka and had a pleasant experience. The location is convenient and makes it easy to get around the city. The room was clean and well-kept, and the bed was very comfortable, which made resting easy after a long day. Overall, a simple and comfortable stay.
Strategic location. No buffet bfast. But, a ala carte bfast. We ordered nasi lemak beef rendang and big breakfast.
The hotel is great, with a rustic, natural decor. Even though my room didn't have a window, it felt perfectly fine. A small river runs behind the hotel, so you can enjoy the breeze and the night view by the river in the evening.
I really love the room interior — it’s clean and nicely designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to tourist attractions and easily accessible by walking. Definitely recommended!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Next time I visit Malacca, I'll definitely stay here again ❤️
Sorry, I won't be returning to this hotel. I booked a king bed, but when I arrived, I got two single beds pushed together. Then the staff let me change to a second room, but the air conditioning was noisy, which really disturbed my sleep. So the staff let me change rooms again, but the third room was in really poor condition. The bed was broken, causing the mattress to sag downwards. The floor was...
It's just okay, but the location is excellent. Jonker Street is right across the road.
The hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions, all within walking distance.

Staff friendly, lication ok,just when overnight will listen some mat rempit play motor make very noisy and sound proof worst
Cannot expect much as the room design a bit old. Especially the bathroom. But still okay. The iron board is there but cant find the iron. For the breakfast, waiting to get an omelte is too long plus the staff who do it not pratice good hygine.
Location is great, room clealiness average, can be better. Hot shower is not working. Sound proofing is terrible. U can hear people talking, walk from corridor very loud and clear, open and close their room door will affect your sleep too.
There is alot mat rempit from 10pm till 4am...super noisy...cant sleep whole night....the management should do sonething....really not recommend this place
I went to Singapore to drop off my daughter for school, and on my way back, I stopped in Malacca for two or three days. It had been exactly 12 years since my last visit in 2014, so for this return trip, I decided to book one night at a budget hotel and one night at a high-end one. As expected, the budget hotel was a disaster – the hygiene was terrible, the facilities were subpar, and even the Polish...

My regular stay place when in Melaka. Polite and helpful staff. Hsekeeping and Maintenance team was superfast when I needed them. Thank you! Well done Kings Green Team!
Nice stay at hotel that provides free parking. Location is about 20mins walking to Jonker walk. Only issue was central aircon, which was not cold and not well maintained.
Overall, it was good, but there are a few areas that need upgrading. They only gave one key, and when I requested an extra one, they asked for a RM20 deposit, even though the room deposit was already RM100. There was a TV with a channel list, but none of the channels worked. When I asked, they said it had just happened and would be fixed soon. However, I stayed for two nights, and there were still...

I extended my stay for another day (22 February 2026) after having stayed for past 4D/3N. Review same as what was submitted earlier. Wifi really sucks!
The hotel is just ok and easy to get food ,free parking by the hotel.dtaff friendly
Disposable slippers and toothbrushes were not provided. The room had no telephone, so it was impossible to contact the front desk. The facilities were old, and the door could only be locked with a key.
It was okay, but it felt like an old hotel.
Hotel is great! Room allocated according to my request for a mini-bar. Shower temperature control is one of best I ever encountered in any hotel. Hot/cold control in one tap able to control ideal personal temperature desired. Value of money for price paid. Location is convenient to many facilities nearby.
Location is ok, outside have a lot of restaurants and massage shops. But WiFi is not good inside room.

It's pretty good, just a bit out of the way. But it's very clean, and the self-check-in was convenient.
Staff there are top notch. But the cleanliness of the room is below average.
No elevator, it's difficult to carry a lot of luggage upstairs.
Melaka has really taken off, and this place offers great value for money.
The room felt old and was very small. There were bugs, and no tissues, shower gel, or toothbrushes were provided. And yes, bugs again.
The location of this inn is the centre city ( just-a walking distance to the big shopping mall) Dataran Pahlawan & nearby eateries shops The counter staff Mr kampiun is friendly & have a smiling face when ever we approached him . Only the amenities / facility inside the room (A04) need to improve, like bath towel supply are very old & black / the shower curtain can’t cover up the full length ...

Have a bad experience here . Wall soundproofing was so bad , the room next to mine baby cry whole night and even the phone msg sound and call also can clearly hear . Aircon explode the ice out at the midnight ... but with this price , nothing can be complain again . You pay what you get .

