I could use this space to write about how stunning and scenic Hakuraa Huraa is, it truly is paradise! But honestly, what made my stay unforgettable wasn’t just the views, it was the incredible people who made me feel so welcome

From the moment I arrived, the team went above and beyond. Hussain kept my room spotless every day and always greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly chat

We had an absolutely amazing time at the resort. From the moment we landed at Malé airport, we were greeted by the hotel staff who assisted us with checking in for our seaplane transfer

There are some minor downsides, of course: the location is far from Male and it's impossible to swim at low tide. Otherwise, everything was top-notch

And Thara – wow! The desserts and breakfasts were mouth watering and out of this world. Thara not only catered to my diabetes but also greeted me every day with warmth, smiles, and chats that made me feel like family

And finally, Rumesh – the heart and soul of Hakuraa Huraa. Words can’t do justice to how genuine, kind, and welcoming Rumesh is, he made my stay very special

What an absolutely stunning resort. Food amazing Location the best. Each guest has 1 person to look after them for the duration like a butler. We had Faudi looking after us and nothing was a problem

She anticipated our needs before we even mentioned them, and made us feel not just like valued guests, but like family. Her sincerity and professionalism elevated our experience far beyond expectations

The hotel has a large pool and a small artificial beach. The food at breakfast and dinner was good. The staff, especially during breakfast and dinner, were very friendly and helpful

It's a lovely hotel except that the rooms are a bit old and the service is very slow. I found the staff very kind and helpful however the service is always slow. The beach at the hotel is so nice and a great place to be

Due to the situation in the Middle East, we were forced to stay longer in the Maldives. For the first two nights, we stayed at a four-star hotel in Malé, but it cannot be compared to this hotel

The hotel offers excellent service. Transportation to and from the airport is very well organized. The staff responds quickly to all requests at any time of day or night. I was pleased with the excellent service

This is an airport hotel. Business like, decent facilities but noisy. Poor breakfast. the "beach is closer to concrete than sand pool is good.

Located right next to the airport, with a shuttle bus just a 3-minute walk away, the service is excellent. The facilities are a bit old, but the breakfast is good. Ideal for waiting to transfer to a seaplane.

We loved the interesting dining options (dream island, beach dinner, 5. 8), local island tours, snorkeling and dolphin cruise. Finally, the service was impeccable, and the staff charming and personable

The location was superb, and the calm sea made for enjoyable snorkeling, like being in a mythical underwater palace. The food at every restaurant was delicious and of impeccable quality

the sea plane experience was exceptional - getting a birds eye view of the stunning atolls throughout maldives was such a special treat

my husband and i came here on our honeymoon and i don’t have the words to express how perfect our experience was from beginning to end

from the moment we grabbed our bags, we were seamlessly escorted by a hurawalhi staff member who helped check our bags in for the sea plane transfer and guided us to the lounge, which was beautiful and offered complimentary food/beverages and a beautiful viewing deck where you could watch sea planes take off and land

When I mentioned the uneasy feeling I had, he clearly stated that repeat guests receive souvenirs and private cars, implying that they don't value non-repeat guests! It was disappointing

The Ocean Houses with private pool, elegant ambience, timeless moments and fine service provided by the House Master, are key elements that make Naladhu a premium honeymoon destination

We spent 8 nights out at Naldhu in late April 2026. We visit most years and we seem to always return. We usually go in October but our timing this year was a little different but the weather was just beautiful

We had clear skies, little wind and glassy seas for the entire visit, with the exception of the last day when the weather turned. Great time to go, we were able to east outside under the stars on the beach every night

The thing we really love about Naladhu is that at 75% capacity you can get around the island and rarely see the other guests, its a great place to totally relax and not have to worry about constantly bumping in to people

Samet the chef made special off menu meals for us and was happy to curate based on our appetite and mood. Hatim looked after us in the restaurant with enthusiasm all the time, always a smile and eager to please

