Our accommodations were very clean and we loved being able to swim in the lagoon, surrounded by fish. The food at The Market was delicious and definitely led to us putting on some weight (watch out for the Room of Sin)

The staff there, Gracia and Hunaidh, were very attentive and kind. We even were able to experience a romantic sunset cruise, guided by a manager, Issey, who showed us some dolphins that happened to be swimming nearby

Overall, it was a very memorable experience, only made possible by the wonderful staff at Joy Island, and we will absolutely be returning here in the future!

Our amazing hostess, Maral, greeted us upon arrival, helped us with any questions we had, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay

A magnificent hotel. The food is delicious and varied. Pristine white sand. Azure water. There's a tennis court. Tons of different activities, including swimming with sharks. Overall, it was a blast.

My wife and I recently celebrated our honeymoon here. It was not our first time to Joy Island, but our second, and it was perfect in every way

The beach villa, ocean villa , spa, skybar, restaurants , all the locations are breathtaking. Food was exceptional and top notch. Breakfast spread can be a bit more, it felt very basic as compared to Other food options

The island is stunning—crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and beautifully designed ocean suites that offer both comfort and privacy

Special mention to the staff, every restaurant had super friendly and accommodating staff. AJ from Raloo, went above and beyond to make sure we had good dining experience in our last dinner at the resort

The resort has lot of activities too that would suit everyone. A special mention to our butler Saurav. He made sure our stays and transfers were comfortable till we boarded our flight back home

We had one of the most amazing experience at Heritance Aarah. Everything from the room, food and hospitality were top notch. We were able to try new food for every meal during our stay

The food was exceptional across all restaurants, with a wide variety and impeccable quality. A very special mention to our butler Kyaw, who looked after us throughout the stay

Although Cocoon does not have a house reef which we were a little concerned about they do have trips out to the reef

Food at all the outlets were fantastic, the Waterfont definitely being our favourite. We had exceptional service from Diva & Ari, Yuta, Queenie from the Beach bar and Prandeep in Huba Huba and Zuka at the Palm Grill

We were lucky enough to stay in the 2 bedroom pool villa and this was amazing, spacious and great location to the beach, waterfront restaurant and the beach bar

While chartering a boat with Conrad is expensive, our family of four had a crew of five, ensuring complete safety. The captain and crew worked tirelessly to help us track whale sharks in various areas of the water

However, to ensure we didn't disappoint, the butler arranged a separate lunch for our family, making it a perfect start to our island adventure. During our stay, we even spotted a whale shark

The place was wonderful, everything was perfect: the staff, the food, the sea, and the rooms. There was nothing to complain about. The downside is that there's no reef, which means the marine life is sparse

Every restaurant was brilliant, both for food and service. At the buffet at the Beach Club, behind every service counter, staff greeted you with a smile every day

We were greeted at the seaplane arrival jetty by smiling, waving staff, seated at the pagoda to enjoy beautiful views of turquoise, crystal-clear water and white sand, given a refreshing drink while we caught our breath, and told we would be taken to our room as soon as we wished

Snorkeling on the house reef (accessible directly from each bungalow’s front deck) was terrific. Food on the standard package was outstanding, varied, delicious, and extremely generous

The island has a wide range of villas, and you can swim freely around different areas. Standard rooms are a bit small but all are beach-facing right from the door, which is a big plus

Deluxe rooms are more spacious, though not all offer a direct beach view you may need to step outside to enjoy it

Marine life is a highlight - different parts of the island offer unique underwater experiences, including colorful fish, small sharks, and beautiful coral reefs. The staff were friendly and attentive

One minor downside is that seaplanes frequently pass overhead since the island is close to the airport, which may be noticeable at times

Rooms were cleaned twice daily, and the entire island was well-maintained and spotless throughout our stay

Alcoholic drinks vary from 10-25$ per glass but their bars have happy hours. Dinner buffet is 90$ per person. We tried the room service food, was quite good. In general, I would recommend this hotel to everyone

This hotel is super close to the airport, just a 10-minute speedboat ride away. It just opened last year, so all the facilities are brand new. The breakfast and dinner buffets are quite generous

Facilities and Service: As a new hotel opening at the end of 2025, the facilities and service are top-notch. They won't treat you differently for only staying two nights or having limited English

I stayed one night as a layover. Plus, they give you a $20 credit per person per night to spend on the island, which you can even use at the souvenir shop

Our butler Myat, the sommelier, and our roomboy Mohamond all went above and beyond, offering the warmest, most thoughtful care throughout our stay. Their kindness made all the difference

For Chinese people, it may be that there are fewer vegetables on the island. Fortunately, we can always find meals that suit our taste. Half-pack does not include alcohol. The "alcohol" here also includes ordinary water

My wife chose a nice hotel for our honeymoon. It has a private seaplane lounge, a Chinese-speaking butler, and the environment is decent. The price is cheap and good value

Very very nice location. Great sea view and good food. Very nice n friendly staff. Our Great host poula, a wonderful guy, manage to book for us a dolphin cruise and we get to see dolphin !! Highly recommend

I would like to praise the Chinese housekeeper Lily, whose Chinese name is Jinen. She answered all my questions and helped me in various ways

There was also a security guy named Ken who let us snorkel at the cargo ship dock and attracted many fish for us
