We paid through Dusit Thani for our sea plane 500 dollars each (very expensive but Moofushi is similar) however, when we arrived we were then asked to pay a further 50 dollars in overweight, as they weighed hand luggage and hand bags

We were showed by a Dusit Thani representative to a regular bus, (nothing like Moofushi or JW Marriot)that took us to the sea plane terminal airport

It is a small beautiful island , cleaned and maintained to a highest standard. All inclusive option , breakfast , lunch and dinner had variety and was lovely. All staff were extremely polite and professional

The price and quality are in line. There's an underwater world, not great, but it's there. The waiters in the restaurant are good. you won't go hungry, but the seafood is limited

We stayed as a family and booked four sea view rooms, mainly because the price was very budget-friendly — honestly one of the cheapest options we could find in the Maldives

Instead, three rooms were in Arena Veli while one was placed in a different building (Arena Sea View), which made coordination inconvenient

On the positive side, drinking water can be refilled for free, which is environmentally friendly and cost-saving. We also joined the half-day sea tour, but unfortunately it did not meet expectations

There were no dolphins sighted, and we were taken to only two snorkeling spots — one of which had very little to see. The crew kept asking us to take photos, which made the experience feel more commercial than enjoyable

We had a beautiful Beach Villa, with an amazing view, but to be honest, looking at any of the Beach Villas all of the views looked pretty amazing

We requested a paid upgrade in advance via email and ultimately stayed six nights in an overwater bungalow for under 3000 RMB per night during peak season

com but was disappointed when the staff didn't go to the new terminal to pick us up and we had to find our own way pass the old terminal to find their assisting counter. It was a 45 mins speedboat ride to the resort

The resort offers one free snorkel trip every day, but swimming around the island is so good as well. Bungalows are super nice with good amenities, AC and open air bathroom fitted with quality items (Grohe)

Last, the stuff is super friendly and helpful. Most of the extra are quite pricey, but you are on a remote island after all. You can pay in USD at the end, the rate is close to the intra banking exchange)

Due to the strong wind and waves during this period, unfortunately we were unable to participate in sea activities such as paddle boarding, but the coaches held a fierce volleyball match in the swimming pool