Naladhu feels more like your own luxury home than a resort. The villas are spacious and private, with stunning views especially from the bathroom, where you can lie in the tub overlooking your private pool and the ocean

1 day tour is a must to get in Maafushi Island. Bfast is decent but dont eat too much if you will be doing the sharkbay tour as you will be proned to seasick. 5 days travel to Maldives as a whole is a enough

Staff and excursion teams are very helpful, theybreally do their best to take care of you. Team Octopus(excursion team) really takes care of you and get you nice pictures and videos of the excursion

However, I was pleasantly surprised by the view from the second floor, and the room itself was quite spacious. The advantage of being on a lower level is that you get a great view of the beach and coconut trees

Everything was good. Location is great and hotel did provide everything from A - Z. I am super satisfied!

It is disappointing to see such rigid policies applied in circumstances beyond anyone’s control. In the Maldives, when the sea is rough and strong winds prevent travel, guests should reasonably expect some accommodation

No sea view, except from the top small swimming pool. Service was great, with good English skills. Located in a busy street, but walk distance to most things

The service was fine, but the rooms were small and crowded together with no soundproofing. Since I couldn't return due to flight restrictions, I had to stay a day, so I decided to stay in a star-rated hotel

Easy pick up from the airport and the hotel location is great. Nice hotel with all the needs and service is good and prompt. Good place to stay if you need a stopover before or after your resort

Staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Our transfers from the resort was smooth and same for our transfers to the airport. We arrived at 12.30pm and left the hotel after 1pm the next day.

Facilities: OK, an extra bed was added for the children, which was quite convenient; Hygiene: OK, clean. Environment: Not far from the airport, free shuttle bus, very convenient for landing

Since we had a late flight, they gave us an extended check-out, which was a huge help since we have children. They even provided plenty of water. Overall, I highly recommend it

In particular, the hotel is very considerate in protecting the safety of tourists. There are lifeguards sitting on a high platform on the beach, always watching the sea

There is also a lifeguard on the lookout at the end of the water house, and the field of vision can cover most of the water sports area, ensuring that unskilled water kayaking, windsurfing and swimming tourists are accidentally swept away by the tide! Breakfast is good in all aspects

Among the more than 10 hotels I have stayed in, it is the only hotel that can rent windsurfing and various manual water sports equipment for free (I heard that the Jumeirah Hotel in the Maldives where I stayed 10 years ago has now been renamed another hotel)

Although the dining environment of Japanese food for dinner is good, I will definitely not order Japanese sashimi next time. I would rather bring a few more boxes of instant noodles

On the first day, they were worried that I would be blown away and unable to return, so they taught me how to save myself and swim back. I hope the hotel can convey my gratitude

I went there for the first time in 2019. The hotel had just been built. It was called North Luxe at that time, and now it is called Jumeirah

The island ️ itself is simply stunning what you would imagine a desert island to be. Clean white beaches, warm seas beautiful coral reefs all surrounding the lush tropical trees of the inner island

You get your own sun loungers and parasol, but powder white sand to a beautiful warm sea is my idea of heaven. There is an excellent house reef to explore on the sunrise side which is where we were staying

We weren’t really sure if we were going to get on holiday this year as our flights were being changed every day up to the departure date. However we did get away to what can only be described as a little piece of heaven

There are some awesome fish to see and we had 3 resident turtles grazing on the sea grass everyday. Black tip reef sharks were everywhere in the shallows, very timid and harmless but a great sight to see while swimming

Komandoo is a small island located on an atoll about 45 mins by sea plane from Male. We arrived to a drum beat welcome from the reception staff and we were made welcome with a drink

We also took the manta ray safari but we didn’t see any however we did get to spend sometime with a colony of nurse sharks what a great experience! Completely terrifying at first but then so relaxing and calming

Our stay at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in the Deluxe Overwater Villa with Pool was absolutely fantastic and truly memorable. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless

Besides the beauty of the island, the exotic birds, the sea life the humans (Taj team) make it worth your while

Wonder why people (young) took those rides when you can easily walk across the island in less than 15 minutes. Anyway, thanks to the whole staff (housekeeping, restaurant staff and butler) for their impeccable service

It was very thoughtful of them as were hungry and tired after a long flight. While checking out they even gifted us a personalized souvenir in form of our photo-framed picture that was clicked when we arrived

Excellent location (just 20 minutes by boat from Velana MLE airport), friendly staff, great service. My family really enjoyed being there. It is suitable for couples, families, solo and group travelers.

