We stayed at Anantara Veli for 11 nights and had the best time of our lives. Let's begin with the service, from the minute we arrived to the airport to the moment we checked out the service was absolutely flawless

We left two weeks ago and are still talking about the people, the food and the resort. From being whisked away to the lounge after landing, we were on a speedboat to Anantara Veli in less than 15 minutes

Ban Hura was one of these restaurants that stood out with its amazing Thai cuisine making it a must try for all! Every staff member we encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were friendly, delightful and made our stay super comfortable! The hotel even decorated our room for my birthday and gifted me a complimentary cake and champagne which was truly a class act and made my day even more...

The turquoise water is so beautiful that pictures and videos do not do it justice. The grounds were always clean and every staff member will make sure you have anything and everything you need as soon as you sit down

Honorable mentions to the greatest people we came across during our stay: Mithun in Dhoni Bar, Bokey in Cumin, Hassan and Lyss in Origami and of course, our room boy Ruhul, who kept our overwater pool villa spotless twice a day, everyday

Our favorite dinners were at Origami and Baan Hura. The Pad Thai was delicious and the chef came out to check on how the food was at each visit. We also got to experience dining at the sister island, Dhigu

The sunset side has beautifull views and a cooler tenprature fewling, but in my opinion is more open and does not seem as private as the sunrise side. The sunset side has beautifull sunsets and a stunning sea

The beach is very clean, soft and delicate. The sea is very transparent Tiffany blue. The butler on the island is Sam. He is very nice and always serves us patiently. Ctrip's service is also very good!

Amazing atmosphere, the staff is very kind and sinceerfull especially the waiter Pradid that showed up smiling every day and our ambassador adam that took care of us on the island

We visited the Maldives for the first time with our teenage kids in February, and Sun Siyam Iru Veli couldn’t have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy, welcoming and relaxed

Thank you! An insider tip: Pick a side that fits you. The sunrise side is full with life, corals and marine animals like baby sharks, rayas, and turtles. It has a very calm sea but its really hot on this side

On the last night we paid for the ‘Dine by Design’ it was expensive but what a wonderful night, a private table on the beach with two members of staff , one cook and one waiter and they set up a cooking station a few yards away

The resort offers one free snorkel trip every day, but swimming around the island is so good as well. Bungalows are super nice with good amenities, AC and open air bathroom fitted with quality items (Grohe)

Warm and friendly staff. Had a wonderful time there. Clean and comfortable rooms. The spa experience was great. The food was excellent. Beautiful tropical setting, beach and sea to unwind and relax.

This was my first Maldives trip, so I was a bit nervous I might not be impressed, but it was a nice surprise that I will remember in my heart. First of all, this is a barefoot island

there’s no concrete, but sand everywhere. The beach amazing and never thought snorkel could be so good only feet away from getting in the water

com but was disappointed when the staff didn't go to the new terminal to pick us up and we had to find our own way pass the old terminal to find their assisting counter. It was a 45 mins speedboat ride to the resort

Despite feeling unwell, I joined some sea sports events like the daily complimentary 1-hour snorkeling trip, did jet-ski and the night snorkeling too. Do make reservations a day before going for these events

It was our first stay at ROBINSON Maldives, and it exceeded all our expectations. We had a truly wonderful vacation with stunning views, a beautiful beach, and an incredible house reef full of colorful fish

Location amazing, ocean amazing, marine life amazing, food amazing, big thanks to all the staff members: Abdullah, Naushad, Aladdin, Laurin, Imam, Kiran, Chiara, we forgot everyone’s names but truly big thanks, we went diving several times and it was truly amazing

This island wa more than we could have dreamed for and it just kept giving. From the moment we stepped off the speed boat the welcome was so perfect! Bare feet with a relaxed and chilled island vibe

The evening entertainment was also fantastic, both from the hotel team and the invited performers. Special thanks to DJ Tiger, Chris, and Denis for their great performances during our stay

We also really enjoyed the delicious food, the talantlivye chefs, and the fast, professional service in the restaurant. Everything was fresh, tasty, and prepared with care

The turtle excursion was one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere at the hotel was amazing, and the staff were always friendly, positive, and attentive

Every single day, he surprised our son with beautifully crafted sea animals made from towels, and it absolutely made his day—every day

Whether it was a romantic dinner on the beach, beautiful setup and absolutely delicious food at Yama or a relaxed lunch at Mitro Pool bar, every setting was unforgettable

The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, always going above and beyond to ensure every moment was perfect. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their personal touches made us feel incredibly special

Waking up to uninterrupted ocean views and stepping straight into the warm lagoon was something we’ll never forget. One of the most special parts of our stay was the incredible room service