We chose the hotel based on its free parking, but... we were directed to park on the street and were told we'd need to pay after 8 am. After pointing out the free parking mentioned in our reservation the front desk person took our license plate and said it'd be okay. Luckily the next day was a public holiday, hence free street parking, but... I would not trust this hotel again for their free parking...
Had a one night stay. Although the room is small without windows, but it is clean with mineral water, hair blower provided. The bed is comfortable. Food can be food easily around that area, just opposite the road at the end corner you'll find a mamak restaurant (for those who hunts for food during the mid-night). To Jonker street, it is about 10mins drive. The only issue is there do not have lift...
Service was not good....no wifi
My stay at Hotel Star Moon Melaka was great overall. The location was convenient, close to key attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and comfortable, though slightly compact. Staff were friendly and helpful. For the price, it’s a good value, though some areas could use minor updates. I’d consider staying again for my budget business trip.

My preferred hotel when i came to melaka. Very near to centre of Melaka. At night. You can walk to jonker walker and taming sari from this hotel. I booked 3 rooms with twin bed. Hotel price very cheap and affordable included breakfast for 2 pax. My siblings love their breakfast. 2 main menu like mee goreng and nasi lemak. Also have cereal. Mee sup, porridge and toast.
Plans to come over again – A friendly welcome with a smile. Every question was answered in an orderly and easy to understand manner.
Bed and pillow is alright, but came with one layer of pillowcase and moldy smell at first night. The floor mat stained (see photo). Toilet comes with liquid soap that is for both body and hair, and towel. The hotel does not provide tooth brush, shower cap, face towel. A nice, clean budget hotel with a very convenient location—close to food options like Pizza Hut and KFC, as well as grocery stores like 99 Speedmart and self-service laundry facilities. It’s one of my favorite places to stay in Melaka, and I highly recommend it to budget travelers.
The water dispenser seem didn't change the water filter for a long time... the bed head light fused and caused the room dark.
If you have a car, then it's a decent hotel. Everything is really far from this location. I only saw the reception once during check-in. They don't speak English well. The room was tidy. I asked for a change of bedding as it was worn out, just like the towels. There were no complimentary toiletries or water.
It's mostly good and the price was very attractive. There is no lift only the stairs. The room was very clean, it has a kettle and 2 mugs. There is a TV but no fridge. There are coolers on the floors. There was a door to the next room and one night ( about 11.30 pm) someone was tugging at the door very loudly. Luckily I made sure it was locked from my side. hotel was close to where my meeting was to be. clean and basic place to stay. thank you very much for the hospitality.

Electronic door lock not working. Have to leave the room unlocked. Verbal report made not attend to even after few hours. Water puddle on bathroom. No free WiFi as advertised.
I stayed here 1 day . Feel very comfort & nice. Staff very friendly. Parking available, restaurant beside only, other facilities like farmacy, clinic, 7e, Speedmart all very nearby walking distance. Price reasonable. Overall for me ok la. Recommended

Cons 1) There is no remote TV in the room.i requested remote tv from the lady receptionist.and she told me someone will send it to my room.....they never send the remote to my room....very disappointed.
Location is great but it was very noisy at night as is near the main road n market
The location is strategic, but cleanliness could be improved. It was probably affected by the Chinese New Year public holiday. Overall, I would rank it as the second-best hotel in the small town of Tampin.
This hotel is under renovation right now (Dec 25) but it's still okay to stay there. Overall, the cleanliness of this hotel is good. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Thanks again, Victor
Very comfortable and clean. The owner was very kind and thoughtful. He even bought us some snacks from Malacca. Thank you very much. We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied. Friends said they would stay here again next Highly recommend.

It's more of a B&B setup, conveniently located, but everything else is just average.
Location of the hotel is very good, right next to Jonker Street. However, as a heritage hotel, it has limited facilities ie. no pool, gym or restaurant, but there are plenty of food options nearby. Also, avoid choosing rooms with 2 levels, as toilet is usually on ground level and makes going to toilet at night challenging due to the steep staircase. Staff service is also mediocre and not too helpful

Front desk, building maintenance, the 'guards', restaurant staff were all warm and welcoming. Kudos. Unobstructed view all around. The room air con was sub par, WiFi only at front lobby.