The airport pickup was extremely smooth — the Taj team was already present before we arrived, handled our luggage, and escorted us to the speedboat that took us to the island without any hassle

The general menu was excellent with some great fish dishes cooked to order! A pool would be a real asset to this hotel, as would some kind of evening cultural entertainment program

Definitely one of the best quality breakfasts we had during our stay in the Maldives. The hotel has a lovely lobby and a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day

They offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the airport or any location in Hulhumalé, which made our travel so convenient. The breakfast spread was excellent—with a good variety and great taste

Ocean Grand Hulhumalé gave us a truly comfortable and luxurious stay. The hotel is modern and well-maintained, and our room was spacious, clean, and stylish with all the basic amenities provided

Upon arrival, the free shuttle was good. The room has 2 small windows which allow you to see sunrise. The breakfast was served at both outdoor and indoor area

While the amenities could be improved a bit more, in terms of overall quality, this is without a doubt one of the best places to stay in Hulhumalé

We ate the week really delicious a big compliment to the chef and Soonil! At the cocktail bar we could always end the evening comfortably, special thanks to Manir - he was always so attentive and so friendly! It was really a dream vacation

Makunudo island resort is quite a unique island resort, designed specifically if you want to keep away from artificial, super luxurious hotels and have a different experience

Nonetheless, the guys organising them are all amazing and sure will make them worth it. - Once a month they throw away organic leftovers from the kitchen to the sea, which explains the number of sharks they're nearby

That means you just need to put a foot on the water and you'll have coral, fish, sharks, turtles, etc. No need to take any boats from the resort. Not found one member who wasn't happy to see you and happy to be there

Camaleons, birds, bats, and almost no mosquito! (They do a treatment every other day) Cons: - Food is not bad in quality, quite the contrary, however, there's not a huge variety to choose from, which may be an issue if you stay there for more than 7 days

Recently visited Makanoodu Island(October)and it was a wonderful experience! The island is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, surrounded by nature's beauty

We are happy that we decided to do in Outrigger Konotta our vacation! Everything was magnificent ,the ocean villa , the restaurants, the sand beach, the weather was very generous, the staff was 5 stars level ! Only smile and happiness was everywhere ! I really enjoy this vacation each moment , especially we celebrate my wife’s birthday here ! I highly recommend this place to book your next vacation

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the resort. All the basics were there - it was very clean, the beaches were beautiful and the villas well equipped and spacious

A few extra bonuses: the staff were lovely, the food was much better than standard resort food, they accommodated my husbands nut allergy really well, there are a lot of surprise and delight moments eg treats waiting for you in the room, and the island is a fantastic size such that it’s very private and easy to get around

My only criticism is that the wines on the all inclusive package were pretty ordinary, but the cocktails were so good that it didn't really matter. Thanks to all the staff for one of the best weeks of our lives!

Return guests are a huge feature of this island’s visitors and that tells you something good about Velaa doesn’t it ? This year I asked if someone could teach me padel and in typical Velaa fashion I found that padel, tennis and several other racquet sports have four young professionals present who have all had outstanding international competitive careers

I wish there was another Velaa in another part of the world that showed as much appreciation and affection for its’ location as this island shows its devotion to the Maldives and the Maldivian people

Our stay was incredible! The overwater villa with direct access to the sea is perfect

The services offered are excellent, and the food at the various restaurants is equally delicious! We were lucky enough to stay there at the end of January, and there were very few people at the resort, so we were able to spend a lot of time alone, which allowed us to enjoy it even more