The dining experience was equally outstanding. Each meal was a delight, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes, beautifully presented and full of flavor

The resort offers the perfect balance of relaxation and activities. From snorkeling in vibrant coral reefs to simply unwinding with a cocktail at sunset, there is something for every mood

Despite these operational points, we genuinely had a lovely honeymoon. The natural beauty of the island, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall atmosphere made it a memorable stay

The island itself is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and we would absolutely recommend it to others looking for a special getaway

A perfect stay for a snorkeling holiday!! Surrounding environment is perfect, and you can spot a baby shark really easily. The coral garden is absolutely amazing. Air conditioner is really efficient

When we arrived at the new villa, our luggage had not yet arrived and there were no towels available, which created more waiting. We were not in a rush, but smoother coordination would have improved the experience

We would also like to give a special shout-out to the dive center team, whose professionalism and friendliness created some of our most memorable moments, and to Hussam, the island photographer, who went above and beyond to help us resolve an unexpected technical problem during our stay

Having drinks by the beachside bar at night was amazing! This place gives a really good experience. However, some of the water sports at island resorts tend to be expensive than local islands

We spent 6 nights on the island, and it was impossible to be bored. Everything was perfectly organized, clean. Vey helpful staff, wide selection of food for meals. If you're looking for privacy, you've got it

🌴 Review: Dreamland Maldives (Stayed July 7–11, 2025) 🌴 Just returned from an amazing 4-night stay at Dreamland Maldives, and overall we were really impressed — especially if you love marine life and peaceful surroundings

🐠 Snorkeling & Excursions – Absolutely worth it! The house reef around the island is full of life. We saw nurse sharks, sea cucumbers, and even sea turtles while snorkeling close to shore

Our favorite excursions were: • A trip to Hanifaru Bay to watch the majestic manta rays. • A nurse shark tour around the Dreamland reef — exciting and well organized

It has been a perfect vacation, the hotel is perfect and romantic to go as a couple, excellent service, wonderful food and very friendly staff, the island is well designed, the indoor restaurant is very romantic and the beach bar too

The hotel roads were very sandy, making it easy for the wheels to get stuck. I booked two diving trips, but saw very little marine life; I didn't see a single turtle on either dive

The hotel was quite small, limiting the area. The waves were large near the Sunrise Villas. I heard there were two chefs from China, but the food in the restaurant was quite bad

The hotel is beautiful, but it is indeed a bit far; the seaplane transfer cost quite a bit. The service after check-in was impeccable. It would have been even better if we had a Chinese-speaking butler

I stayed at two hotels in the Maldives. This hotel was more expensive than the first, but not necessarily better. The internet and bank apps were extremely slow to load

The beauty of the island is breathtaking, we could barely believe our eyes when we arrived! We snorkelled every day, and feel incredibly lucky to have seen such precious creatures in the wild, from rays and turtles to nurse sharks and dolphins! We were very impressed by all of the staff at Sirru Fen Fushi, all of whom upheld the highest service standards

The food was delicious, and we particularly enjoyed the buffet at Raha Market and Azure restaurant. I have a peanut allergy, so sometimes eating while travelling can be a worry. However, this was absolutely not an issue

Once we were off the speed boat, the staff on the resort were very friendly and helpful! If you were looking for a bit of shade in the ocean (which is needed in the Maldivian sun!) I probably wouldn't recommend the sunset view side only because its sunny all afternoon however the water is stunning and the sunset is very beautiful! By about 3ish our pool was fully shaded though which helped! Make sure...

We were left waiting 30 minutes with no idea if they were coming or what was going to happen and had to call multiple times which was not the best way to start the trip

Our pick up at the airport was not very smooth though and we were told our pick up would be waiting for us as we left the airport only to find no one there

The breakfast buffet was a bit of a let down for us however we ate at Washoku which was nice and Flame was excellent

What a perfect slice of paradise! We spent 4 nights in the overwater villas and left feeling very happy and relaxed

The housekeeper Sue is very considerate and smiling. The hotel room I chose has direct access to the sea, and the sea is super clear. In addition, the hotel and the housekeeper were very thoughtful in their arrangements

Knowing that it was my wife and I's wedding anniversary, they arranged a cake and decorations, which was very thoughtful. The hotel offers many activities, such as snorkeling and fashion shows

The housekeeper Sue provided great service. We found the counter staff at the airport to lead us to the pier, and then took a speedboat for about half an hour to reach the island

The sea view water house is very large and the restaurant on the island is also good

Lovely new hotel! Very fashionable design and clean. I can see the stingray sometimes nearby my villa. Better to choose ocean room instead of lagoon as it faces male and it’s quiet bright at night

Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and you can really feel how much they care about making your stay perfect. A special thank you to Sina, who was fantastic and always made sure every details was perfect

And Mubarak was honestly amazing. He made everything so easy for us and was always there whenever we needed anything. He really went above and beyond and made our stay even more special

The food was also great, so many amazing restaurants and every meal was delicious. Overall we had the best time and can’t recommend the Waldorf Astoria Maldives enough

Having our own pool and waking up to that ocean view every morning was something really special. What really made the trip though was the service

We had such an amazing stay at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi. From the moment we arrived, everything was just incredible

Excellent getaway for families. I could go on and on about this hotel. Super attentive staff, fantastic house reef - literally 1 m away from the terrace we could see marine life at its best

Everything was simply wonderful. The room felt like a dream come true, beautifully prepared and cared for in every detail, making us feel as if we were in a little corner of paradise

The small beaches around the island were just as beautiful, each one with its own charm

Desmond at the Reef restaurant; to Sunny, Ashik and Suood at the Azzurro Mare restaurant for making our dinners so memorable and special and our fantastic butler Munna who not only kept our room so dazzlingly clean and orderly but added lovely thoughtful touches, like the creative sandy drawings he left by the door every night to wish us goodnight

One exception to some is that the main buffet restaurant is mostly Indian food, or at least the Indian food is what's better, East Asian and western food offering not that great, so if you don't like Indian food, may want to just stick to the Italian and Thai restaurants on the island

One of the things we loved most was the possibility to move around the island depending on the sun, always finding the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the incredible surroundings. The restaurants were simply sublime

Ideal for honeymooners, couples of all ages and of course any one who wants a total chill out - would be back in a heartbeat but the food is too nice and you will roll home FYI!

We toured Kerala in India and then had a week here to end an amazing trip. It is such a special place, swam with turtles, manta rays and clown fish

I did a discovery dive with Stefano who was so patient and kind as it was my first ever dive. We also had three wonderful complimentary seasons with JB at the gym

We waited in the ‘Moo’ lounge for our sea plane, we were greeted by name, and given a lovely refreshing towel and a drink. We were able to get further refreshment and snacks whilst waiting as we wished

After being show around our villa we were left to enjoy the absolute tranquility of our villa. It has everything you would expect, his & her basins, rainfall shower or hand held - you choose

Heaven is a place on Earth, it’s official! We were met on arrival and escorted to our sea plane check-in by a wonderful Constance Moofushi representative

On the plus side, there is an airport, kayaks, friendly staff, shark feeding. More adults are also staying at the hotel. The beer and cocktails are good

Rajan our house attendant was a particular highlight, he always had a big smile on his face and went above and beyond to make our stay special and really succeeded, if you read this Rajan, thank you very much for your excellent hospitality, you made our stay very enjoyable! Only feedback I would give is to reduce the number of notifications sent by the app, it was a bit excessive

White sand beaches, turquoise blue sea and so many tropical fish, it really is paradise. Location Travelling to hideaway is around 1 hour and 15 mins in a sea plane , when arriving for your transfer in Male

We had a 10 night stay at Hideaway Beach Resort in March and everything was more than perfect! Everybody was so nice and extremely kind! They took great care of us in every possible way

The food was also absolutely excellent in every restaurant. Last but not least the whole resort was so beautiful and taken care of from the stunning beach to every single flower

The hospitality is sensational. The staff are so welcoming and personal. We had all inclusive (definitely recommend). Water sports were included with this deal. Having this also made more options complimentary

The food will change every day, but after three days, I still have no appetite, so I ate the Shin Ramen I brought with me. You can take aerial photos, and the sunrise and sunset are beautiful

Paradise on Earth!! An absolutley fantastic stay at the Melia Whale Lagoon Resort. Everything from Airport transfers to food to entertainment and excursions were 10/10

While the sand and beach are cleaned daily, unfortunately, a fair amount of trash accumulates over time. The two pools look great, but they're much too warm. An egg cooker would be more fitting than a pool

We were there at the end of March 2026 and felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. It felt like less than 20% of the beach villas were occupied

The good being it's far out enough that we don't see any city structure or other islands. But the bad being the water plane ride there, it was hot with bad ventilation and a 45 minutes ride can be suffocating for some

Our trip to Coracora Island was absolutely perfect. The scenery was stunning, the island had excellent facilities, and the four restaurants each offered unique flavors

We stayed at the water villa, and I gotta say, it was on of the finest hotel room we have been at. Beautiful room with an even more beautiful view just right out the glass door

At the water villa, you constantly hear water plane flying in and out, or the buggy driving by. If you like to stay in your room and rest, it can be slightly annoying
